Unique show rich in Vietnamese heritage. Short show performed in Vietnamese but easy to follow the story line. Watch your pockets when you leave the performance but trust the cycle drivers.

We enjoyed the performance of this Vietnamese ancient art which has a long association with Vietnam. It is unique puppetry performed in a pool of water. The puppets dance and slide elegantly over the water syagr controlled by a whole troupe of puppet masters hiding behind a screen. The vocalists and musicians at the side of the stage performed synchronised... More

Seating arrangement terrible! Hard to get a good view. Best to sit in the very back. People block views because they are busy standing up taking picture and video with their cell phones

At first I was a bit doubtful if we should watch the show as some who have seen it said they couldnt understand it because it was in Vietnamese. Surprisingly I liked it. Even though it was in Vietnamese, you can still understand the story thru the puppets. It was amazing to see how the puppets where in sync with... More

Booked the combined Dinner on a Junk river cruise and Puppet show night from the Sheraton Hotel. Great night. The junk was very busy but the food was good and drink prices reasonable. Puppet show was amazing - looks very simple but performed by very talented performers.

The music, narration and the skill of the puppeteers is amazing. Due to the language difference I had no idea what the story was about. Value for money $10US. You may fall asleep after 30 mins.

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience of the music, singing and storytelling even though we didn't understand Vietnamese. The humor didn't need translating. The puppets are lovely and it is a very interesting tradition. Sadly or enjoyment of the hour-long show was quickly drowned out by getting into what we thought was a legitimate Mai Linh taxi. We quickly realized... More

The driver pretend to be kind and honest, but he is tricky to steal your money. I have 25$ stolen by him. If he says, 'teacher(Ho chin min on the bill) is watching us, so i can't get extra change' He is going to check your wallet and pick up... More
