If you haven’t been you need to see. A interesting mix of two towns in southern Vietnam on the Mekong River that showcase real life and how to enjoy it. Would revisit again when next in Vietnam

Fiesta visit to the market, which opens at 3 am! We learnt so many useful things with our most helpful guide Sang. The cooking experience in itself was fabulous with a most entertaining and knowledgeable chef. We then ate what we had made. I would more than recommend this experience. Thank you

We were met by an English speaking guide and taken on a tour of the food markets (an experience in itself!) and then we were taken by boat to the cookery school, which was a lovely way to travel. The cookery class was great fun and everyone, including those who never cook at home, achieved some very impressive results. Who would have thought we could all make our own spring roll wrappers! We enjoyed the food we made - and a couple of extra dishes cooked by the chefs rather than us - in the restaurant beside the river. A lovely way to end a lovely experience. I really recommend it.

a typical itinerary, the first stop is a tasting of local fruits like jackfruit, pomelo, guava or perhaps some tea, local honey or banana liquor. Next up (and it’s all very hurried) is a quick ride in a sampan—a row boat piloted by ladies in conical hats— and, hats off to them, they navigate with ease down narrow waterways congested with other tourist boats. The women paddle quickly however, all too eager to dispose of you in order to queue for the next fare.

I was in Vietnam with my friends and wanted to see something different. My friend who lives there booked us a private tour to the Mekong Delta. I enjoying going to these places because it make me humble. To see what the locals have to do everyday to make a living to feed their family. I think it is worth visiting. Don't have high expectation and you might like it.
