One of my favorite tings about visiting Vietnam is the barber shop straight edge razor shaves (head and face). I've visited many and Brother's is as good as it gets. They really took their time and made sure that every edge of the beard was straight and the head was perfectly smooth. I read online that it is on the first floor which was deceiving because apparently they consider what I call the first floor the "ground floor" so you will have to take a few flights of stairs. You will enter the art alleyway and make your first right then hit the stairs at the end of the hall. Once upstairs you will have the pleasure of walking through the Couleurs by Rehahn gallery which is a must see. Two birds with one stone here. You can definitely find a less expensive shave in town but the experience will not match Brothers. I look forward to returning next year.

Hard to know where to begin. If I could rate them 6 out of 5 I would. Absolutely amazing experience. True VIP treatment with excellent skilled staff. Honestly can't recommend enough. Best male salon I've been to anywhere in the world. They really take their time doing treatments, absolutely never rushed, I really felt extremely well looked after.

Best haircut experience I’ve had in a long long time. Very clean and classy place. Great attention to detail and the massage shampoo was amazing. Been traveling SE Asia for the past month from the US and needed a trim. This place was perfect. Heads up, they stay busy so don’t expect them to sit you down right away. You may have to come back a half hour or hour later. Totally worth it though.

Haircut was fine. Beard trim also fine. Shampoo/Massage was good. However, I'm used to a Vietnamese barber who shaves every nonessential hair from my head. I even said eyebrow trim and was assured that that came later. It didn't. Neither were my face, neck nor ears shaved. All he did was run the electric clippers over my cheeks. I had to shave when I got back to my hotel and looked in the mirror. Really disappointed. For a fifth of the price at a regular barbershop, my hair and beard came out looking like the models in the haircut book. Not here though. Here my hair and beard just looked shorter and face still scruffy. The one thing special about this place was that they really kept the loose hair under control. That's something I don't like about most barbers, the fact that I basically have to take a shower to get the trimmings off. Here they regularly cleaned me off with brushes and a lint roller. Still, totally not worth it. They seemed hurried, trying to get to the next customer. That is not the feeling I want when I go in to a fancy salon and spend silly amounts of money. Wish I'd gone to the normal barber instead. Shop was clean and classy looking, furniture in good shape and comfy, and a good selection of booze. Just so you know, though, the price has gone up, according to the other reviews. Way up. Now well over 500k (570VND? Don't remember exactly) for the full service, which in my case was more like 3/4 service. Won't go back. I'm wondering if these other reviewers have ever been to a Vietnamese barber before? Take it from me, amazing service is the norm among barbers here. It's one of my favorite things about the place. My friend's haircut looked really good, but they shampooed him before haircut because the barber was busy. They should have just had one of us wait instead of doing it backwards. I don't mind waiting when I walk in to a barber without an appointment. That's how it works. Lesson learned. If you're dead set on going here, maybe make an appointment?

Gents, this is the place to be if you are in need of a quick trim or a more robust barber shop experience. Not exactly cheap, but then again you are not sat outside on the street corner, either. Discovered via FB, Brothers has a delightful staff, a talented barber (same guy for me on both trips, and a lovely owner. Located in a very cool space next to L'Usine, they use high quality products and offer a higher level of hospitality and expertise. I'll be back!

My brother and I went here to get our first haircuts in Asia. Honestly, expectations where low but this place was amazing. Pure business and very quick. Listened to all my requests and we came out looking quite handsome.

I was in HCMC for business and needed to go for a quick haircut. . Staff was very professional and courteou, as soon as I walked in (my hotel concierge made an appointment) I was offered a chilled glass of water with a smile and the receptionist walked me through other services they offer, for instance, Men's pedicure, Facials for Men among many other services. I would highly recommend this place if you need a haircut or any other salon services they offer for men.

Excellent shave, use of nice smelling towels and products and very gentle and attentive to detail. Also the shop has a very calming and relaxing atmosphere.
