My friend and I had a facial Glow Spa. My friend got the Biolift and I had the collagen facial. After 2wks of traveling our face really needed cleaning and moisture especially with the pollution and sun exposure. The facial products smelled nice and was gentle on my skin. There was a lot of massage on the face, shoulder and neck. So that was a nice bonus - got my face cleansed AND massage for my sore shoulder! This is a cute spa tucked away from the busy main street. You wouldn't know there was a spa retreat right in the city and we only found it by chance thanks to Google maps. Overall great service and location. It's a small spa so make sure to book first!

Hello Mindful, thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Glow Spa. We're happy to hear that you and your friend enjoyed the facial treatments. We're glad that you were able to find our spa which can easily be missed because we are hidden inside a bamboo garden. Thanks again and hope to see you again on your next visit to Saigon!

One of the best massages I had in Ho Chi Minh City. It’s a cute little spa inside a green oasis. Clean and comfortable with a zen vibe. The masseuse I had was very skillful and knew where to work on my sore shoulders. It was really easy to book with the online booking form so it’s not a hassle like some other places. Highly recommend if you want a no-fuss, quality massage!

I just literally finished my massage session at Glow Spa and had to do a review right away. It is one of the best massages I've had since I started traveling a few weeks ago. Believe me, I've tried many - from luxury to basic but by far this is the best. The girl masseuse worked deeply on my shoulder and back, where I needed it most. I could have focused for 1 hour just on my back side. It felt so good and was disappointed that my 90 minute session was over so quickly. I'm booking another session in before I leave.

While on holiday, my mum and I decided to pop in for a massage after reading all the tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed! The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, quality of service was superb. It may cost a little more than other places, but it's definitely worth it!

Hello Sara,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Glow. We're very pleased to know that you and your mom enjoyed your massage and appreciate the relaxing ambiance.
We realize that there are many massage service / spas to choose from in this city and we appreciate that you value quality service over price (even though our prices are relatively low compared to nearby hotel spas).
Thank you again for choosing Glow for your spa experience in Ho Chi Minh City and we hope to welcome you back on your next visit.

I was desperately needing a massage and so glad that I found Glow Spa. It's a small place right off Nguyen Hue surrounded by bamboo trees and garden. It's a very relaxing environment. I had the swedish massage which was both relaxing and therapeutic. They were very accommodating. I asked to focus mainly on my back, shoulder and neck and the masseuse did a terrific job. I felt great afterwards! Would highly recommend.

Thank you for making the effort to find Glow as it is tuck off the main road. We are very pleased to know that you enjoyed your massage. We provide a form for guests to complete, checking areas that need concentration or areas to avoid as a way to ensure that our guests are receiving the personalized care that we strive to provide.
Again, thank you for your feedback and we hope to see you again on your next visit to Ho Chi Minh City.

Hidden away in an alley in the center of Saigon is a very interesting, well decorated, and nice massage lounge. The exterior is designed in a Vietnamese/Polynesian Style with stone steps leading to the lobby. Inside the decor is relaxing with wooden furniture and a mild green coat of paint and white ceiling.
The tea served here is just amazing!
The chairs where you sit to do foot massages are custom made in the form of round boats are covered with soft pillows and provide maximum comfort.
The service personnel is polite, friendly, well spoken in English (possibly Japanese as well) and very good at their job.
If you happen to be walking around the Saigon Opera house area and have the need to relax for an hour or two, this is the place to be~

Dear Nguyen T,
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for Glow. I am very pleased to read your praise for our service, atmosphere and of course the welcome and post treatment drinks.
Thanks for noting our location. Though we are located right in city center - our little oasis is sometimes missed because we are tucked in a wide alley leading into a parking lot. But the plus side is that we are the only spa in the city center that has a bamboo garden and pool view which you can enjoy when you're doing a foot massage or any of our nail services.
Thanks again for visiting Glow and we hope to see you again on your next visit to Ho Chi Minh City.

Thuy

I went to this on my second last day staying in Vietnam. After a long trek through Vietnam from the North (Hanoi) and finally arriving in the South (Saigon/HCMC), travelling for a few weeks. We decided to treat ourselves a bit having travelled for a few weeks already.
The experience started great. We were greeted upon entry, shown what type of massages were available (Don't worry, this is not a Rub and Tug type place) and we were satisfied, so we purchased 2 packages for the each of us. The massages that we selected took almost 3 hours. One of the massages being something I've never tried before, Hot Stone Massage, where they use warm stones with the massage.
At first, the stones felt great while I was lying on my stomach and was instructed to then turn over and to lay on the rocks underneath me with towels between my back and the stones. I felt a bit uncomfortable after a few minutes. However, I wasn't sure if the stones were too hot, or if the stones were jagged causing the discomfort with the weight of my body on the stones (the room was dark and I was never shown what the stones looked like, so I didn't know what to expect). The masseuse was very nice and asked if everything was ok, because I kept squirming. I said that the stones may be too hot, but I'm not sure but it's a bit uncomfortable. Perhaps it was my fault for not asking her to check, but I was unable to tell in my half asleep manner from the ealier part of the massage which was great and put me to an almost zen like state.
After the massages were completed, we got our stuff and we tipped them thinking wow, we feel great. On the way walking back to the hotel, I felt discomfort from my shirt rubbing my back as we walked. Thinking that maybe the warmth of the stones made my skin more sensitive, I manned up and ignored the sensitivity on my back. Upon returning to the hotel for a shower, my friend pointed out that my back was burned and blistering with six circular shapes like the stones down my back, with the top two having blistering bubbles from being burned.
I wasn't so upset at first, because it was a mistake and I can swallow that. I didn't want to get the masseuse in trouble, because she did in fact do a good job massaging, but didn't lay enough towels between my back and the hot stones. I suppose that could happen to anyone, but what got me was that I immediately emailed the comments email address on the website and sent pictures of my back to the comment line, but received no response from management. I would at least expect a response back with an apology of some sort. Heck, even an offer of a refund (or at least partial refund) would have been appreciated, but it has been over a week since I've left Asia sent that email and still I have yet to receive any response from anyone at Glow Spa. The fact that they didn't respond was quite dissappointing and I`m not even angry about the massage, but because of how the management ignored my email completely. Due to their lack of professionalism in the follow up is the only reason that I`ve given this place a poor review. Otherwise, I would have given an average to a good review even after the accident, had they responded to my email.
Would I come here again on my next visit, probalby not.

Dear Mike,
Let me first say that I am deeply so sorry to hear about your warm stone experience and sorry that we could have not managed the problem when you were still in Vietnam. We did not receive any emails from you regarding the incident with the photos you mentioned (it may have gone into spam). I checked our inbox over again and still could not find your email.
We are always responsive to our guests, from the first email inquiry to responding to comments at the end of the service. So it came as a shock to see this review and disappointed that we didn't have the opportunity to not only compensate you but also to give advice on how to care for your back. I don't accept injuries of this nature lightly and will take measures to ensure that it does not happen again. I think this lesson is safety takes priority over relaxation as we have had customers who have requested the stones to be hotter.
Thank you for being fair about the review and I can understand how it would upset you to the point of having to address this on TA. I would too if the establishment did not respond to my concerns. But unfortunately, it's difficult to know whether the email just was not received or it was ignored. I know we can't turn back the clock to fix the situation but I would still appreciate if you could re-send the email to booking@glowsaigon.com and in tandem we will try to find your email in our records to contact you personally (just in case you don't read this reply).
Once again my deepest apologies for the incident and that we were unable to respond to your comments in a timely manner.
Regards,
Thuy

We were staying at a nearby hotel and wanted a massage to undo the tensions from our long flights and chose Glow Spa. We made our reservations early in the morning and they fortunately had space for all 3 of us in the afternoon. The spa is easy to find - you walk (about 15m) down a very small covered alley located right next to the McDonalds, and then you'll see the Glow Spa sign to the right and climb a few stone steps to get to the entrance. Inside you'll find a small, clean, soothing environment. As mentioned in other TA reviews, we were given a short questionnaire to fill out - we did feel that they respected the areas we wanted to focus on. After speaking with the owner, we chose the full body Swedish Massage (as this also included some deeper tissue strokes). We were able to choose between 3 different oils (all exquisite light scents). We placed our purses in a locked cupboard. Once in the room (3 beds separated by curtains) we undressed and were given disposable underwear. The room had relaxed lighting. The ladies who gave us the massages were professional and effective. At the end we were brought into an adjoining room with some lounge chairs and given organic tea to relax a few minutes. All 3 of us were completely satisfied with the massages and would recommend Glow Spa for a calming break.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are happy to hear that your group all enjoyed the massage service. We also appreciate your thorough feedback on the service, product, and atmosphere - all of which are equally important and in which we strive to maintain this level of professionalism and quality. Though we may be a small facility, one of the benefits of being a boutique spa is that we are able to provide our guests with personalized service and attentive care.
Thanks again for visiting and we hope to see you again on your next visit to Saigon.
