Fascinating unique theatre experience. Traditional Vietnamese instruments and singing. Be sure to read the programme before the show to understand each act.

We missed the show in Hanoi, so we made the effort to go to a show in Ho Chi Minh City. It looks like an old repurposed cinema. The band and the narrators sit on both sides of the 'pool'. The various stories told are...More

I came here as part of a tour to see parts of HCMC. It's not necessarily something I would choose to do, but I was entertained and could appreciate the artistry behind this performance. It's a mix of puppets, panto, performance, percussion and pitch perfect...More

Show is all in Vietnamese and extremely quirky but it's a must if you're in Ha Noi! Tickets aren't too bad and I recommend springing for the expensive middle seats if you can. Don't expect Broadway production and Hollywood scenery, so temper your expectations. But...More

Very nice show. In this modern technology world, it is tough to see traditional shows like this. A lot of human efforts are required to run synchronized shows like this. Don't miss the show. The only downside is the show is completed on Vietnamese so...More

This was a lovely show. Completely in Vietnamese, with no translations but you can still work out what is going on. The puppetry itself is amazing - a lot of talent there! And the music and singers are great too. Definitely worth going to see.

Water puppet show is just the shows itself. Local travel agents usually organise it with the river cruises that include dinner.
