Right in the center of District 1 is this beautiful walking street that runs all the way up from the river. No scooters are allowed on the path or boulevard which is a huge PLUS. Just found this by accident. Plan to walk there again...More

This is very open albeit cemented space/square in built for pedestrians/rallys/demonstrations/kind of close to the Ca River. However, there is on-going construction as the much needed subway/mass transit system.

We visit there but about thousands people are watching football show to support their country on several screens. Statue are covering because they scare people destroy it, so we can't take photo anywhere. Sadly, we also watch our country(Malaysia) lose their team (Vietnam) at football...More

a nice place to walk as motorcycles are restricted from trafficking the pedestrian walking area. Spent a lot of the time in Ho Chi Minh City dodging motorcycles that are everywhere and almost run one over if not careful when walking on the sidewalk.

Go during the evening. Vibrant, happy place with different coloured lights and a water feature. Lots of people around having a good time. Very clean also.
