Xin chao! My name is Lee Hogen. I am A Local Tour Guide in Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City. I have been working as a tour guide for 6 years in Vietnam. Therefore, i have more experience and understand what clients want; how to meet their demand; make the differences. I am living in Saigon- Ho Chi Minh city. I love the life in the city so much and understand how local life going by. I love my country and have a Big Passion For Vietnamese Culture and Local Life And Local Food that reason why I would love to share with tourists about THE SPECIALS in the city. I was born in Mekong Delta so that i really understand my home town. I can make you immerse and explore Mekong Delta as local people. I can't recommend Lee Hogen and his team highly enough. Having not been to Vietnam before I was a little nervous about whom I should book through but after some research I contacted Lee and had no issues whatsoever. Lee organised our airport transfers and his poor driver didn't complain waiting over two hours for us at HCM airport whilst we dealt with a missing suitcase. We then did the Cu Chi tunnels/Mekong Delta tour and our guide Tung was fantastic! He made sure we were comfortable, didn't miss anything out nor hurry us along and the lunch was amazing. If we'd have had time we would definitely have done a food tour with Lee. Lee also put us in touch with somebody else to arrange airport collection at Nha Trang. Not sure of the cost comparison with any other tour guides but like others say you get what you pay for and we were more than happy.

We found Lee on a Vietnam travel Facebook page with many good reviews so reached out via WhatsApp.
Lee offered all of the tours we wanted to do - Cu Chi Tunnels, Mekong Delta and food tour of HCM.
Our guide, T, met us at the hotel at 6:45am so we could beat the crowds to the tunnels and Mekong and when we got there we were the only ones! T took us through the history of the Cu Chi tunnels and was very knowledgeable.
When we got to the Mekong, we got a large boat by ourselves to the smaller canals where we were on a private canoe through the water coconut trees, it was beautiful.
He made sure we were back in the city with enough time to relax before our food tour.
For our food tour Vy and Ben picked us up on scooters from our hotel. They asked what Vietnamese food we had already tried and when we told them what we had tried they came up with a special itinerary for us so we could try new Vietnamese foods!
They were both great drivers and we felt so safe the whole time. Both Vy and Ben know so much about the history of HCM and were happy to share their knowledge.
Some of the foods we tried were Cơm tấm (broken rice), Bò kho (beef stew), bánh tráng nướng (Vietnamese pizza) and flan for dessert.
All of the food was delicious and in places we would never have thought to eat.
We would highly recommend these tours to anyone visiting HCM.

The perfect way to go from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh is definitely on a Mekong Delta Tour. Our guide, TRI, with TNK Travel was fabulous and shared information and thoughts in a humorous and thoughtful way. We spent time at the usual stops - candy factory, noodle making, etc., but these didn't distract from how much fun - and interesting they were. The TNK tour was reasonably priced and great fun.

We arranged two private tours to the Mekong Delta and Cu Chi tunnels through Lee Hogen. We were fortunate to have Cong as our guide for both trips. He spoke excellent english and ensured we had very enjoyable tours. Cong took time to understand what we wanted and went out of his way to ensure that we were relaxed and looked after. He introduced us too many locals along the way and would follow up on any questions we had. The two days passed far too quickly. Overall amazing tours and would highly recommend.

We booked two tours with Lee Hogan and his team at Tour Guide in Saigon and they definitely delivered the goods. Private Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta tour offered 'less touristy' options, so we found ourselves the only tourists on both days - with no crowds or waiting, which suited us perfectly. We loved the Ben Tre Province, where once again, we were the only tourists! Such a great insight into their lives and beautiful culture. Our English speaking guides David and Mr T were fun to be around and very knowledgeable. Lee Hogan was super responsive and extremely helpful in planning our experiences. Transport by private, clean cars, local seafood lunch on the Mekong and freshly made coconut sweets topped off the trip. We would highly recommend Tour Guide in Saigon. (Family of 4

My family of 6 took a private day tour with Lee Hogan to the Mekong Delta. Our guide Tung was friendly, patient, knowledgeable and courteous.
Everything about the tour was professional, from the transport, communication, and the food! Lees tour costs 2-3 times the price of other tours available, but you get what you pay for. We didn’t see another tourist all day. Just a private tour of everyday Vietnamese life along the Mekong, in comfort.
We’ve used Lee before, and we’ll use him again. Just the best! Thanks Tung for everything.

Lee and his team have been fantastic. I booked a chi chi tunnel and Mekong day trip for 6 adults. The van was spotless, comfy and our guide Teung was absolutely sensational. I actually booked Lee’s company to collect us at the airport and all transfers to hotels and day trip . I booked him from australia and upon arrival at busy Ho Chi Minh , there was a fellow with a huge sign with our names. Seamless and exactly what you need in a foreign country. I would not hesitate to recommend Lee and his team .

Where do I even start? If you only do 1 outing in Vietnam the motorbike food tour in Ho Chi Minh is it. We were a group of 4 and our 4 guides J, T, Tony and Talia were so engaging and fun and made us feel relaxed and happy from the moment they greeted us outside our hotel. They welcomed us to parts of the city and introduced us to the tastes, sights, sounds and smells we would never have experienced without their guidance. This was an experience we will talk about for the rest of our lives. The food was a delight. We felt safe on the bikes and rest assured the food is safe for even the most sensitive western stomach. My advice, do this at the end of your trip because I don't think anything else could live up to it.

My family and I booked around 4 tour guides with Mr. Lee Hogan, we were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding knowledge of all our guides. The tour guides, especially Peter (Phat Ly), were extremely friendly and easy to talk to. I can say proudly that my family and I have very fond memories with Lee and his team, we look forward to going back to HCMC and visiting them again in the future.

We did the jeep night food tour in HCMC.
Vy was our beautiful guide. She spoke excellent English, has a beautiful smile and is very knowledgeable about Vietnamese food and culture. We went to several local Vietnamese food eatery that were filled with Vietnamese people, true local cuisine. Each place was very different to the next, then we went into the market for true street food and learnt so much. We finished the night at a fantastic rooftop bar overlooking the city lights and the Saigon river.... Magical.
The jeeps were so much fun and the drivers were great.
I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience HCMC at night, with great guide, and experience delicious local food with the locals... Not the touristy places. Truly fantastic 😍😍💯🎉🎉

She was knowledgeable, resourceful, English-speaking and pleasant to deal with. You can reach her by email or telephone, remembering the 12 hour difference.
Our guides and drivers were excellent and always waiting for us when we arrived at the airport in each new location.
