This was an expensive waste of a day. Booked with Vietcruises at our hotel. My third visit to the Delta but this was a very ordinary tour. Nice car. That's a I can say about them. Last two tours there were fantastic, and a must do. Do some research before choosing your tour company because it makes all the difference

Booked this tour thru Mercury Travel who use a tour provided called Asian Trails, or something like that. They provided a good driver, Hong, A/C van and a great guide, Daniel. We thought the tour was very good, we had a lot of fun with small group (max 10) of people. Cai Be, where we caught the boat, is 100km... More

What a waste of money and very precious travel time. The YTC tour was shambolic, you will spend all day in the bus and do nothing they tell you before you book. The floating markets were closed, the ochre non existent, no bike ride, lunch was tiny, the staff unhelpful. Spend more money and book with a better company DO... More

Not sure if it was our tour however I would not have gone had I known. The highlight was suppose to be to float down a part of the river with village people paddling a boat. The boat ride was only 15 minutes or so. We saw village people make coconut candy which was alright and our provided lunch was... More

A total tourist trap , first they stop at a honey place so you will buy honey, the they stop at candy place so you buy candy, then they stop to hear vietnman Music so you can tip them, then lunch was very good, then you horse ride with this poor horses that look like they have not eatin for... I booked this tour through my hostel, 2 day Mekong tour. Both days were quite good though the first day was rushed and touristy.. Overnight was in a very basic hotel but if all you need is a clean bed and a hot shower it works. Day 2 is where it all went wrong. The group went on a bicycle... More

Took 1 day tour with travel agent. The tour was fantastic as we got to see the lifestyle and how do Vietnamese live and travel along the delta, the tour is pretty typical, every travel agents are selling the same itinerary basically so you dont need to specify what kind of mekong tour you want, if you are ok with... A great day out to touch & taste the tradition of the Mekong delta , 8 am start long car trip but the sighs of life on the Mekong is a great experience , lunch was included & you could purchase a beer or soft drink a very nice trip & should be on the list of things to see

Most of the Mekong Delta tours seem to cover the same ground but it is still worth joining in because there is so much to see and do. We started from Saigon at 8 a.m. Within 2 hours we were getting on board the first boat. During the next few hours we went from the first boat to a smaller... More

I booked up this tour relatively last minute and arrived on the morning realising I'd in fact booked the wrong day, Tan my guide was really helpful and moved me onto his tour. We had a very large comfortable bus and there were only 4 other people on the tour so it felt very personal. Tan had excellent knowledge of... More
