I booked a treatment with my wife, and brought my 8 year old daughter along. I have to make a confession, I have previously dealt with this facility in a commercial relationship ( they purchased some equipment that I used to sell), but this was purely a relaxation weekend during a weekend trip. The staff in attendance did not know me, so there was no preferential treatment or special rates. My wife did the booking. I was just curious to see how the facility turned out after I saw it being built.

I work in the industry, as mentioned before, so I have benchmarks to compare to. I have to say the standards are absolutely amazing, as good as anywhere I have been in Asia, but the prices are almost laughable. The spa is luxurious, spotless, and well equipped. The massage was better than anything my wife and I had in Thailand, Singapore or Indonesia, meticulous and thorough. My wife commented on the facial, again all glowing reviews. I had an Indiba treatment for some pain and skin tightening (and no, I did not sell them this machine!). I have had multiple RF treatments before, all over Asia. The therapist was one of the best I encountered anywhere. Really good understanding of technique. I did sell them a wonderful Rejuvenation laser called Regenlite, and their prices on the website are 1/10th of the treatment anywhere else!

The environment is luxurious and staff is really caring. While my wife and I were vegetating, they took care of our daughter, let her float in a jacuzzi, and when she got bored, took her out and bought her some dinner!

Definitely a highlight of our trip to Saigon this time, and i cannot wait for my next trip to return!

I am very disappointed from Spa Et Cetera. The cosmetician was very unfriendly and not professional !! I had a appointment, they forgot it. I was waiting for over thirty minutes. I had some terrible face massage... I would never go there.

Luxurious at affordable price

Massage is always on my agenda for holidays. Sometimes you get good massage but sometimes the experience is really bad. In this spa, you can spend a whole day pampering yourself from head to toe at very affordable prices. I have tried their indiba for chronic pain, do a facial, manicure, pedicure and hot stone massage. I finished each treatment totally satisfied and a plus point is their invidividual shower room which provides clean towels. It makes you feel that you are in a 5 star hotel. It is certainly worth a visit if you are in town if you are in town.

Comfortable and Clean Spa

A few weeks ago I went with my boyfriend because the reviews were so flattering, however I was still skeptical. We were staying in district 1 so it was a really far distance, however the cab ride was worth it. We got a little lost on the way because the address wasn't regeresting on google maps so i called and the receptionist gave the taxi driver directions. When we got there we were greeted by English speaking staff. The manager or owner came and talked to us while we were waiting. She was completly fluent and made us feel very welcomed. The services that followed were also good! I got eyelash extensions, which I was VERY nervous about because I only had them done in Korea and the US with Novalashes. The woman who did my lashes didn't speak English but she had a translator to help ask me what my needs were. They also didn't have synthetic lashes, it was real hair- which I was super nervous about because I read horror stories about the hair that is used in Vietnam for lashes. The procedure took around 1.5 hours which is a little longer than usual but it was okay because the beautician did a really wonderrful job. She did a very meticulous job and I could tell she put a lot of extra effort into making them look as real as possible. At the time I was sort of worried and a little panic-y because she was doing a lot of cutting and I smelled the glue. I was really worried that I had made a terrible mistake and that my eyelashes were going to be glued together and I wouldn't know where to get it fixed. However, they turned out looking really meticulous and real. I really liked that they looked completly real, and my boyfriend told me looked better than the Novalash, and they lasted much longer than Novalash ever did. Another great part of my experience was that my boyfriend, who was getting a massage while the lashes were being done, was in the same room as me (we were given the option to be in the same room). It made me feel even more comfortable because he was next to me the whole time, and enjoying his time. All in all, I had a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely professional, the place was very clean and quiet. I haven't gotten a eyelash fill, though its been over a month, but I still get compliments on them. The only bad part about the experience was that it was so far from district 1. Of course, the spa isn't a luxury spa in the US so you can't expect that kind of super-relaxing aroma therapy everywhere dim lighted experience. However, the services were good, the spa was clean and most of the staff were professional and spoke English well.

Super clean, professional and comfortable spa
Dec 2013 • Couples
My husband and I spent a couple of hours at Spa Et Cetera on a Sunday afternoon, and it was bliss! The spa is very quiet - no outside noise, or noise from chatty staff. As I am pregnant, I opted for an hour foot massage and an hour foot treatment. Upon finding out I was pregnant, staff immediately identified that they would omit the pressure points (reflexology) on my feet, which is absolutely correct, and made me feel relieved and secure in that they'd know what's appropriate for a pregnant woman. The treatments themselves were great. Staff were very professional, and well organized. My husband's 2-hour massage was also very good - his therapist demonstrated good training and knowledge of massage, and applied the appropriate pressure. The spa itself is very modern and clean - and staff are professional, appropriate and have good English.

Ultimate spa experience
Nov 2013
I chanced upon this spa on TA and decided to check it out for myself following the excellent reviews.

While it was pretty tough to find the building as it was pretty far away from district 1, it was an absolute gem of a find.

Great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and get immersed in what I deem as the "ultimate spa experience". I have visited countless spas in Vietnam before and this ranks easily in the top 3.

Excellent service, serene ambience and professionalism rounded off an excellent experience. Well-equipped with Jacuzzis and even a gym room for fitness programs, I was blown away. Tips were refused by the massuer (very rare in HCMC), making the overall price extremely attractive.

Highly recommended for spa veterans and holidayers who are looking for a premium pampering.

Had a business trip to the bustling city of Ho Chi Minh, and while the roads and streets were congested and had a rustic charm to it, the place I enjoyed the most was Spa ETC. After walking the dusty streets and meetings I managed to squeeze in an appointment on the day I was scheduled to leave as I had an evening flight. The staff were friendly and professional; you had just the right amount of personal space and service. Being a spa junkie, I was at first skeptical about their wide range of massage options, thinking they would be a jack of all trades but master of none. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the full body massage, and the serenity you get when you step into the massage room. It was an unexpected transition from the streets of HCM into the Spa, from the dusty and noisy to the peace and quiet, it was quite an experience. Overall, I enjoy the rustic appeal of such countries but to be able to find such a gem in the midst of this city is truly an eye opener and it was an excellent way to cap off my trip. Perhaps the only regret I have was not being able to try out more of their services, but there's always another chance for another day. I highly recommend visiting this spa should anyone visit HCM.

Great Massage and Spa Treatments
Nov 2013 • Couples
Whilst not a veteran I have been to a number of Spa's around the world and I have to say the massage here is the best I have had in Asia thus far. We had a couples room. I had a 2 hour massage and my girlfriend a body scrub with whitening treatment and a one hour massage! Our therapists Thuy and Ngan were very courteous and professional. The standard of massage and variety of techniques used on me surpasses anything I have had before and I came from the massage feeling stretched, supple and rejuvenated!
Very impressed with service from start to finish, including a great special offer where if you have massages for two people the spa makes a contribution towards your taxi fare!
I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh!

Great stop before flight
Sep 2013 • Friends
I visited this spa after reading about it in TA. We ( and 2 others) were on a F & E trip to HCM for a few days and wanted to maximise the spa therapy.During my stay , I visited 2 spas in District 1 which was near our hotel- although the massage was ok, the lack of privacy and being in a room with both males and females did not go well with us. We then checked the spas listed in TA and decided to visit Spa Etc.
Being in a foreign place, we called the spa for an appt and directions and was pleasantly surprised when they informed that they could arranged to call the taxi and even have a scheme to subsidise VND50,000 for the fare.
We decided to try the scrub and massage and very happy to learn that the treatment were carried out in a private room complete with shower/ steam and sauna. We were given a twin bedded and a 1 bedded room tastefully decorated complete with therapeutic music and spa mood soft lighting~really a wholesome experience I must confess and value for $$$$. The whole therapy was really blissful and we even arranged a session before catching our flight in the evening the next day.
The spa is located about 15 mins from the airport so it was so convenient as we were afraid of being caught in the traffic in District 1. The staff was most helpful and helped arranged the whole timing to ensure that we do not miss our flight.
Even had time to do a quick hairwash and blow at the spa due to the steam and shower.Really nice job!!!
Tip : - A good stop before yr flight especially when you are done with shopping and want a place to relax. Call the staff and speak to the manager for arrangement- speak good english.
Check the website for more details if you want different treatments as they have all sorts including machines that print on your nails with over 500 designs and even photos of your loved ones!!!!.....just that we wished we had more time....We'll definitely be back...
Thank You TA for the really helpful reviews....Cheers!!!!
