Very friendly and accommodating staff. We got Vietnamese deep tissue massages (mine was by An) and they were very good. we also got manicures which were superb. We turned up without a reservation and it was not a problem. Definitely recommend and would go back again

I had been here on my previous trip back in 2015 for a Mani and Pedi. They forced me to write them a good review. However yesterday I was in the neighbourhood and thought of checking it out again for a massage. On the menu they have listed full body massage for 200k dong I asked for that. They were very pushy and wanted me to do another type for 300k d. I said I only have 200k on me. They were very forceful and didn't want to give me a massage for 200k. So I left without receiving any services. I don't recommend anyone coming here. I will take my business elsewhere and so should you. Dodgy staff. Stay away from this business.

I appreciate that this is partly my own fault- I usually go to well established, more expensive SPA's for waxing, but this advertised low prices with "expat" standards and had good reviews on trip advisor, so I mistakenly thought it would be ok.
Firstly. I had a half leg wax and a bikini wax.
Privacy- none. Laid on the bed with everything showing, the door wasn't locked- in fact it was open onto a hallway with Vietnamese men in the hallway going up and down the stairs. The door even had windows. People wandered in and out and put their face against their window, the approx10 year old daughter of the lady doing the wax was also present and looking at me. It was an awful experience. Other salons have a private room, where the door is locked and certainly no windows for people to look in.
Hygiene - double dipping all the way. Who knows who else had used that pot of wax? The toilet was covered in urine and the small bathroom pretty dirty. The surroundings were not up to the standards of other salons and was grubby and ill equipped.
The waxing : started optimistically (hot was :)), but soon become apparent the staff are not trained. Slapping wax onto my legs, failing to remove hair. When she finished I spent a lot of time trying to show her my legs were still in need of waxing as although she had slapped on (far too much wax) the hair had not been removed. When she finished I returned home- legs still covered in wax and hair, not the standard of other salons I have used in HCMC.
Bikini wax- well I wanted a bikini wax, but got a full wax. It was extremely painful- again, too much wax slapped on and a lot of random yanking. Then to my horror a cut-throat razor appeared (I paid for a wax not a shave???) and she started to shave instead of wax. Within 10 seconds had cut in places you shouldn't be cut- extremely unpleasant and nobody has ever tried this before during a waxing.She only looked bothered because I explained I was in pain, and then she got what looked like a cleaning rag from the grubby toilet (not tissue or hygienic wipe) and started to clean the blood, who knows what else had been cleaned with that cloth. she tried again with the razor until I told her "no".
In short, I have patches of hair around my bikini area and all over my legs, had many people admire the view during the process, been cut a few times, left feeling rather sore and have been left covered in wax all over.
I must be honest, I have never left a poor review before but it has left me feeling quite upset.
I have no doubt massages for the expat males are adequate as reviews suggest and in my experience of living here, most people don't now a good massage from a bad one, but definitely not a SPA for ladies services.
I guess I should have expected this from going somewhere in the backpacker area. Stay away.

Sorry to read that you had a bad experience in our spa, I'm very surprised about that because our girls are doing this job since years and they are supposed to know it. I'll ask them what really happened about this waxing and we'll fix any single detail you mentionned in your review.
About hygiene, I'm surprised to read a comment about it, regarding the fact that we are extremely strict about that question !
Anyway, your comment will help us to be better, because of course, we want our clients feel good in the AAA spa to see them come back again. So we'll do our best more and more to satisfy our customers.

I don't know why I have seen good reviews of this place. I found the table covered with a dirty towel. The massage was ok but not great, and they leave you covered with oil and no attempt to wipe it off after finishing. I left knowing I would not return.

Hi Erhed, I'm very sorry to read that your experience wasn't positive in our spa. Maybe you've been there during Têt and the girls were on the rush. Anyway it won't happened again because our girls are very well trained to bring satisfaction to our lovely customers.
As the boss, I'm asking to my staff to do their best in order to bring this spa to the best level with the best service. So I invite you to try another experience there with a 50 % discount. You will see our new staff : they are all very professional and I'm sure you will be more satisfied. Hope to see you again.

I went to get a 4 hand massage for 1 hour which was listed on the brochure as 300,000. I made sure it was 300,000 by asking the manager as well. When I was done with the massage, I picked a 200,000 tip and was going to give an additional 20,000 to each person making it a 240,000/ 300,000 tip. At the end of the massage, the manager changed the price on me to 350,000 even when I tipped 80% of the original price. I ended up paying more of tip than the actual massage when she changed the price.

Came here after reading the good reviews. Arrived at 6:10, so the massage couldn't have started till 6:15 at the earliest. It seemed so short I checked my phone as soon as it was done and it was 6:46! The quality was fine but so fast they had no time to really work on anything. When we went down to the lobby they argued with us and said maybe 5-10 min short and they could give us some money back. But she only just kept arguing and not getting any money. We just left as we didn't want to argue over it anymore. All they had to do was say sorry and offer to do a shoulder massage for 15 min and I would have been happy!

I checked with the girls why the massage was so short, it's the first time something like that happened, so I took a measure : for each massage, the beginning time is wroten on the reception book. I'm very surprised to read your comment but it's very helpfull to makes us do the best to make the customers happy. We propose you 50 % the next time you come to see us and you will check : at AAA spa, 1 hour is 1 hour, not less !

Went to this place for massage after tired traveling around the city. We been welcomed by Phuong Thuy Nguyen, she is very nice ,polite and patiently explained all the packages available. I took foot massage and the 60 minutes was excellent experience . I will recommend the place to anybody .

We are quite surprised at this review as it is totally contrast to our standard of service which has been recognized and reviewed here on trip advisor by several experienced reviewers. Thus, we doubted that this review has been written to another property or posted by our competitor rather to our AAA Spa. Here are some evidences which may prove for what we are saying.
- We checked all customers in that day but we did not receive any customers with Aroma massage services as a couple since per week.
- We always ask customers when they get paid in the reception’s place “HOW DO YOU FEEL OUR SERVICE, SIR/MADAM?” Normally, if customers have anything to complain they will tell us and if they are not happy so we ALWAYS make a discount or give some gifts for them so what you said that is not true from the service of the spa.
- After some bad reviews about mud mask with aroma massage service we fixed the problem since weeks ago and the skill of massage girls have been improved because we changed some better staffs before Happy Lunar new year so I have my staffs good at massage's skills and Shellac Nails and all clients wrote me happy text message by telephone, facebook,.. as you can read on tripadvisor too.
- We see you mentioned about the name of Cat Moc spa so it proves this review is faked.
- We found no record of this reviewer (this couple) at our Spa in Feb.
- We are quite certain that people would check and get enough information about a place that they would like to try the service in. As far as we concerned, this reviewer would surely be aware that we do not provide a bad service before placing a booking. Would they still come our spa to find themselves disappointed? We leave this for your own judgment.
- At this stage, we have sent a request to the Trip Advisor’s admin in order to verify the authenticity of this review. Pending on the outcome, we would like to drop some words here so that it does not mislead other readers. If you have question, please feel free to PM us at any of your convenience.

My daughter and I were so happy and AAA that we went back at the end of our trip and will go back again the next time we are in Vietnam! The girls there are so wonderful!
