I like to consider myself a tea connoisseur, or at least a connoisseur in training. Finding a tea shop that's dedicated to tea is hard to come by in Vietnam. Most places are coffee shops that sell tea on the side. Royal Tea House is the opposite. It is truly a TEA house. The store specializes in Jasmine tea, but they have a lot of other teas in stock as well: oolong, tien gwan ying, green teas, black teas, etc. The teas, of course, are mostly Vietnamese, but they have some Chinese and Taiwanese teas to try too. Oh, and that's something else I should mention, you are allowed to try the teas before you buy them. I've been here several times, and not once was I ever pressured to buy anything. In fact, when I bought a yixing clay pot from them, the owner even told me, "Don't buy it unless you really want it."

As mentioned before, they also sell authentic yixing clay pots from both China and Taiwan. They also sell porcelain tea sets as well as clay ones. Gaiwans, strainers, tea scoops, they'll have it. Any tea accessory any tea lover could ever want.

The owners told me that they visit China and Taiwan twice a year to supply their shop. I came in today to try a nice quality green tien gwan ying from Taiwan. It was really nice. As I mentioned before, you can try most teas before you buy them at this shop. The ladies that own this shop are very knowledgable in tea, and they're willing to share that knowledge to their customers.

I can go on and on about this tea shop. They just opened their shop not too long ago, and I wish them all the best. Come check them out!

The only place where you can buy a real and quality lotus tea and oolong tea. This is café-tea house with very nice design. An delicious tea and various cocktails with tea. High level service.
If you want to bring a tea from Vietnam to yourself or as a gift, it is the only good place in Saigon, where you can buy a tea! Dont even look for any other tea house!
This is a family tea house, which sells tea for more than 50 years! They have their own tea plantations and excellent quality of the tea!
I do strongly recommend this place for anyone who appreciates quality!

This is a real tea house as you would expect it. We were invited by one of the owners to try some tea and ended up trying various tea blends and getting lots of useful explainations about tea. Unfortunately you cannot buy overseas but I will come back to get more of that authentic Viatnamese tea. Just a perfect experience!

While I will be honest and say I didn't enter this place, the experience I had was worth mentioning for the sake of the staff members. While walking by here one day it started to rain really heavily. The staff invited me on to their terrace to cover and get out of the rain, which I really appreciated. Not only that, but they offered me to sit at a table and were very polite and understanding. Without asking, I was presented with a cup of flavored tea as I sat on the terrace as the rain continued for well over 30 minutes. There was no question of payment as they just smiled and said I was very welcome. I thanked them on leaving and would really like them to know how much I appreciated their warm hospitality. Fantastic warm and friendly staff and they are a credit to this restaurant.

its nice to see an actual tea house in Ho Chi Minh City. The tea process is done the right way! If you have time to enjoy an afternoon delight, I recommend coming here for tea. In house tea master will serve you freshly brewed tea. On the go, they have all the assorted iced tea we are ascustomed to. My personal favourite is the Peach Iced Tea!

Stumbling upon this oasis directly opposite the cathedral in Saigon, we ordered a couple of refreshing looking iced teas from the english menu. I remarked at how well the lady who served us spoke english, 'I'm from California' she remarked - ouch, not a great start from me. Though fear not, I was soon back on track and receiving tips on how to excite my order even more - adding some apple pops. These were small gummy balls with sweet and sour apple juice inside. Their addition made my passionfruit tea even more delectable.

The shop i lovely and clean with seats inside and out and the price is very reasonable - about 30k dong per drink. We returned on our final visit to Saigon before flying home. The best cafe/ iced drink experience anywhere in Vietnam.

As a resident of Hanoi, passionate about health and with a relatively new interest in specialty teas, I came across this gem of a Tea House on Pham Ngoc Thach. Upon entering I was greeted with a smile and the scent of some wonderful aromas. Such is the experience of fine teas and the artistry of tea preparation. And I certainly wasn't disappointed, as I sat with my gracious Vietnamese host and owner, Krystal, who went to extraordinary lengths to prepare a variety of teas and explain their background and "culture".
Their specialty - Jasmine tea is exceptional, as is the Spring and Winter Oolong teas from Taiwan. Though it doesn't stop there. The intriguing aromas of their other specialty highland teas caught me off guard with their memorable, "tender" and earthy flavors. The key to their teas is in their patience and manufacture, to bring high grade teas to the market, which they've successfully been exporting for decades.
With an array of fine tea sets and accessories for sale, I added to my collection with a fine porcelain tea set from Hong Kong, as well as an assortment of fine teas to bring home.
Krystal, thank you for an extraordinary experience and delightful introduction to Ho Chi Minh City, and the friendliness and charm that is characteristic of of your beautiful city. For those of you tea experts, enthusiasts and newbies, reward yourself with a visit to Royal Tea Hose by Tiendat. You'll regret missing the tranquil experience if you don't!

This is so convenient, right around the corner from my office. This has been a daily stop for me Monday through Friday during the work week. Unfortunately, I can only say that I have had the same thing every time I’ve visited; iced black lemon tea. It is great, very refreshing; although it seems a bit expensive although it is comparable to any other tea houses I have tried. The atmosphere is nice, comfortable chairs and decent WiFi. The staff is friendly and now, always remembers my daily order. Well worth the visit if you are in the neighborhood or walking by.

Cute little tea house along a nice walking route near the cathedral. I stopped by on my way to the War Remnants Museum to grab something cool and take a break from the heat. Pleasant inside with chic decor. Fair prices and staff speak fair English too :) Friendly workers and decent wifi. They have hot, iced, and milk tea. I got honey milk tea. Nice and sweet but with enough real tea flavor. Chewy boba. Yum!

We initially walked past the shop as the signage is not immediately obvious from the street. Look for the big green sign saying tourist information and service centre, as that is where the tea shop is located. There is seating inside and outdoors, we sat inside for the air con. There is a good range of hot tea and ice tea to try, as well as coffee. The spring oolong tea was very good. Also a range of tea pots and cups to look at, and you can also buy their loose leaf tea to take home with you. Great place to stop by if you like tea!
