Went on a four-day cycle of rural Vietnam - Mai Chau to Ninh to Binh (south west of Hanoi) as part of a multi-adventure trip in the country. The cycling was easy through rural and pastoral rice fields and small villages which provided a true glimpse of the life of a typical family who resides in the country-side in Vietnam. Our guide, Quyen, was a history and tourism major in university and provided outstanding service as well as perspectives on Vietnam's mostly fascinating past. Quyen reviewed the daily itinerary with us and made modifications based on our preferences, mostly related to not cycling through the heat of the day. He made sure we were settled in to each 'homestay' / hotel and ordered foods based on our likes/dislikes. My travel companions and I reflected on the insight that we in the 'West' could learn a lot about customer service from the Vietnamese. The cycle holiday was very reasonably priced with bike / helmet rental, lodgings and food included. The cost of drinks at meals was extra. We enjoyed Vietnamese beer at a remarkably low cost. The bikes were Trek of average condition. I recommend Indochina Tours based on excellent guiding and the overall high quality/value provided.

Luckily, we're so much grateful to take the chance and meet the great team from Indochina cycling tour composed of a knowledgeable guide cyclist Mr Vibol who makes you always find nothing to be a problem; a friendly and thoughtful guide Mr Sene, who had done his very best to cheer us up all the time; and the supportive drivers who always provide cold drinks/fresh fruits, care about our feelings and keep us energetic all along the journey from Bangkok to Siem reap.
The routes are pretty well organized and we could never imagine how amazing it is to explore both countries by bike, especially the part of cross road biking along the south gate of Ankor Wat.
Also, the most highlighted point for me would be the way to experience the real life of Cambodia locals which inspired us how we should treasure what we have.
That's lots to tell actually, you'd gonna visit their website and start your own adventure with such a brilliant team: Indochina cycling tours! We highly recommended them to all cyclists with no doubt.
The last but not the least, I'll once again take this chance to express my special thanks to the whole Indochina cycling team on behalf of our 11peoples 'Hong Kong eat & ride' team, and we look forward to another adventure somewhere with Indochina team in the near future.

Recently we had an excellent adventure from Saigon to Hanoi.
We cycled part of the way, were in an air conditioned van, overnight train & overnight junk boat.
We had a brilliant time, some of the hills in the heat were harder than we thought they would be but our guide, Mr Sene was brilliant and when we had enough we jumped into the van.There was plenty of ice cold water and snacks. Our driver was very supportive as well. We had a lot of laughs with Mr Sene and highly recommend him as a guide, very friendly, happy and thoughtful, nothing was a problem. The food, accommodation and the people of Vietnam were all great. The train was an experience but quite comfy and air conditioned. The communication from when we first booked the trip and after we have came home has been very good. Would highly recommend this trip and the company to anyone considering visiting Vietnam.

Actually I was on a motorbike tour! Just me, guide and two Honda 250 dirt bikes. I only had a day and only specified "some temples". We started out at 7.30 am and were clear of the city in about 20 mins. Spectacular scenery at every turn, a fantastic lunch in a hammock amongst the locals. In the afternoon we tried some good back roads, paddy fields and some bumps. Its been 10 years since I was on a motorbike so while conditions varied I never felt out of the depth. We even got a puncture in the middle of nowhere but Mr Tin had it fixed in 15 minutes. A magnificent day, brilliantly run.

As of late finished a multi day trip from Saigon to Siem Reap. I have given it a superb rating and that is to a great extent because of two reasons. Right off the bat the superb experience of going through Vietnam and Cambodia.

If you are interested in the cycling and trecking in the Indochina region then Laos cycle tours are definitely one of the best options.
