We are a family with 3 small children so we booked two private tours with 7 seat car and English speaking tour guide. On day 1 we wanted to go to Cu Chi Ben Duoc tunnels. They respected our wish to avoid the other more touristic Cu Chi location. We asked to be picked up at 9 a.m. They were around 10 minutes late to pick us up on both days (not a big deal but they write in their rules that if the customer is late for pick up it may lose the trip, so they should also be more rigorous). The car did not have all seat belts working and we were very upset with that because we like to travel safely, especially with kids. There was an unrequested and not even notified stop at a disabled people workshop where they sold hand made products. We actually enjoyed visiting and learning about the crafts techniques and the products but we did not want to buy anything and we had the feeling that that left our guide in a bad mood. Although he was silent almost all of the trip or talking to the driver, when we got to Cu Chi he actually gave us a lot of interesting information. We were however a bit uncomfortable when he invited other visitors to join us. It would have been ok if we still had his full attention but we didn't feel that way. The tour to the Mekong was more like a taxi service. We received no information whatsoever and we were left alone for quite long periods of time without no explanation. We were really hoping to teach something to our kids about the daily life at the Mekong and it was such a disappointment! I had read about tours where the kids can see the bee hives and learn how to make the coconut candy...no luck for us on that. Lunch was really poor, especially after looking at everyone else around us who were getting fish and shrimps...we had one piece of chicken for each and rice! We still had to pay extra for the drinks (we knew that beforehand though) which are overpriced. On the positive side, our boat tours were very nice because we got a boat only for our family and we really enjoyed that, so I think 3 stars is a fair rating.

I travelled to Vietnam recently with myself, my husband and two children (6 and 10). We went to VIETNAM MEMORY TRAVEL COMPANY located near Ben Thành markets. We were sold a tour which left 4am to go to the floating market. We we told it was an all day tour, roomy private car with seat belts and our choice of stops( as it was a private tour). The tour was terrible. Rushed and very basic. The guide couldn’t speak English, was on his mobile phone for most of it and didn’t engage with us and had poor local knowledge. The markets were really small and disappointing. We arrived back after only a few hours, despite paying for a whole day. We didn’t get a choice where to stop. The vehicle was cramped and seat belts that didn’t work. We paid a lot of money for this tour and it was not worth it. When we complained, we were not assisted at all. Really dodgy company. DONT USE THIS COMPANY.

We had a fantastic time with our 2 guides Loan, and Phoung. They were very knowledgable, the food was amazing and we had a great time. I felt very safe with them on the bike in such a crazy busy city. I would highly recommended the experience.

Stumbled across this place at Ben Thanh market and booked two tours with Amy, Greta service and price is better than all the other agencies. Last day in Saigon wanted to go to Cu Chi last minute and it was all organised hassle free. Got a free motorbike ride too! Great thanks to Amy and her brother will defo recommend to friends.
