Really fun and definitely recommend!
Nov 2019 • Couples
My girlfriend and I wanted to do something other than walking around and sightseeing, which lead us to trip advisor which recommended spin and Gogh. It was great! The staff were very friendly and really patient with us. We made 2 bowls on the pottery wheels each and got to keep them. We have to fly out the next day so we couldn't fire and glaze unfortunately, but still worth it.

Tons of fun and a wonderful experience
Aug 2019
I had a lot of fun learning about pottery and spending my time at the pottery studio. The instructor was very patient and the end product looked great with the help with the instructor. A great experience and learned a lot about the ceramics making process. When we were there, there were families making hand projects together.
It's definitely an activity for everyone.

The fee for the pottery was all inclusive - instructor time, coloring and baking, equipment use, etc. (delivery fee not included). They also have a cafe / bar where you can order drinks and pizza. Fun place to visit when you travel in Vietnam!

Unique birthday experience
Aug 2019
Decided to celebrate my husband's birthday by attending a pottery class together!

They were really prompt in their replies and arranging a class for both my husband and myself, on a short notice.

The owner was really sweet as well, as he decided to take up our class [as it was my husband's birthday].

We had a great time, as the instructors were really patient, and thorough in their explanation!

A dedicated and passionate team of people! :) Thank you

A great relaxing activity
Aug 2019 • Friends
Came yesterday with 2 friends. While we were new to pottery, the staff were extremely helpful. At the beginning of the session, the staff discusses about your skill level, pottery needs etc. They are also very accommodating - I had to catch a flight in the week, so the staff put a rush on glazing and baking and ensured that the clay was thinner than usual. So, if you have limited time left in HCMC, give them at least a week’s notice if you want to take your creation with you. Trying something new can be intimidating but the staff really reassures you - they sit by you to help guide through the process. And stunning, for just the price of 400,000VND that includes EVERYTHING (compared to other classes in HCMC that charges extra for add-ons like glazing etc.). It’s a great activity to try out for a reasonable price in a relaxing neighbourhood, with expert staff who truly love what they do. Added bonus: they also have a cute cafe upstairs.

A great morning
Jul 2019 • Couples
The instructors were extremely helpful and sat with us until we got the hang of it. Although we were both new to pottery they helped us make a beautiful bowl and a cup. Unfortunately we couldn’t take those with us as our flight was in 2 days, and they needed some time to bake and glaze the products. They did offer to ship them to us though. The staff were very friendly, and it was definitely a highlight for us in HCMH. Its 400000 dong/person for a 2 hour class, And I would recommend it 100%.

Awesome team of people working here!
Jul 2019 • Couples
Went today to learn the basics of using a pottery wheel as I've never had a chance to try. The team sat with my husband and I and showed us step by step how to create a bowl. They were super helpful and at the end the owner said to contact him if we needed some info on setting up our own home pottery area which we had discussed. I had a wonderful day, it took us about 2 hours and at the end we had some bowls which we could take home. Although they do usually need a few days for drying and glazing which the team here offered but unfortunately we as we were leaving the day after we went here we had to take our wet pieces for hopefully firing at home if it makes it there in one piece.

Lovely atmosphere. Great bar and friendly studio

I've been here a few times for coffee during the day, or beers / wine in the evening on the terrace to watch the sun go down over the river. Always a lovely experience.

This weekend we took the kids (aged 6, 4 and 2) to the studio where a kind and extremely patient potter helped them to each make their own bowl. I've never seen our toddler so engaged with listening to the instructions. Such a lovely way to spend a morning.

Great place to chillax and be creative

I really enjoyed my afternoon visit with James and Anny...The pottery studio is spacious and cool, the clay used is fine quality and there is plenty of supervision and guidance if required or you can just work as you wish. I enjoyed some fine one on one time with James who does this because he loves it ...and one feels it. His charming wife runs the coffee shop upstairs...also lovely and everything is natural ...easy come and easy go. I would love to visit again...this was definitely the better side of Ho Chi Minh city...wide streets and fresh air...Highly recommended

Sipping a bottle of white wine on a Sunday evening in Saigon. It’s raining but we’re loving being on the outdoor terrace at Spin and Gogh. So lovely here!

Great place to learn and make pottery. High quality materials and good guidance for any level. I really like it and also nice to just enjoy a coffee upstairs, if you just want to enjoy the artsy feeling. A big variety of workshops to try out your creative self. Great to have a place like this around.
