I took my 3 children (13, 10 and 5) to Spin and Gogh to do something fun and creative to avoid the rain. We ended up staying there the whole day! The smaller ones had great instructors and my teen had a really great time doing things by himself. The clay they use is non toxic and the space is comfortable and spacious. The instructors spoke great English and was fun and patient. I highly recommend it as a family activity! Five stars!

Went today to learn the basics of using a pottery wheel as I've never had a chance to try. The team sat with my husband and I and showed us step by step how to create a bowl. They were super helpful and at the end the owner said to contact him if we needed some info on setting up our own home pottery area which we had discussed. I had a wonderful day, it took us about 2 hours and at the end we had some bowls which we could take home. Although they do usually need a few days for drying and glazing which the team here offered but unfortunately we as we were leaving the day after we went here we had to take our wet pieces for hopefully firing at home if it makes it there in one piece.

Spin and Gogh offers an interesting alternative to the HCMC entertainment scene. The studio offers a pottery less for VND 280,000 ($13-$14US) and it provides all the tools, materials, and equipment for potters. The space is large, clean, and very comfortable and wine can also be enjoyed at the studio. I highly recommend the studio as a place to meet friends to do something interesting and creative.

Came yesterday with 2 friends. While we were new to pottery, the staff were extremely helpful. At the beginning of the session, the staff discusses about your skill level, pottery needs etc. They are also very accommodating - I had to catch a flight in the week, so the staff put a rush on glazing and baking and ensured that the clay was thinner than usual. So, if you have limited time left in HCMC, give them at least a week’s notice if you want to take your creation with you. Trying something new can be intimidating but the staff really reassures you - they sit by you to help guide through the process. And stunning, for just the price of 400,000VND that includes EVERYTHING (compared to other classes in HCMC that charges extra for add-ons like glazing etc.). It’s a great activity to try out for a reasonable price in a relaxing neighbourhood, with expert staff who truly love what they do. Added bonus: they also have a cute cafe upstairs.

My girlfriend and I wanted to do something other than walking around and sightseeing, which lead us to trip advisor which recommended spin and Gogh. It was great! The staff were very friendly and really patient with us. We made 2 bowls on the pottery wheels each and got to keep them. We have to fly out the next day so we couldn't fire and glaze unfortunately, but still worth it.

Decided to celebrate my husband's birthday by attending a pottery class together!
They were really prompt in their replies and arranging a class for both my husband and myself, on a short notice.
The owner was really sweet as well, as he decided to take up our class [as it was my husband's birthday].
We had a great time, as the instructors were really patient, and thorough in their explanation!
A dedicated and passionate team of people! :) Thank you

I've been here a few times for coffee during the day, or beers / wine in the evening on the terrace to watch the sun go down over the river. Always a lovely experience.
This weekend we took the kids (aged 6, 4 and 2) to the studio where a kind and extremely patient potter helped them to each make their own bowl. I've never seen our toddler so engaged with listening to the instructions. Such a lovely way to spend a morning.

Sipping a bottle of white wine on a Sunday evening in Saigon. It’s raining but we’re loving being on the outdoor terrace at Spin and Gogh. So lovely here!
