About an hour+ drive in fact 1.5 hours to be exact considering the jam around the area was quite bad.
Played all the 27 holes in Twin Dove. Also played Jeong San golf course which I am unable to provide a review as it was not found in trip advisor. Comparing these 2, I prefer Jeong San as a better golf course due to:
- Lesser Crowd at Jeong San. Jeong San a nice riverside course is shorter and I personally feel easier than Twin Dove. Though maintenance was not as good as Twin Dove.
- Shorter distance (probably because of the jam around Twin Dove where route to Jeong San got a lot more highway travelling)
- Better caddie services as our caddies in Twin Dove gave the worst attitude in the 4 courses we played in this trip.
Apart from this to be fair, Twin Dove has the best course maintenance I see in the 4 courses we played, including Tan Son Nhat. Suprising though because our caddies never bothered to fill up divots but their fairways are still pristine and their greens are great. Challenging course at Luna and Sole where few long holes make it difficult for short hitters like me. Stella course is shorter and when we played it, the greens are going through coring but ball still rolled well even though it can be distracting.
Only thing lacking from a 5 stars would be the caddie services. But I won't say all of them are like that because my other buggy mates had better caddie attitude.
Examples - we topped up to play 36 holes. Our caddies kept asking us to stick to 27 and were not happy when we decided on 36. Another incident, after we finished 27 holes, they asked us to repeat Stella again when it was the last 9 hole we just finished playing. No one play 36 holes to repeat 2 same 9 holes simultaneously.
They cited less crowded. Thank god we went there and a 4 ball flight was preparing to tee-off. This was the first time I encounter caddie pulling a long face when golfer actually extended their game.
Would love to play it again if there's a chance and hope to encounter better caddies.

On average a worthwhile play. But course was less challenging than I thought. Kinda flat. Caddies were good. But spoiled by high spending Japanese and Koreans who go there in droves. They want more than what the average tips tend to be in VN which is typically between 200 and 400k VN Dong.

One hour drive from Saigon. Nice and elegant clubhouse. Good food and beverage. Nice fairways and greens. Recommendable.

Played 18 holes today. Course seems to be good.Till the time we played the caddies were good But as soon as we finished they refuse to take the tip which was being offered by us and demanded for more. And they were asking 500000vnd each. i enquired from the reception and she said that it is not on club it is between u and the caddies. But the club management have to have some regulating authority on the caddies. I felt harassed.

The club is about 1 hour drive from Ho Chi Minh city. The club has good arrangements with a good club house and changing room. The course is both interesting and challenging for all llevels of golfers. The course has been newly developed, so the vegetation is yet to get the grandeur that comes with time and age. The caddies are courteous but one cannot depend on them for any guidance on the course.

This was the first course we played in during our Vietnam golf holiday. The course was nearly two hours drive from the Ho Chi Minh Airport. The roads were narrow and full of trucks and motorbikes.
Our golf tour provided us with free lunch. The lunch buffet choice was excellent. Japanese, Korean, Western and Vietnamese cuisine was available. The clubhouse was luxurious and offered a full view of the golf course.
The golf course itself was fairly challenging, it offered wide, well manicured fairways and good greens. The greens were very undulating and it was the prime defense of the course. There were three nines in the course and we played the Luna and Stella Courses. I felt the Stella Course offered a little more challenge than the Luna Course.
The caddies were fairly knowledgeable, except that they kept improving the lies of our balls while they were in play. We had to keep reminding them not to touch the balls.
This is a course I will be willing play again.

Don't know how long this course is open but it is a reasonable challenge. Not a very imaginative course by any means but your 2nd shots need to be reasonably well hit. Excellent clubhouse and very friendly staff. Club website says that there is a big golf shop .. But it is he smallest I have seen in Vietnam with very little for sale. One confusing thing for experienced golfers to note. There are 3 x 9 Holes and unbelievably each course is index rated 1 to 9. There is no Index 10 for example nor any higher index than 9. With most European golfers playing Stableford there appears to be no way to accommodate this scoring system. Normally when there are 3 x 9 holes a composite 18 hole card is available showing index 1 to 18 .. Seems to be a serious omission by the course planners.mCaddies were very helpful and pleasant.

If you alone, they don't want you... I tried to come and book stay and play for 2 days, play 18 + 27 Holes, but 2 times they refuse me...

Played Twin Dove today and it was in very good conditions. The club offers 27 holes and all are interesting and challenging.The caddies are very friendly and knowledgeable, but don't speak much English. Understanding each other is tricky. Every three holes are " drink houses" available for ice cold water or other refreshments. The club facilities are great. The Restaurant is good too, the service is friendly and attentive.

I had great experience at Twin doves golf course. It is such an amazingly beautiful golf course in Vietnam, just 01 hour by car from Ho Chi Minh city. The clubhouse was incredible with luxury design and facilities. The restaurant with glasses surrounding to make you feel deep in nature and enjoy good foods.
