    Great shopping place
Very good place to get factory knockoffs and good imitations of branded sportswear and winter clothes. Best time to shop is between 9-10am on any morning. It's not so crowded and saves a lot of hassle bargaining. If you're the first customer of the day, the seller will give you a decent discount, no need to ask. Just be prepared that some sellers will ignore you. Go upstairs for a quieter look around.

Organized chaos perfect for shopping fans
Chaos but in a good way! Lots of stalls selling items and almost like a maze of corridors. Great fun to haggle with the friendly sellers, though they are quite forward in asking you to purchase from them.

    Bargain hunters dream
Must see if you are clothes shopping in Saigon. Try not to buy at the first place you see, if you like something just ask "How much" and then move on without bargaining. The vendor may offer you lower if you walk away, or may not, but I would recommend looking at several different stalls and trying different markets before purchasing. A good strategy is not to take any cash with you (although most will take card too). You will find prices for the same items will vary hugely depending on which market you go to and how much traffic they get. Try going to the second level and see what price they charge there, I found it to be lower than what the stallholders downstairs were asking.

    Bargain Bargain and Bargain.
There are tons of shops selling similar knockoff stuff. I would strongly recommend bargaining with the vendors. The usual show-me-the-money trick doesn't work wonders now so I suggest go with a friend. The friend would be your "wingman" to flag you off if you cannot achieve your desired pricing. 90% of the time, they will just give in with both parties win. Also, beware of potential pickpockets and scam artists outside the building to "clean and repair your shoes" or those cyclos.

Saigon Square Shopping Destination in HCMC
Been at Saigon Square a few times to shop for items to gift my family when I travel back home. It is a popular shopping Mall in HCMC, Vietnam and receives lots of foreign visitors. It is a busy atmosphere with a wide variety of trendy clothing from famous brands, shoes and souvenirs. I like that I can negotiate the prices and potentially get great deals on the purchases. The downside is that it can get very crowded especially during special holidays and weekends. Also the quality of some item's can be questionable hence the need to be careful and cautious before making a purchase. I still go there because it offers a variety of affordable items and am always sure my family members and friend will be overjoyed with the gifts.

    branded clothes and many items
his is a popular shopping mall in HCM, you can find many branded clothes, shorts, hats, sunglasses, watches, shoes here. you may query its quality, but i think it is ok,and most important is the price ,it is affordable price, and you can bargain here too..i first visited this mall in 2017, that time i bought some T shirts and sports shorts. when i had a nine days trip to HCM last year, on 3 Dec, i came here for shopping, it was my last day in HCM, a bit rush, i just walked around the mall, and found that i don't have time to do shopping, so i didn't buy anything, and left,so sad, will come here again next time

    Golf Gear!
If you are looking for great priced golf gear then this is the place to go. Lots of other well priced clothing, jewellery and so much more. Well worth the trip. Most of this Mall is air conditioned which is nice.

Great buy with super low prices
Just bought some souvenirs and north face bags (fake but high quality) here. Easy to haggle, as a person in the Philippines, haggling is our expertise. Want to learn how I did it? First, ask for the price then cut it in half. If they refuse, go somewhere else then repeat the process. You can even haggle more than 50% off if you tell then you'll buy more items in their store. 😉 👌

Same same as Ben Thahn but air con!!
Thank god for air conditioning!!! I’d take this market over Ben Thahn any day. It’s just as overwhelming they have everything Ben thahn does but in an air conditioner centre! Don’t believe the reviews about fixed price it’s very few and far between stalls that have a fixed price probably every 1/5 stalls have fixed price. They will barter and haggle just like at the larger market. Seriously I was happy to pay $5 more for everything if it meant I got harassed and haggled in air con!

Do a little good and don’t bargain that hard.
I know every review said to bargain with st least 50% for what they ask for.. but if you feel that the item is of quality and it’s worth more then what you are paying for.. why push so hard. I mean the items you find there is amazing and the people are generally friendly. Let them make a little more if it doesn’t break the bank for you. Just my personal POV.

Went shopping at Saigon square downtown for some really good bargains. My wife was looking for dresses which she found in ample supply. I found some very nice keen Sandals in my size and negotiated a price about half what I would pay at home , wow. There were very few customers there so you can find some good deals now due to the lack of tourists.

If you like BKK and the idea of buying more for 'wholesale prices" then this place will be a place you might like to visit.
MUST bargain down by 30-40% then work your way up. Walk away if you are not comfortable as the next buy with the same items is often less than 10 stores down.

Great place to go bargain shopping in Ho Chi Minh City for fakes or factory flawed goods. When shopping there make sure you look for the right quality as you’ll see many things that look the same, but it vastly different prices and quality. There are grade 1, 2 and 3 quality of copies. Make sure you go after grade 1, you will pay a little bit more but the quality is much better.

We found the quality of goods a little better than in the Ben Tran markets but the prices are a little bit higher. Always good fun to bargain but if you are going for bargaining go to Ben Tran markets

Avoid the Famous and over priced vendo in Cho Benh Thanh.. and go straight here. The price and quality of item and clothes are so much better here too. Cho Benh Thanh is a tourist trap and vendor isn't willing go down from their inflated prices.

Normal market with tons of knock-off products and souvenirs. A fun little walk through to get out of the heat. Definitely bargain for everything. You shouldn’t have to pay more than 60% or so of their price. Note that it is across the street from the mall.

More interesting market in terms of prices than that of Ben Than where you should not hesitate to negotiate prices and even break them in two straight away because the locals think you are millionaires!! If you can achieve this you are doing much better business. Don't forget, this is a market where you will be constantly solicited so stay calm and smile, that's the charm of this type of place!!
This one is located the same as on the main BdV of the Ben Than market, just about 3 to 400 meters on the sidewalk opposite, it makes a whole entrance angle..

Shopping mall for clothes, bags, watches and many other small shopping.
A place more recommended than Ben Thanh were sellers are very aggressive and try to intensively pull you to their stands.
At Saigon Sq. sellers are more mannered and peaceful and only "attack" when you are interested.
Watches and purse are expensive to be imitations (100-150 euros).
