I liked the old store better. This new store felt rather cramped and the selection seems less than before. I came here looking for handmade soaps which I loved from my previous visit at the old location, but found that there was not much variety now. But I would still recommend for first time visitors as the store still has some unique items not found elsewhere.

Yes I called this place "adorbs" as it's just that...short, chic and ultra adorable. And the staff is the same. I love this little place that had "just the right thing" for everyone on my list...ME.
Seriously, in the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City this place was just what I needed...quiet, cheerful and fun. I picked up a great little canvas bag, and to be honest I would have taken more things except I have luggage limitations and have more things to buy in other cities. If you have the time (or even if you don't ...MAKE it) and check out this trendy adorable shop. They even have home goods and clothes.

I highly suggest stopping in to the House of Saigon if you are in HCMC. The shop itself is calming and beautiful, and the products are absolutely wonderful. It is a great place to shop for high-quality gifts and souvenirs like tea, tea sets, clothing, handbags, and small trinkets. I did nearly all my souvenir shopping here for less than $80. The staff were also incredibly friendly, even offering me a sample of tea while I shopped!

The House of Saigon is a beautiful gift shop that includes souvenirs, Tea, wooden crockery and table wear and stone/porcelain crockery and table wear, stone coffee filter, women's clothing and art. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I visited this store three times while I was in Vietnam for a month in February. There is several levels, on the third level there is a lovely girl who allows you to try the teas that are on offer for sale there, the Jasmine Tea is DELICIOUS (I went home with three boxes) as is the Pandan Tea, highly recommend both trying and purchasing the tea. The fourth level is the Bizu Cafe, which is delightful! Again the guy who served us was very friendly and welcoming!
I would highly recommend anyone visiting HCMC to visit House of Saigon!
Great souvenirs, and homewares that are different to anything else you will find in HCMC!

If you like gifts and souvenirs that have been made with more care than mass produced Made in China stuff, this is the place for you. Located very close to Ben Thanh Market, stop by before or after visiting that hub and relax in the cool, tranquil environment. Staff are attentive and helpful and prices are fixed yet extremely reasonable. A sale is happening now until the end of Tet celebrations.

What a lovely store in the middle of district 1. A wonderful selection of amazing high quality gifts. Excellent service, not pushy at all. They let you take the time to browse. The tea sampling was a beautiful experience. Thank you.
