If only these walls could talk. Saigon Saigon Rooftop Bar on the top floor of the hotel is one of the few remaining bars in our rapidly-developing city with such a long and colourful history to tell. Way before sky bars, craft beer and social media became ‘things’, drinks flowed uninterrupted at Saigon Saigon Rooftop Bar from the very first moment the hotel opened way back in 1959. Not even a war could prevent thirsty politicians, journalists and soldiers from risking a sneaky happy hour beer on the patio and balconies that overlook the city and along one of its most famous and historical streets. These days, of course, the risks for guests are nowhere near the same and many things have changed. But one thing that hasn’t, is Saigon Saigon Rooftop Bar’s exceptional service and its special places in the heart of our city where modernity and history continue to collide.

This place has the worlds worst cocktails at US/European prices with waiters who do not speak English. One of the cocktails we ordered (Miss Saigon) was just undrinkable and I had to send it back. My partners passionfruit cocktail was also very sweet and barely Ok. Really a place for office / business travellers and not for the rest of us

We went up for a happy hour drink. The location and the view of the sunset were stunning. But paying 320000 vnd (280,000++ = $22NZD )for buy one ,get one free(2 drinks total) was a rort. I can only imagine , but didn’t check, they inflate their happy hour prices.

This is always my favorite place for relax. The view was wonderful from the balcony especially at 5:30pm when you can see sunset and night lights. Cocktails are amazing, I recommend " Asian Legend and Miss Saigon ". Live music start around 9pm till late, a bit too loud but anyway it's good :)

Didn't have the opportunity to view the sunset from the Bar but the place was nice and cozy when we visited for a late night snack.
There was a live band playing and we caught the last gig of the night. The atmosphere was nostalgic and the staff speaks good English. Service was excellent and the F&B was delicious.
It was unfortunate our visit was in the night as there was not much to see other than the lights of the city.

The service staff is cheerful and professional. The space is airy and has a view of the city, the drinks come out quickly and are delicious. Next time I will come here with friends or family to experience it, especially every day at 9pm there is a band singing live music.

Great experience at the balcony of a long-standing hotel bar in Saigon. Especially during the daily happy hour, the discount will be up to 50%. The Cuban band sings very well and vibrantly. Cocktails are reasonably priced compared to the average price. I will introduce family and friends to Saigon Saigon Bar

Saigon Saigon remains one of the top bars in District 1. The team always provides a warm welcome, especially Uyen. You can enjoy a refreshing drink on the beautiful terrace, which offers a stunning view of the bustling streets below. For a quieter and more relaxed experience, visit before dark to savor the sunset and the gradual rise of the evening buzz. Personally, I love coming here during the rainy season, feeling the wind grow stronger and fresher before a thunderstorm.

This historic rooftop bar in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City is a treasure of the city. Remaining basically unchanged from its opening, through the course of the Vietnam war, until today. Tu brought exceptional service and along with the spectacular views of the city made the experience once in a life time.

There were children there when we were. There is an outdoor terrace area which may be better than inside with the music noise etc.

I am interested in stay at Saigon Saigon during this New Year's Eve (December 31th at 11:00pm) and see the fireworks as well. As I think the bar will be very crowded this day, I ask you:
- Is it necessary to reserve a table? If so, how can I do this? Do you know if this year there will be the fireworks at the Bitexco Tower?

The Saigon Saigon bar is part of the Caravelle Hotel. You may be able to a get a booking there for the New Year. I there were about have been in Saigon for the New Year and the Chinese New Year and both have been a really great experience. I preferred to be on the street for the celebrations where there are about 9 millions people who travel from all over centre. The Saigon Saigon bar overlooks the square where it goes on but I would say it would be difficult to get a good position by the windows. There are fireworks galore and I have never had a better New Year experience anywhere in the world.
The Chinese New Year is much of the same and these people really enjoy it.
