Having heard about Turtle Lake from a review we thought we would have a look ourselves, it was a very relaxing place to sit and people watch. We went during the day, can imagine it's better in the evening.

Local hang out for young people. Refreshing to see people talking and not just on their phones. Street snack vendors come out at night. Really interesting to just watch them make the snacks, then sitting and people watching. Recommend trying the Banh trang tron.

We'd seen this on several youtube channels and Andrew Zimmerman etc and wanted to try the street food. We went at lunch time and they're is literally nothing and no one there. Not even water in the lake! We went back around 6.30pm and it...More

Small lake that is a popular teenage hang out. A must visit a night when it is illuminated and the most busy. Good street snacks available and coffee shops adjacent. Great for photos.

Definitely something worth skipping, concrete architecture, nothing interesting to be seen there except for local students on benches with crazy traffic around you.

No it is not a lake, but rather a large fountain setup. Many bridges cross the fountain area and many local people sit out of an evening, on the connecting bridges, enjoying a light meal, a little snuggling and the nigh time cool.

Honestly, it’s just a dirty pond in the middle of the city. I purposely took an Uber there so it was very disappointing for me. There are some cafes and restaurants nearby so you can get nourishment after your utter disappointment.

This place fills with young couples as the sun goes down. Its not so much a lake as it is a cement structure with stairs towards the center. There are numerous coffee and tea shops encircling this roundabout. Grab a drink and relax while people...More

Hung out at turtle lake circle on a park bench watching the world go by before dinner. Many students and young couples come here to meet and snack on street food, a local hangout. A tall concrete structure like a giant flower in a pool...More
