A Green Jewel in the City
I loved coming across this wonderful park with its tall trees and flowers. A very lovely, well maintained park right in the heart of all the hubbub of great city. I noticed people young and old as well as children enjoying this verdant oasis. A very good place to relax and unwind, watch people or take out a book. Across the street are many coffee shops and bistros

Lovely park for walking about, excercise or just laze about
Parks in Vietnam especially HCMC / Saigon are well maintained and worth a visit. plenty of park benches, picnic gazebos, Exercise equipment, Children's play area, Very clean toilets. Clear even walking paths etc. Walking is a pleasure here and people are very friendly.

Either a peaceful oasis of filled with a flourish of flowers for "Tet".
We walked though this park on the way to the Market nearby. Normally a quiet interlude from the busy traffic but just before the "Tet", New Year celebrations it filled with flowers...orchids, potted flowering plants, bougainvilleas etc. in a marvelous display of colour.

My friend and I grabbed some lunch and sat in the park on our final day killing a few hours in the sun before our flight home. We are really approachable guys and love to interact with the locals, saying Hello and Good morning to anyone and everyone. The response from the Vietnamese locals was mind blowing. Within 10 minutes we were surrounded by students from a local university who were all studying English. I found myself giving an English lesson for three hours to the students. It was an awesome experience, something I will never forget. One of the best moments during my month tour of Asia. I have to add that the Cambodian, Thailand and Laos people are just as nice and we had excellent interaction with them. Sensational

This review is quite late. We passed by the Cong Vien Van Hoa Park after visiting the Independence Palace. It is a convenient place to meet locals; you see lots of people, mostly students, hanging around here.

We love the tall trees and flowers here. Quite a well maintained park, we can see many people both young and old exercising and spending their leisure time here. A very good place to relax and rewind from the city noise.

This place is excellent respite from the beating sun as it’s shaded by a canopy from the trees.

It can even get quite cold sometimes as the air seems to blow through. It’s a nice park with exercise machines and the area is well-kept.

Lots of joggers around.

It is located just out of the busy part of ben thanh market. it is in district 1 close to the Independence Palace.

It is a place you can just relax and enjoy the greeney and cool and shaddy area of HCM. You will find plants and flowers all over the place and it very well maintained.

You will find both the young and old relaxing on chairs all along the park. away from the noice and heat of HCMC. If you feel tired you can just relax at this place and just read a book.

This is a huge park behind the Reunification Palace, where the Water Puppet Theater is. If you are taking a walking tour of the city it's a great place for a picnic and a rest in the shade and away from the noise and traffic. It's not far from the Ben Thanh market so grab a takeaway from the food stalls and head over to the park. I was here during lunch and planned to visit the Palace when it reopened in the afternoon (it's closed during lunch) but enjoyed the park and walking around the area so much I didn't make it to the Palace that day.

I loved walking through this park. It takes you away from all the pollution a bit and there are some monuments and little areas to surprise you. A great place to find art, history and to just simply relax. People also exercise here. Great if you're craving some greenery in a vivid and loud city.

So many different plants and birds to see, persons excercising their very different martial arts, no mopeds allowed which is a welcome relief from the chaotic streets surrounding the park.
Great place to sit, reflect on life in general and watch the world go by...
