Part of me feels like a grumpy Victor Meldrew character complaining about the rip of swamp that is Bui Vin street in HCMC (sigh). People have compared this place to Koh San Road in Bangkok, however I was never the sort of person that enjoyed...More
The intersection right at start of the street has a bar on one corner with seats facing out onto the street. Plant yourself there, get a drink and watch the world go by - very loud music, hard to talk, so just watch. You'll get...More

No way! You can walk from Bui Vien Street to Ben Thanh! It wouldn’t even be a kilometer! If you want to get a taxi it would lucky to be 30,000d! You can have a hassle free, traffic free walk through 23/9 Park. Got no idea... More

thanks to all those who have given valuable information for my recent trip, sooo much appreciated. This is my 3rd trip to vn and still learning things. Never stops does it, I was with 3 newbies so it was interesting to see it all again in their eyes. We all appreciated the war museum, reunification palace and wandering the street of HCMC. I love Bui Vien street still and found it a little quieter than previous visits. Went to 118 Pasteur st as it was discussed on TA. we all had a terrific...More

Answers to your questions would be better answered from the company itself. Go to their website and look for an email contact. They also trade under their western name of Futa Buslines.
Tour itinerary scam? (3 Replies)
I bought a tour package in Bui Vien street (HCM), the itinerary looks about the same as the other tour agency. But during the sampan boat ride (the one where we wear the cone hat), I noticed we were actually rowing down a river behind people's house. What worst was that we make a U-turn suddenly and went back to the entrance. It look nothing like the photo everyone posted. I believed this is not the same as the real deal. We did not ride a horse cart or motor-powered car too. Many things...More
