I joined the one day trip in Mekong Delta last week. Our guide Thao shared a lot of infomation to us, her English and photo taking skills are excellent.
Most of the Mekong songs are sad songs, there is an interesting reason behind, you may ask the guides when you join this tour :D

Our tour guide Ms Thao from Saigon Cafe Travel was very enthusiastic. Pick up from our hotel was on time. Amazing views, a lot to see, and so much to learn! If you do this tour try to ask for Ms Thao because she knows a lot, passionate about what she does, and cracks jokes to keep you laughing and smiling.
It was a private tour just exclusively for me and my girlfriend with a good reasonable price.
This trip has been a great historical experience for us and we will recommend this to anyone who visits HCMC.

This is our second trip with Saigon Cafe Travel. The owner, Tiny Pham, organised a 17 day trip for my family in 2015 from Hanoi to HCMC; it was our first time in Vietnam and we had an amazing time.
Two years on, we wanted to return to southern Vietnam and spend some time in the Mekong Delta and then have two weeks in Cambodia. Tiny arranged our itinerary (with input from me) and we went from HCMC to the Mekong, back to HCMC for a flight to Siem Reap, on to Battambang, then Phnom Penh, Kep and finally back to Phnom Penh for our return home yesterday. All throughout, we had great guides who spoke good English and were really friendly. Tiny has become a friend and is entirely trustworthy. UK folk wanting to travel in SE Asia can save a considerable amount of money by booking tours with operators in the countries you want to visit, and our experience shows there's no dip in quality.

I was doing a solo trip, did not feel that the tour guide made the effort to make me feel comfortable in the setting. There were almost 10 ppl in the group (most of them Australians), so perhaps it is hard for her to pay attention, but I can definitely see that her attention and interest is focused more towards the Western Tourist instead of the Asean Tourist. Generally a pretty awkward social setting.

To be honest this company really needs to up its game if they are going to make money scamming tourists. Firstly, I booked a car to Vang Tau beach. The car picked me up on time and I paid the 75USD. Next, I was contacted by Tiny Pham saying how he tried to find me at my hotel and wanted a full reimbursement for his services or he’d contact the ‘travel police’. I have never seen hilarious scams like this before and can’t believe this idiot actually thought I’d pay!!! Please do not use Tiny Pham’s services as he’s a con artist! I have emails to prove if trip advisor wants proof!!!

Just booked blindly with a vietnam tour company, did not expect the outcome to be so good, we have a very considerate tour guide which is Thao, a young and pretty lady that can speak well in english, explain well of vietnam culture and also history, the food being offered is good as well, do book with this tour company if you wish to go for mekong delta 1 day tour, they can provide you excellent service, keep in mind that if you pay peanuts then you get peanuts, the price for this trip booked with this tour company consider reasonable and their service is extremely good, pickup us at hotel on time too. Highly recommended. Pickup > bicycle ride > pray at temple > nice lunch at homestay bside river > river boat to coconut shop > listen to their traditional music or guitar > to bee farm > back to hotel

We did a private tour with Katherine as our guide. We had a great day. Katherine was a great host with lots of energy and very personable. She had good local knowledge and looked after us very well. The places we visited were interesting. It is a long day however with several hours traveling so be prepared. Recommended for other travelers looking for an adventure!

Catherine was an awesome tour guide! She took us through and amazing pagoda, a beautiful authentic Vietnamese lunch, motor boat ride through the river and a row boat ride where we even tried honey tea and coconut candy!

We booked two tours each one day:
#1 - Cu Chi Tunnels / Mekong Delta
#2 - Can Gio (Monkey Island)
We had a fantastic time on both days. Our guide, Catherine, was friendly, knowledgeable, spoke great English, and was fun. Gaun (sp?) was also friendly and seemed to know how to get around Ho Chi Minh’s notorious traffic with ease.
Both days the pick up was on time from our hotel and the coordination was very easy. Catherine checked in with us throughout the day to adjust times to ensure we stayed ahead of the crowds. Really can not say enough good things on how well the tours went.
We would not hesitate to book with Saigon Cafe Travel again!
