Me and my friend were looking to get diving lessons in Ho Chi Minh. Through a friend we got in contact with Nick McKenna. He was very informative about the whole course, quick in arranging our pool session and even helped us with accommodation for our ocean dive course in Nha Trang! Trough the whole pool session we felt very safe and his patience and enthusiasm made it fun. We are now confident for our ocean dive course in Nga Trang! Thanks Nick!

We did our classroom and pool work for PADI Open Water in HCMC before going up to Nha Trang to do open water work. Everything very organised, very profeessional with friendly staff. Thanks guys!

Rainbow Divers was where my boyfriend got his Padi. The concierge service helped us set up all the travel details and hotel in Nha Trang at a very reasonable rate. I took the refresher at Saigon while my boyfriend did his pool dive. Despite a communication mix up, they were able to accommodate us last minute to keep our schedule. Thanks to Jeremy and Dzung for helping us work everything out.
The Whale Island dive was quite fun. The second dive had more fish and we even swam through the coral. On the boat they had choco pies, coffee, tea and some local fruit. We could sit on the top of the roof of the boat in the sun between dives.
I had a good time and would highly recommend them to other divers.

I had always wanted to learn how to SCUBA dive and I am glad I took the opportunity to do so while in Vietnam. I was able to complete the e-learning online and the pool work in Hi Chi Minh City before heading to Nha Trang to complete the open water dive training. Everything is handled professional, all equipment in good shape and sized correctly. Besides the normal nervousness for a person diving for the first time I felt comfortable with the instructor that was assigned to me to complete the 4 open water dives. I would recommend anyone considering to learn how to dive to do so at Rainbow Divers. Everything is including in the cost with regards to training, equipment food and drinks on the boat. There is a hotel across that is perfect for staying if you are going to dive. Jermey and his team run a first class operation.

Overall we were pleased with our experience with Rainbow Divers in Nha Trang. They have a great set up, they have restaurant/bar connected to the dive shop, so when we checked in the night before our dives we ended up hanging out there with one of the managers for awhile. There is a great laid back but professional atmosphere there. We did a two tank dive, and there was a strict 1:4 Divemaster to diver ratio, which we appreciated. We were disappointed with our guide, Christophe. In our opinion he just wasn't very good in general. However all the others on the boat were great, and we would like to give shout outs to Will and Remy who were great and very helpful. Also, my boyfriend's BCD malfunctioned the entire first dive. It was taken care of for the second dive, but ruined the first dive for him. But almost all of the equipment is Mares, and appeared to be in decent shape. When we got back to the shop after our dives, we spoke with the managers, Mike and Jerod, about our disappointment with our guide and mentioned the BCD issue. We were very pleased that they happily took our criticism so they could make improvements. They even offered us a discount. The discount was nice but the fact that they honestly wanted to hear our opinion and took it to heart showed us that this was a well operated dive shop, even if our They are there to make sure everyone has the best possible experience. Mike and Jerod also love to hang out and swap dive stories, and simply make the dive shop a place you want to hang out. If we ever return to Nha Trang we would dive with Rainbow Divers again.
The diving itself in Nha Trang was average. If you have been to world class dive sites you might be disappointed. The dive sites we went to had very shallow reefs, which is ok with us because the colors were amazing and the visibility was better than we expected. We saw some beautiful coral and decent fish life. We enjoyed our dives even though we wouldn't say it was the most amazing in the world.

I started the PADI certification course in the US before I came to visit friends in Vietnam. I scared myself a bit and didn't finish the course. My friends suggested that I do some practice in the pool in HCMC with Jeremy and then do a Try Dive with a Rainbow Dive instructor in Nha Trang. I am so glad I did. Jeremy is very relaxed and helped me build my confidence. The whole experience on the dive boat was a blast. The staff has so much experience and such great ability to make a person feel safe that I was underwater exploring the coral reef in the bay at Nha Trang before I knew it. The staff and divers ate from all over the world and the lunch and snacks were plentiful and tasty. I simply cannot say enough good things about Jeremy and Rainbow Divers.

Hi
We are spending 3 days in HCMC before flying back to the UK and as certified BSAC Dive leaders wondered if we could fit in a cheeky days diving. What is the possibility of this bearing in mind the very short time schedule we have.
Kind regards.
