I just got my hair cut at Q Spa and Salon a couple of days ago, and it was such a lovely experience I wanted to give them a recommendation! Firstly, let me say I was very nervous about getting a haircut here in HCMC because 1. I've been living in Asia for a while, and it's hard to find hairstylists who know how to cut fine, thin hair like mine, and 2. I read some awful stories from other salons here, about people being really rude and mean. Let me say that in every way, this was one of the BEST salon experiences I've ever had, and I didn't need to worry!

Alan K was my stylist, and he was great. I was getting a style that was totally new for me and was nervous about it, but his professional style and expertise were very reassuring. He told me how he'd cut it and how it would look on me compared to the picture I had, and answered all my questions. He was lovely to talk to during my haircut, and it turned out better than I imagined! I absolutely recommend Alan if you go here!

For the salon itself, it's lovely and relaxing inside, and prior to my cut I got a head and leg massage. All the ladies who work there were very nice and professional, and overall I had a great experience here. I have only good things to say about this place! Thank you Alan! :)

Not sure why anyone would rave about this one when there are so many better choices around in town. Did Q massage + pedi spa and the total cost is marginally cheaper than what I pay for my package for similar services back in Singapore. Go somewhere else for better rub down and services in clean and soothing environment at much lower price - eg MiuMiu Spa around 100m away from Q spa

We went to this place for our daughter to have a hair wash and blow dry by reading the reviews l.
She also decided to have a facial. As we were waiting for her we thought why not we will also have a 60 mind massage.
My wife massage started 5 mins after me but she finished before me!
But her massage was good.
My back and lower back massage was very good but then when the masseuse was doing my calf’s she was a bit strong so I told her to be a little soft. Due to communications she thought I said I am ticklish so she did not do my foot massage. Also they were using the same oil bottle so there was lot of time we were just lying down.
We were not offered any water or drink before or after the massage.
I did give my feedback to the front desk and they said I could have a 20 mins foot massage. But I was not in the mood.
My daughters hair cut and wash and straightening was excellent but in order to sell more they told her her hair was dry and not good. My daughter was very upset also last minute they increased the price as her hair was long.
The prices are not cheap and after having massages in Hoi An and Hanoi for half the price we had better service, drink of water and tea.
So we are not recommending this place for massage and warm to check and confirm price before.

We read good reviews of this salon and expected it to deliver but I felt that the hairdresser was rushing through the cut and did not even want to have a final check after the drying (which was not done by him). I had to request the hairdresser to have a final look as the hair length was uneven. And even then, it was only a brief check and I had to tell him which parts to fix. The salon was not even busy. It was only me and my friend there.

For a cut that cost VND$550,000 I expected it to be a very decent haircut. I could have gotten a better cut in Melbourne for the same price. Also, when we went to pay, the lady told us there is an additional 10% "tax" charge on the service. She did not tell us this when we asked her about the price at the start. I am not too sure whether the tax is legit or not but be careful if you go there. In my opinion, not worth it! I don't even need a massage during the hair wash I just want a decent haircut which was not delivered professionally. The hairdresser was also flirting with the staff during the process.

When you arrive they tell you the price is going to be 17$ but you end up paying double, who knows why... What's more they cut my hair not straight at all and I had to argue to make the hairdresser realizing his mistake! He ended up cutting 3 more centimetres to make it right, and didn't even apologize. Got of there disapointed and feeling almost robbed for such a poor service. Even if the manager and the massages were nice, I got in for a haircut and the result was not what I had ask for. Really not the best. Go somewhere else

Best haircut in Saigon and probably in Vietnam.
Make sure you get Alan to cut your hair. I don't know if there is anybody else, but Alan is the man.
He does not just cut you hair - he understands your hair texture, which way they grow, he asks you questions to make sure he catches exactly what you want. He's just a pro like I'd never seen before.

The shampoo phase is fine because you get a free quick massage, but make sure you stipulate your water temperature and how thorough you want the lady's hands and nails on your scalp.

I was there and saw every thing, first you come with the girls bragging and showing of in front of them, each one of you had the price list ,with all details and prices, when you invite the girls of course they choose the best service, the manager explained that they have tow kinds of facial, collagen and La Prairie and La Prairie is almost double price of the collagen, but the girls chose La Pirairie any way, you came to the Salon at 2pm and the girls left at 6 pm, the girls were very happy and want to come back. when it was the time for paying you behaved very badly using bad language how ever the girl tried to be polite and explain to you but you didn't want to see the details and telling her that you are going out the door in 30 seconds if she doesn't give you a better price, next time you invite people first check the total price personally instead of accusing people of being thieves. You say that you have been visiting the Salon for many years, so ask your self why do you think they try to rip a regular client off, and the products they have, they pray triple the price of what they sell in Europe.

Need a haircut. Staying at IC Saigon and it's a 5 minute walk to this shop. Skeptical at first as there's not much review online but it says haircut is good. At the door see tatooed man built of a kickboxer eying at me. Turns out a brave smile do wonders, the kickboxer is my hairdresser Tony and he has 10+ years experience and gave me an excellent haircut and very good value for money. He's actually quite shy and smiles happily when I tell him I fully trust his expertise and no need to ask me how I want the cut to be. And he is not in any rush and he is attentive to details and only let me go when he his happy with his end design (30 minutes). Also tried out the massage - hardware, room was clean and professional, quality is good.

Intriguing experience to interact with the humble locals. They deserve our every respect and dont raise your voice at every suspicion of being cheated. Often of the times is language barrier.
