Simple and seemingly out of place...
Nov 2016 • Couples
We were on a self-guided walking tour of Cholon (Chinatown) to visit the numerous pagodas and happened upon the Cholon Mosque. The building's exterior and lines were simple and seemingly out of place nestled amongst all the bright-colored and highly ornamental pagodas of Cholon. We have visited many fantastic mosques during our travels, and since it was starting to rain, we opted not to enter. But we found it interesting and were impressed that the Cholon Mosque had been built in 1932 during what should have been the worldwide Great Depression.

Quiet Mosque
Aug 2017 • Solo
It is always a privilege to enter a place of worship and observe the religion of others. Here is a peaceful mosque with several snack shops selling refreshments. I recommend the first on the left as that restaurant is air conditioned.

Good English is spoken at the Mosque, but there are no guidebooks. The mosque was built in 1932 and sits alongside a bustling market. There are two prayer halls - one for men and one for women. The mosque is simple in design. Don't forget to remove you shoes before going up the steps to the prayer areas. Be mindful of your dress.

Interesting to see, and a thank you to the mosque management for allowing non believers inside.

Cholon Mosque

This is situated in the Cholon - Chinatown area. We deliberately visited this as part of our walking tour of Cholon but you could easily miss it. Lovely architecture.

Nice architecture
Jan 2015 • Solo
In the midst of the Cholon (Chinatown) area, it's fascinating to find this mosque. The architecture is lovely - it's a little under-stated compared to some though so you may need to look twice to notice it.

Went by accident
Feb 2015 • Friends
We were riding a bour bike and saw a mosque and thought that we would stop by. Glad we did. We were had a chance to perform prayer and eat (there is a restaurant) The Mosque was nothing a major attraction, but it is pleasant to see a mosque tucked in nearby Chinatown area. Not a must go but if you there worth a quick stopover.
