If you have a couple of hours to spare and like pupettry, it was very entertaining and well done, with live music and light show!

It is difficult to describe this show, beyond saying that there are puppets performing in water, with live and visible vocalists and musicians providing the narration. We would love to see how it happens backstage, for we were amazed and confounded as to the puppet...More

True Vietnamese entertainment and good family fun. All in Vietnamese but easy to follow. Be warned if sitting near the front you may get a couple of splashes of water! If you book direct at venue its only 150,000 VND. Booking essential and many places...More

My mum and I were in HCMC for a very short transit (only 1 night), thus our tourist guide suggested to us to go and see the show. The ticket price was quite reasonable (2 million Dong, around Ringgit Malaysia 30), and it is situated...More

Although you don't understand what they're saying, but through the actions and sounds effect, you can easily get it. It's very very entertaining. Good for old and young people.

I think booking is essential because it was completely full! It is all in Vietnamese but we are in Vietnam after all and it was easy to follow! An enjoyable piece of Vietnamese culture!

Very clever. Puppets were great. This is a fantastic children's show. The little boy behind us was totally amazed every time a new puppet came out. Lots of colour, action. If you are only in HCMC for a short time, get your tickets fast. Booked...More

Interesting to see the many different types of water puppets in motion with traditonal music and vocals. The theatre itself is rather tired. The theatre was packed and one lady who was sitting a few chairs away from me on the far right of the...More

A totally new experience! Little theatre decorated with lanterns, Staff and performers in traditional dress. Several sketches based on water with wooden puppets, easy to follow. Traditional music excellent!

Lasts maybe a bit less than an hour. Probably cheap enough that you could leave early if the child gets bored. About $US7 or £UK5. Enjoy if you go, try and get seats near the front for best view.
