Great idea, but boy was it horrid. Ho Chi Minh city is hot. The sleep boxes are on a high level above a busy exit gate (see pic) under a glass roof. They have no AC or even a fan. They have open tops. I stripped down to my undies and lay down and tried to get comfortable. The mattress was very thin and my hips hurt for hours afterwards. I had ear plugs and eye mask from the plane but still the noise of the airport and the heat and the lack of comfort made my hours there very unpleasant. I had seen several reviews saying the same and assumed they might have fixed it - they hadn't. Shame but I will not use again.

The place can be worth the money if the management payed attention to the complaints raised by customers . 1) this unit has no fan and it becomes extremely hot inside . Outside is more comfortable 2) the in-unit does not have have proper insulation to prevent external noice to come in very difficult to sleep. 3) the power pints inside don’t work so you can’t charge your electronic devices . If these are taken care of I would come back again ..

The mattress was 1 inch thick with the smallest pillow which was not enough to be comfortable.
The worst part was there was no air in there. I booked for 6 hours and only stayed for 2 because I couldn’t breathe inside. There needs to be a fan inside each pod. If I’d of had a fan it would of been manageable

I landed in HCMC around 10pm, spent a bit of time grabbing some dinner and sitting in the airline lounge. When the lounge closed around 2am (I had an 8am flight), I thought I'd check out the Sleep Zone.
Although the sleep cells were private - including a bed, small table with a lamp and a oscillating fan, and a door that locks, as others have mentioned, the ceiling is "open" (it's screened in, but not a solid ceiling) so you could hear others outside talking to their friends, crying kids etc. I solved for this by using my noise canceling headphones.
The mattress is REALLY thin, to the point I could feel the hard surface on my hips, so I doubled up the "comforter" to create some more padding.
Not the most restful time, but it was private and my belongings were secure. For ~$30 for 5 hours ($7/hr), it wasn't the worst money I've spent.

I slept a solid three hours (due in large part to the ear plugs and a sleep mask that I brought). Very clean, bottle of water included. Nothing fancy but met my expectations, I would stay again on a long layover.
It is next to the children's play area and very bright, so I definitely recommend you come prepared.

We booked 4 hours for 2 sleep pods. Minimal sleep was had due to temp of the pod (we slept with doors slid open because it was so hot with them closed and slightly more bearable with them open. The noise from people sitting outside the sleep zone area was just ridiculous. Kids yelling and running up and down, people’s mobile phones ringing constantly, the machines checking people’s boarding passes etc. the kids managed to get a couple of hours though. The only thing it was good for was more private than out in the open .

How difficult is it to book a simple room online?? This is absolutely ridiculous! I can not book to save my life. Will not allow me to book anything under 5 hours. Won’t allow me to book 1 room. Still thought ok, will book anyways as I’m unwell and need sleep, but nope!! Still can’t book. The website literally does not allow you to book. Will not provide a price, so you can’t check out or pay. Tried to register an account only to be told my security code is invalid? What security code!!
I emailed customer service over a week ago and no response!! Do your self a favour and skip this airport at all costs if you possibly can!

As good as it sounds to get some sleep during 9.5 hour layover...this place is closed. It's midnight and the Sleep Zone is closed. I called in advance. They told be they would be open, just come to the counter and check in. Very disappointing.

I forward booked for two Sleep Zone boxes for 10 hrs each.
We arrived at 5am from London (11 hr flight) on our way back to OZ, with a 15 hr wait for our connecting flight. We booked the two sleep boxes instead of going to a local hotel (as we didn’t want to bother with Visa’s & wouldn’t have been able to check in to a hotel until after later in the day anyway). The staff at the check in counter were very friendly and helpful.
We slept for a few hours as we were very tired.
Take earplugs and eye mask though. The private space (it is light and even though at the end of the airport it is not very quiet. The beds are flat, single & a good proportion for any size person, but quite hard with only a very small amount of padding. All in all it was good, but at 7USD per hour it would have been great to have a quiet, dark and softer place to lay your head.

If you are a light sleeper it won't work for you because you hear the terminal noise. However, the pod was very clean, the bed was relatability comfortable and had outlets to plug your phone so you can charge it.

I felt safe and secure and once the noise level went down I was able to get some rest.
