This is still a functioning opera house with scheduled productions going on all year. You can climb up the steps and look at the posters, but if you want to see the inside, pls contact a travel agent or hotel concierge to attend a performance....More

We were lucky enough to get tickets to see a show by a troupe of gymnastics/dancers called PA on their last night in town. SImilar to Cirque de Soleil but using bamboo poles. Absolutely riveting and very comfortable!

At the time we visited the Opera House, we were prevented from peeking in since the theater was being prepared fir a show. Hence, our photos infront of the Opera House failed to capture its full beauty.

problem here being that they would not let in visitors to view unless you had purchased tickets to see a show. Seems rather crazy as this is listed on the tourist sights to see

This was worth seeing as it's an Interesting building architectural wise. The problem was that we only got to see it from the outside. Which just didn't make the trip out there worth while.

This is an interesting building. We had a tour in the daytime and went to a performance of a local circus/dance/performance group at night. The building is definitely of a fixture of time. The performance - meh.

We booked the show via our hotel. The show was quite expensive but was amazing. The opera house itself is a historical place. There was a tour around the opera house before the performance.

Would have loved to have seen the inside of this historic building but it was closed during our visit.

A beautiful building right in the heart of town. Gives an elegant and classy feel in this busy city.

Interesting building. Watching a show they offer you a short tour of the theatre. They also give you a free refreshment before the show starts.

We saw a man with a jacket, many in shorts, but all with footwear and no g-strings. Unless you perform in a circus show.
