This pagoda is a little bit out of the centre and may require a taxi to get you there. Its worth a visit as it is a fully functioning temple where followers come to offer their prayers, many of them clutching several joss sticks. Thus...More

If you like temples, this is a nice one to visit. Slightly away from the main tourist sites, but a taxi or Uber is cheap and easy.

After visiting many temples and statues throughout Vietnam we were slightly disappointed at the Emperor Jade Pagoda. It is a good idea to make sure you take a guide or guide book with you so that you can appreciate the different rooms.

For a change from the ruins of Angkor Wat to see a temple with a lot of local devotees was a relief ! Early morning is probably the best time to visit..Do not forget to have a look at the turtles (on the side pool)...More

Perhaps we were expecting too much but found Jade to be very underwhelming. It's a temple you can walk through in about 10mins and isn't very well maintained... we walked through rooms which had cardboard boxes stacked in the corner and old fans etc etc....More

The pagoda is worth a visit. Walk through all rooms, they are all different. You will surely be witness of Buddhist veneration. You should be dressed decently.

This is a "functioning" shrine in which locals are in prayer continuously. It is a magnificent opportunity to visualize these activities in a glorious setting.

I wore shorts and had no problems. Although it was a tad chilly at the end of December.
