We booked a private tour to Mekong Delta with my husband at this company for the next day on our vacation. We were amazed by warmest welcome from staff and very clear explanation all program of the trip, very patience and professional, my husband decided to take another route because we wanted to avoid all shop and disturbing things. The next day was totally amazing, we enjoyed so much and learned living style as traditional of the native in this area. Thanks to our guide Tung, he gave us so much information and also asked permission of one family allow us to visit their house, see their orchard and enjoyed their fresh pomelo which was cut from the tree at that moment. We also visit some factory, and ate so much fruit from our program and Tung's invitation. Me and my husband were very happy to try milk fruit for very first time. We totally agreed that Tung got much knowledge and had passion on what he did and this company arrange very nice route for us. In our opinion, if you travel to Vietnam, you should come to this company if you need a great service for your trip and if you want a great tour guide, ask Tung go with you.

We did the floating market / Mekong delta day trip on 31 December as a private tour and really had a great and very informative day. The driver was one of the best we had in Vietnam so far and our guide "Thrung" was fantastic: excellent English, very motivated and friendly, being able to answer all of our questions about country, history etc, building up a great relationship with our 6 year old daughter from scratch. all in all the day was a mixture of standard tourist programm and individual programm. The fact that we had booked it as an individual trip gave us the necessary flexibility to avoid spending too much time with other, larger groups in the same place. And yes, the lunch was awesome, especially the spring rolls from fried elephant ear fish which have been made directly at our table were stunning.

First we did one day tour through VietJourney then came back and booked many tours after. I talked to Huong and believe she is the owner. She is super nice, beautiful and an excellent advisor. She was both personable and knowledgable with almost perfect English with very cute accent. We really felt she was one of the best guides we have had over the years. We shoped around and found that she gave us best deals ever. Some deals can be as low as 20$/person. The SUV vehicle was new and luxurious. The driver was also super nice. In short Vietjourney met our every desire. I suggest you should take all "One Day Trip" tours. Save your time, money and it worths your last penny through VietJourney. Thanks VJ again.

My terrible experience with Vietjourney was unexpected given the generally positive reviews of this travel agency. They arranged a 4 day/3 night trip for me from Ho Chi Minh City to Hue, Hoi An, and Da Nang, including flights, hotels, ground transport between cities, and a variety of guided tours (Hue Citadel, Marble Mountains, My Son, etc.). I am not sure whether the problems on my trip were due to Vietjourney's incompence or whether there were some elements of a scam (or both). Most aggravating and disappointing was that two out of the three hotels had no record of my reservation and tried to push me off to one of their sister hotels.
While I appreciate that Vietjourney acknowledged these hotel issues (after I complained) and refunded a small amount of money for the pre-paid airport transfer that never showed up and the scheduled lunch that was not provided, I cannot reccomend even considering Vietjourney for your travel arrangements given the substantial amount of my vacation time that they wasted. It was also very unprofessional that Huong, my primary contact at the agency, blamed all of these problems on another employee, Linh. There are numerous more highly rated travel agencies in HCMC. Try one of those.

Mekong Delta is a must see when you stay in Saigon, so we've chosen this one day trip to the Cai Be floating market. The location is not too far from Saigon (2 hours drive instead of 3,5 hours of Can Tho) and price was affordable, so we chose the Private Tour. The trip encompassed a visit on small boat, orchard garden, vietnamese music, floating market and a rice candy factory. All the day we were fed with fruit and traditional vietnamese dishes and the guide, Thomas, speaks an excellent english and provided insight information on vietnamese history and traditions. The tour was fun and really helpful to understand vietnamese culture, I would definitely suggest to take it!

I was interested on a round trip through the Mekong-Delta and Cambodia. The Linh ( the travel agent in Hotel-lobby) gave me really good informations. She was really helpful and the trip was organized so well that I want to reccoment you to travel to VN, enoy the tour.

That was my second time in Vietnam and i went with my family, the first trip i went for business and i didn't have enough time for travelling. When i was walking with my wife downtown, I saw a travel agency near by, so i took quick stop just thinking about what type of trip i should take, but one lady at desk was too kind and her enthusiasm help me to pick a trip very fast so that I booked a tour 3 days 2 nights to Mekong and took speed boat to Phu Quoc Island. My family were surprised with quality of our trip. First day we visit very nice island and enjoy much fruits and nice local foods. We were ridden along fishing village to see how people raising fish, my son love to step on those fish farm taking a look but that prohibited by the owner, but luckily,we had Tung as our tour guide for the trip. He made very quick conversation with the owner and we were accepted to visit the fish farm - very nice guide and the owner too. Lately, we went for home staying at "Ba Kiet", more than 100 years old place and warmest welcome from the lady whom owner of the house, later we enjoyed very nice dinner were prepared by her and taking a little about history of the house. Waking up in the morning with nice view of the garden, enjoy local noodles called "hu tiiu" and riding on a boat to floating market. We ate much fresh fruits were sold on small boat by two nice lady and our guide willing to pay all for us. After short visiting to local factory to see process of making coconut candy, rice wine and drank some snake dipped in rice wine (very strong but very good!!yey!!), we travel all the way to the boat station about 2 hours included lunch time. We had some lunch at very nice restaurant, a lot of bonsai and nice owner too. At the end of trip within day, we arrived at hotel at city in South Vietnam called Can Tho. Early morning, we were picked up and go on a boat for floating market. My family were amazed by hundreds of boats doing business, trading products, understand much more about life of people who travels most of time. We had a chance to talk with one among owner of boats, my tour guide helped me in translation part. My kids also love very fresh pineapple on the boat invited by Tung. Later we visited noodle factory to see all process of making noodle string and enjoyed very nice "hu tiiu pizza", later we arrived at speed boat station after another 2 hour drive and to Phu Quoc island, the boat was cleaned and less waves so we got very smooth ride. The day after we visit pearl farm, historic place in Phu Quoc and many fresh seafood. All me and my family can say after two days just...WOW... My kids and my wife love this trip so much. We also want to say thank you to staff of Vietjourney for helping me to pick very nice tour (very good price also). We want to thank you also driver who drive my family safely and very kind. The last one I love to thank you very much is Mr.Tung - his hospitality to my family and contribute much knowledge for me and my kids. I will come back again for sure and wait for new family's adventures.

This was the first time i traveled to Vietnam and also the first day of going for a trip. I had stopped at a tour desk and asked all tours they had and i picked Cai Be floating market and go with small group. My friend noticed me much about fake travel agency but all notices were gone after talking with great lady at the desk, very helpful and warm welcome. At the morning, I was amazed with my tour guide - "Tung" because he had arrived on time and smile while shaking my hand with warmest welcome on board. Very nice driver _ "Nam" - smile at me and welcome me too. The trip took about 1 hour 45 mins included quick rest stop - the most truly part of the trip. Instead of took me to some stores for buying things, our tour guide and driver stopped at very nice view place and good coffee. Arrived the market, I saw very nice whole sale market with boats packed with goods wait for trading things. I got very much information about culture of people, living style and was invited very special fruit called "vu sua" - with white liquid, sweet and very tasty from Tung beside fruits from our tours' program. Later we had a walk on the island and again I received much information too. The trip was ended with very nice fried fish and local food, very informative trip and made me feel like on private tour - very nice group, comfortable and a great driver all the way.. I believed this company do a great job with very professional staffs, great tour guide with much knowledge and great driver. Thank you very much for making my trip more meaningful and definitely recommend for others.

My Wife and I were lucky enough to stumble into VietJourney on Dong Khoi street near our hotel in District 1. The staff in the booking office spoke excellent english and very helpful and friendly. We booked the Cu Chi tunnels tour as well as the 1 day Mekong tour. On both days, we were very lucky to have Tung as our tour guide. Arrived on time, very knowledgeable, enjoyed what he did and a great conversationalist. Our groups were nice and small 5-6 people on both days so the tour felt intimate and personal, not rushed or overcrowded. The Cu Chi tunnels tour was one of the best tours we have ever done; I am sure in part due to having Tung as our guide. I often observed other tour groups listening into Tung's explanations as it was more detailed and in perfect english. Where others simply glanced over something, Tung took the time to explain. I can't comment on the quality of any other tours or tour guides from VietJourney, but I can confidently say Tung from VietJourney is the best tour guide we have ever experienced. Thanks again Tung! Cu Chi tunnels is a must do whilst in HCMC.

A friend told me about TSN airport heavy traffic jam and taxi dirty tricks for night
flight arrivals and she booked a private pick up from VietJourney tour which I though it was not necessary because I was born in VIETNAM, I knew everything there.
Upon arrival, I got a very friendly and helpful drive, very good/clean a/c
FORD , on time pick up, no uploading or downloading fee :)
Things would be normal if I hadn't been in the airport 2 days later to pick up my sister.
We took a taxi and that taxi showed us to another van, we had to pay nearly twice what we paid for a private service with a lot of bargaining, not clean car and not so much helpful attitude.
With those experience, I did not think we could arrange all the travel services alone. Therefore, I went to VIETJOURNEY to make a tour, book a hotel and turn out, the price was reasonable, (with some return customer discount :) oh yes! ), the procedure was quick and people there were so much friendly.
I definitely recommend this travel services to any of my friends. Who says a Vietnamese born does not need a travel agent when comes to VN?
