Came here on a Sunday to get away from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh and didn’t regret it!

We went to Bình quoi 1 and had a little walk around, took some nice pics with the scenery and waited for the buffet to start. Buffet is on from 5pm-8pm only on weekends but we would recommend to get there early as it fills out by 6pm and people were rushing for the food at 4.55pm!
The buffet was extensive - my pics don’t do it justice. There were at least 10 different stations of food. Seafood, pho, roasted meats, soups, desserts and much more.. With most of them manned by staff who you could watch making the food fresh in front of you. We got to try food we wouldn’t think about ordering in a restaurant and got to tick off a lot of food that we had planned to eat here.

There was a guy there giving out free candy floss and another selling balloon animals for children which was nice.

We were the only foreigners at the buffet which meant we were surrounded by locals and it wasn’t a tourist trap like some reviews say. There was traditional music played when the buffet started and after, they gave out bingo sheets for a free game to all attendees. Everything was in Vietnamese but thankfully they wrote the numbers called out on a board at the front! Not sure what people won as it was in an envelope - we didn’t win sadly

Would defo recommend to come for a serene walk and the buffet :)

It's okay. I don't really like touring the city, so we went to Mui Ne and other areas after Ho Chi Minh City as a transit point. It feels more interesting than the city and has very beautiful original ecological scenery. The public transportation in the city is relatively poor, so you can download Grab in advance to make it much more convenient. It would be a wise choice to avoid rush hour travel because the city is very congested.

I really loved this place! Recommend to go at sunset timing (around 5pm), because (1) not as hot, (2) can enjoy the buffet dinner, (3) the sunset views are beautiful

There were live music playing when I went too, which was very nice. Staff also set some lanterns down the river so it felt quite special! It's pretty both in the day & night time

The distance from Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Quoi Village is about 40 minutes by taxi. The Corresponding application for taxis is Grab, a reliable application with very affordable prices and safe routes.
It is a beautiful place, small to walk around, shortly after entering you pay a small amount to access the buffet. There are many buffet kiosks to choose your meal. Soft drinks are not included in the price.
The atmosphere, calm, peaceful. Ideally, it is good to visit it from 5 pm and after sunset. The landscape is magical.

Our 6mths of marriage 28 Thang 1 & my beautiful wife Nga surprised me with dinner at this beautiful Bình Quới Village in HCMC. We met family here visiting from Hue, walked around at sunset & had some amazing photos & enjoyed the gardens & Têt Luna NY decorations. The food was amazing as well, many different great Vietnamese dishes to mix & choose from. Highly recommend as an escape to tranquility in Saigon. Also some great local music playing as well! Càm òn Bình Quới Village!

Me and my girlfriend went there for dinner. We took few photos of us around the lake and were asked by security for 300,000 VND to pay when taking photos with my phone. The security forced me and my girlfriend to leave the complex if we did not pay. Security tried to force us by pushing me and my girlfriend out of the park when refused to pay. No vietnamese were asked to pay, seems like another scam to get money from foreigners. We complained to the main office but were completely ignored. Its a shame that everywhere vietnamese e are trying to cheat foreigners. Its the worst experience I have every had in vietnam as a foreigner. I will never go back.. Beyond belief!!

I was a bit concerned when everyone said to go on weekend's to try the amazing buffet. I decided to go on a Monday and I'm so glad I did. This place is a photographer's heaven. Everywhere you turn there are picturesque settings and the Buffet was still going on. This is my first time in Vietnam and this buffet only served Vietnamese food which was perfect for me because there were over a hundred dishes to choose from. It was a taste of the country.... the cab ride from my hotel which was close to the airport was 140000 and the Buffet was 240000.

I found this place on accident, while substitute teaching at a nearby school. After a few months in the craziness of Saigon, I was overjoyed to find a peaceful green place within the city. There are two separate areas within the Binh Quoi Village complex; Binh Quoi 1 and Binh Quoi 2. The actual region where these are located is pretty cool in itself, with a completely different, far more rural feel.

Within Binh Quoi 1 is a large green space, which holds events or concerts and has a pretty impressive buffet featuring a plethora of foods from the Mekong Delta (the entire resort was built as a nostalgic ode to this region). Here it is breezy and quiet, free from the noise pollution of a million motorbikes. It will cost you nothing to take a walk around the resort, swing on the swings, sit on the docks overlooking the small mad-made river. There is often someone selling ice-cream, for a small free. Bathrooms & facilities are clean and nice.

Binh Quoi 2 is an actual resort, with lovely little intentionally rustic-looking cabins on stilts (rooms start at 360,000) above the river, connected by wooden boardwalks. There is a restaurant here overlooking the Saigon River and a swimming pool (which non-guests can use for 40,000 dong). The grounds (flowers, landscaping, ponds) are perfectly kempt. This place is also QUIET, especially during the week–which is exactly why I like it.

If you want to save money on a cab--you can catch a public bus (Bus 44) from the front of Ben Thanh market for 5,000 dong. The same bus will take you back. The trip takes 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.

I was fortunate to go with 3 Vietnamese friends. The travelling village was explained is a place for vietnamese from Ho Chi Minh City to go.

We were there for over 2 hours took many photos saw many sites new and old. Other visitors like us mostly vietnamese some non-vietnamese like me. Unfortunate we didn't stay for the 5pm buffet but Van is vegetarian she was hungry no vegetarian there.

I will defintely go back.

Now, you can take the water bus from the Bạch Đằng station to travel up the Sai Gon river to get to Binh Quoi.
Get ready to take a lot of pictures.
