- Cliff ChuPerth, Australia51 contributionsAmazing view. Good valueSky deck is on 49th floor, not the very top. Very fast lift to go up, unfortunately no exterior view from inside lift. Great 360° view. Could be priced cheaper than 240k VND but still worth it.Visited December 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten December 24, 2023
- mrc282World9,372 contributionsbitexco vs landmark 81went up to both bitexco and landmark 81 buildings. the latter is taller and more expensive (300000 vnd vs 240000 vnd) but the former is better situated. being more centrally located, you will be able to get a bird eye view of the key attraction sites and saigon river from bitexco skydeck easily the screen barrier most reviewers were speaking ill about at bitexco is a dotted film (?) or printed glass at the bottom half which affect photography. an adult of average height however should be able to aim the camera above thatVisited November 2023Traveled soloWritten December 27, 2023
- BrakiWorldTravelerBelgrade, Serbia19,617 contributionsNot the tallest anymore, but better than its competitorBitexco used to be the tallest HCMC building for a long time, but not anymore. It was surpassed by Landmark 81 which was built further north along Saigon river. Despite of that, it remained Saigon landmark and a much better attraction imo, offering great views of downtown area where it's located. Most important is to pick a day with little or no haze, as it can spoil your experience. Also, try to be there before dusk to get both, day and night views. Many here complain about the entry fee of around 10$. It is little bit higher for Vietnamese standards, but have in mind such sky decks in US and Europe cost 30-50$, so I don't see a problem with that for tourists.Visited January 2024Traveled with familyWritten January 27, 2024
- Stefano SLusiana, Italy1,437 contributionsLovely experienceMy first skyscraper, lovely experience. You can arrive until the 49th floor with a very little cost. I suggest to visit it around sunset, all the commercial area and the skyscrapers around will sparkle of lights. The view is at 360° over the town, unfortunately the reflection of the internal lights troubles the pictures and you need to writhe in order to find the right spot.Visited April 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten March 29, 2024

Ok, so we were dropped off here for our half day in Ho Chi Min, there are free toilets on first floor up the escalator and cash machines on the ground floor.
There is a sky deck to visit.
I believe this was the tallest building when it was built and it has a helicopter pad 2/3 the way up.
There are offices and shops here.
Outside on the street, there are numerous people selling hats, gifts, t shirts and you are free to barter for the best price, they seem to prefer dollars as a currency.
5 baseball caps for 5 dollars was the best deal I saw struck

We went to the skybar in the evening and had 2 cocktails. This cost marginally more than the price of admission to the sky deck (maybe $1-2 more but still entirely reasonably priced), however the drinks were good, the staff were friendly and they gave us a seat by the window when one became available. We were not pressured into drinking quickly or buying more drinks. There was (really good) live music and the views are spectacular. Well worth an hour of your time in HCM. Highly recommended!

Don’t miss this stop in HCMC. Amazing views of the city and the best place to watch the sun set over this massive metropolis. Very interactive and binoculars are great for spotting places in the city we’d already visited. Great restaurants nearby for after sunset eats.

The combination is well worth it. The Bitexco Tower by itself is interesting with the usual view of HCMC high up on the 49th floor. The combo of the Heneiken Tour makes it a much more interesting experience. This is the second Heneiken museum in the world, because the Vietnamese are crazy about beers. This is the second market for Heneiken (including their other brands, eg Tiger Beer, etc). Not that much to see but they have managed to make their guided tour into something quirky and interesting! Info about beer brewing, history of Heneiken, some games to play, a video to watch, some demonstration on how to fill a glass of Heneiken from the tap with the right amount of froth!, your own personalized Heineken bottle, a few bottles of Heneiken to taste on the 59th floor bar! A fun and quirky time by an enthusiastic guide and staff!

We visited the Bitexco tower in February 2020. If you go to saigon city this is a must. We went on the Heineken experience, well worth the extra few Viet-Dong it cost over the standard Sky deck tour. The 360 Deg views over the city are breathtaking. The tour included information about brewing Heineken in Saigon, A lesson in pouring the perfect glass of beer, Which you get to drink, plus another two beers to savour as you take in the views. They also give you a personalised bottle of Heineken with a message of your choice. Try and time your visit to coincide with the sunset, its unbelievable. All the staff are freindly and exteremely helpful. I would highly recommend paying this attraction a visit.

We had a couple of share hours on our last day in Saigon and decided to do the tower. The view of the city is good, but spoilt by the smog haze & windows that needed a good clean. The viewing platform has little other than the views and the cafe was closed when we visited.
Worth visiting but not Ho Chi Minh has so much more to offer.

The whole city looks beautiful from this tower. Its ticket is reasonably priced. Best time to go is before the sun set so that u get to see day time view and night view with the city lit up fully.

I recommend going up to the bar instead of the observation floor. You pay $5 for a cup of coffee or a juice and you get the same great views that you would pay for if you buy a loft ticket for around the same price. It’s a no brainer, but definitely check this place out.

Popped up the tower on dusk which wasn’t the best time.... visibility wasn’t great so make sure you pick a clear day.
The transition from day to night was cool giving the best of both worlds.
displays on the walls are interesting to learn about the construction.
There is also a restrauant

Enjoyed our visit here. Easy to buy tickets and shown where to go, not at all busy. Great viewing deck and views with maps on display, binoculars were available at a fee. Bar had great range of drinks and I had a delicious fruit smoothie. Lots of information on the walls about Ho Chi Mein and various other sky scrappers. Worth the visit and staff were really friendly.
