Having had no experience in Vietnam it was a fantastic way to meet the locals and learn more about the area, country and culture. We experienced 2 x Saigon free tours ( morning tour around the city and evening street food tour) and our guides Dong, Quinh, Ding and Messio were excellent. Thouroughly recomend both tours.

We're very lucky to be able to book a tour here with Saigon Free Day Tours. Although the organization is new, they do have lots of promising young student guides and we're very fortunate to have Long and My accompany us in the said activity.

They brought us to a popular local street food hub and let us try very tasty dishes from noodles to quail eggs to vietnamese pizza and coconut ice cream.

We so love everything that they served us especially the vietnamese pizza. They're also the friendliest guides ever. You're country should be really proud of you guys. We wish you the best luck with your studies and we hope to meet with you soon when we get back to Vietnam.

Being a first timer in Saigon, I decided to get three tours so I can really experience what the city offers - and I am happy I did because the experience is just phenomenal!

I had a morning City Tour with Quynh. She showed and took me to the City Hall, Independence Palace, the Cathedral - and she had interesting stories in each of the places we have been to.

I had an evening Food Tour with Thanh Lonh. He showed me great places to eat. I now know that Bun Bo Hue is better than Pho! He was very accommodating of my requests and I am grateful that he waited while I finished a short meeting.

I had an afternoon tour of Chinatown with Tam. We visited 3 amazing temples and he told me interesting stories about the different statues, deities and symbolisms found in the temple. We also made the tour somewhat of a food tour as we ate Xio Mai, Ha Kaw, Ta Hu and Hot Pot!

All of three guides were enthusiatic, very knowledgable and very eager in making sure that I was enjoying the tour! I am realy grateful to them for making my stay in Saigon truly memorable! Thank you so much guys!

I highly recommend this company to anyone and everyone. We help the students practice their english and we learn more about the beautiful culture of this country.

Signed up for this not knowing what to expect. Trúc and Ling were waiting patiently at our reception as we had ran late in traffic. They had a well thought out list of places to visit and types of food to try. Trúc was full of knowledge about Saigon and Vietnam and had many interesting facts. Would definitely recommend it!

We booked this tour on short notice and were glad we could still make a reservation. Though communication with the agency is a bit slow (both via email and WhatsApp).
We were picked up at our hotel by two students. Long and Mi (don't know if I got the proper spelling).
We took a taxi to a local market, which seemed to be one of the smaller and unknown markets. And were introduced to lots of interesting and tasty food. Lemon grass skewers, rice paper rolls, bun cha, coconut water, coconut ice cream, grilled banana and some more (difficult to remember all of it). Always explained what it was, what it contained of or where it came from by our guides.
As the tour is a free tour the agency asks you to pay for your guides transport and food. But on the market everything is so incredible cheap.
Tour lasted for about 2 hrs (excluding transport).
We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it for anybody being interested in local food and drinks.
And don't forget to tip your guides at the end of the tour as they're doing a marvelous job.

We had the pleasure of taking a walking tour of Ho Chi Minh City's tourist district. Our guides, Hoy and Fo- both students were knowledgeable and spoke good English.

We started with the Ben Thanh market, and walked to the Opera House, followed by a visit to the city's main Post office. This is a fully functional post office with several souvenir counters. We could not go inside the Notre Dame cathedral as it is under renovation.

We walked past the Independence palace, which is a sprawling complex amidst lush greenery, to the War memorial museum. You can spend several hours there going through the exhibits. It is fascinating because unlike other government museums, the stories are told as seen by the eyes of war reporters from Japan, France, US and UK; among other countries. There is a poignant children's exhibits section.

We ended up having a great lunch at a restaurant recommended by our guides. Overall, a great experience.

This proves that there are really some things in life that are free and still amazing. We are so grateful to Saigon free day tours and our two student guides that gave of their free time to show us some of their city.
We spent the better part of the morning at the War Remnants Museum which was a totally educational and emotional insight to this beautiful country and its people's brutal past.
Highlight's before and thereafter included the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame church and Post Office.
We did a fair amount of walking but managed quite nicely and had a small journey by car with no expense to ourselves. The only cost was the entrance fee to the museum.
The tour was slightly modified to meet our request and having someone explain everything along the way was extremely beneficial.
A huge thank you to our guides and Saigon Free day tours.
A must do for any tourist in Saigon that is interested in some history.
