We signed up for both the city tour & Street Food tour on 13th & 14th respectively.. And we are glad we did that.. Both the guides are extremely friendly and considerate.. Nga, our guide for the city tour took us to visit some of the famous spots of Saigon.. Unfortunately, we couldn't complete her itinerary as we were very tired from the earlier walking. When hearing that, she took us to rest and enjoy the coffee at one of the famous Cafe.. After rested, we started to visit 2 more places. Heiley is our guide for the street food tour. She really did her homework after knowing of certain restrictions on our diet.. She took us to one of the local food market where most locals patronize.. We really enjoyed all the local delicious food, eating the local way at the local price.. Thanks so much to both the friendly and helpful guides.. Strongly recommended.. Thumbs up.!

The free walking tour of the city center was not the best. Because hotel pick-up was not allowed (although staying in district 1), we asked if we could start the tour 30 min later. It was no problem but actually it was, as we had to rush from one spot to the other to be on time for the reunification palace (as it closes at a specific moment). The explanations were quite brief and english was not superb. It was a bit dissappointing

We booked this tour on short notice and were glad we could still make a reservation. Though communication with the agency is a bit slow (both via email and WhatsApp). We were picked up at our hotel by two students. Long and Mi (don't know if I got the proper spelling). We took a taxi to a local market, which seemed to be one of the smaller and unknown markets. And were introduced to lots of interesting and tasty food. Lemon grass skewers, rice paper rolls, bun cha, coconut water, coconut ice cream, grilled banana and some more (difficult to remember all of it). Always explained what it was, what it contained of or where it came from by our guides. As the tour is a free tour the agency asks you to pay for your guides transport and food. But on the market everything is so incredible cheap. Tour lasted for about 2 hrs (excluding transport). We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it for anybody being interested in local food and drinks. And don't forget to tip your guides at the end of the tour as they're doing a marvelous job.

We scheduled the food tour and the city tour and luckily got the same guide, Heiley for both! The best part about this experience was getting to know a true local, their favorite foods and learning things about their culture that you can’t find in a museum. She was so accommodating and flexible when it came to timing, walking distance and our interests. She helped us to translate, order transportation and best of all try all the delicious local favorites! I would highly recommend this tour and Heiley and Doan as guides!
