We went to the Gold Session - the chairs were comfortable and was a good cinema. make sure you take your munchies and drinks in with you from the front shop as only tea and coffee there
All movies are english and have subtitles.
A very comfortable and fun experience

This place was horrible. The seating is so inconvenient and unsafe. I recommend any location but this one.

Went last night to watch Avengers: End Game, and it was a good experience trying one of the cinemas here in Da Nang, and the tickets cost less. The seats and infrastructures are a little bit old, but it was enjoyable. Two days ago I tried to buy online and it said "Thank you for your order", but when picking up, it didn't show on their system, and it wasn't charged so it wasn't a problem and they were helpful, so I bought tickets for next day on the counter.
The only thing is, at the end of the movie, most costumers leave a really big amount of trash (popcorn on the floor, boxes and drinks in seats) in the room. Maybe it's normal here, but it gives a negative aspect and I think costumers should also contribute, like taking the trash to the outside bins.

We went here last night to watch end game and having never been to a cinema outside of the UK I was more than impressed! It was £6.00 for two people and around £6.00 for two large drinks and popcorn! The cinemas are small in seats (only 50 compared to UK cinemas where they can fit 100s!) but the screen is still huge! The staff were extremely helpful and kind and the seats in the movie were extremely comfortable!

Date of patronage : 24 Dec 2018

Chanced upon CGV cinema at Vin Centre when we specially took a cab to Landmark 81 to see this tallest building in Ho Chi Minh City and hoping to get on to its observatory deck which unfortunately will only be opened in Apr 2019, according to the Concierge. Our first patronage of CGV chain was in a mall@Cultural Centre文化中心, Ningbo宁波 in 2015. It is a huge cinema chain from South Korea.

On 24 Dec, we watched “Bumblebee” and it was in English, just like in Singapore. We bought the VIP seats at VND110,000/pax (S$6.50). Comfortable seats and huge screen like that in theatre 1 at Golden Village cinema@Vivo City, Singapore.

Worst service ever. First of all, they don’t show the play time correctly on their OWN website, which led us all the way from D1 to D2 for nothing. Went to Saigon pearl first cuz their website was saying they were playing at 8:30pm then the service boy told us just Na and told us to go to Saigon plaza. Took another cab cuz it was already 8:10 or something, and another CGV service manager looking girl came out and told us they didn’t show at all at their cinema.

Waste of time, waste of cab fee and worst service.
Don’t recommend at all.

They don’t give refunds of any kind. I bought 2 tickets to a sold-out show and asked if the seats THEY recommended would be too close to the screen. They told me it would be fine. It wasn’t — who wants to watch a movie looking up for 2 hours? So my friend and I asked to swap tickets to see another movie playing at the same time and they said they couldn’t do that...I asked for a refund or a guest pass for a future date and they said they also couldn’t do that either. Asked for the manager and got nothing but “sorry, you can go to the later show that’s not sold out” — but it was showing way too late. So we left having paid the full amount for a movie we didn’t watch. That’s a lousy customer service experience if you ask me: the customer is not happy with the seats THEY chose and all that is offered is to wait 2.5 hours to watch the latest show...or nothing. Yeah, not a happy night at the movies. But otherwise the theaters are clean, look fine / sound fine. Just, if you go to a sold out show, be careful about the seats you agree to because they are non-refundable.

Seeing a movie seems like a waste of time when on vacation in a foreign country but we had such a blast here. It is a great way to escape the heat, slow down from trying to see everything, and just enjoy the moment. If you got some time to kill, definitely worth a visit. The theater was very clean and tickets were like $5-6 USD. They have reserved seating which is good to know. They also have a variety of popcorn flavors which was cool.

Went to the CGV in Hanoi. Nice cinema. Low price (100k 1 ticket = 3,75 euro), clean, good seats, english spoken. Located on 6th floor in vincom tower. First go to fifth and from there take elevator.
