This is a very busy and active park where many locals congregate daily to exercise and play sports. Many sports are played in this park and there is always activities such as dancing and aerobics all around the park also. There are a number of children's play areas, an outdoor free gym and many places to sit and have a... More

Went there for a walk and also to see what it was like. It was a disappointment. We did get a walk in but there was very little I the park. Maybe later in the year it may be more colourful. Found a very good enclosed market on way back towards Presidents Palace.

This park has like 25 poke stops and a poke gym. There is almost always a few lures going. There are some "interesting" statues to see. It's a nice little park to walk through but mainly for pokemon go. There is 2 free toilets and 2 pay toilets.

Really, an attraction? Asian cities do do very nice flower and tree displays and I expected to spend some time strolling through a decent size park filled with flowers and good displays of trees pruned trees in shapes. there were some but overall not worth it even if this was only 250 metres from the hotel.

Most people dont walk in HCM, I think its a pity. Its true that crossing streets can be complicated in some parts of the city, but there is no better way to discover a city. This park and those that follow it create a green road that crosses a big part of the city center. Just make sure its not... More

An interesting place to get a glimpse into the locals lifestyle. Locals were having a leisurely game of badminton at every free corner they could find. The middle-aged folks would play badminton 3vs3 (you really can't see this commonly elsewhere!), other locals were practicing kung fu and some others learning aerobic dances. We had breakfast at the cafe in the... More

If you are keen to see how the locals keep fit and exercise, schedule in an early morning visit to Tao Dan Park. It doesn't have to be a super early 'affair' - I turned up at 8am and witnessed smaller groups practicing Tai Chi, sword dancing and in a particular part of the park, working out on outdoor fitness... Not the best park I have seen – it is split by a major road - coming from downtown the left hand side has a children’s play area and also a exercise area with some simple mechanical equipment – this side was in the process of being set up for the lunar New year celebrations later this month – to... this park is well maintained. you can see that the trees are old enough and still look healthy. during tet, they also set the place up with a number of beautiful flower arrangements. even on a hot day, it is a pleasure to walk in this park because of the shades from the trees.
