We have visited Vietnam a number of times. This time a Vietnamese friend recommended Mr Ha from Rosanta travel to show us around the Old Quarter. Mr Ha showed us a number of places we had not visited before. He was very helpful in showing us where to buy items we previously could not find. For example he helped us find and negotiate a good price for some material to recover the seat of a scooter. He also showed us some great local eating places where the food was cheap and very safe to eat. If you want some help negotiating the sometimes chaotic streets of the Old Quarter I would definitely recommend Mr Ha.

My self, wife and son planned one-week trip to Vietnam and contacted many travel agents. After getting proposal from all local travel agents, I found that the one which sent by Mrs. Ha Thao (Rosanta) was very attractive and also well within my budget. She and her team was very much corporative and eager to help whatever they are able to do. When we arrived in Hanoi, everything was well arranged. Guides were very much cooperative and good english speaking. Transportation facility which they provided met our expectations. Hotel accomodation was very nice.
We started our trip from 23rd Dec 2017 to 29th Dec 2017, We spend one day in Hanoi, one day in HaLong bay (memorable night with Xmas party and Champagne), 2 days in Da Nag and remaining days in Ho Chi Minh City. People in Vietnam is very nice, we got good treatment from all directions, and we loved the place.
Initial plan to visit only 2 places then based on my request included Da Nang also along the trip. But Ha Thao advised me that visiting three places within one week will be stressful for us, yes it was little with lot of travelling,,,but it was very much thrilled. In Da Nang it was drizzling and temp was somewhere close to zero C it was nice to see with fog and raining even though hands were chilling. My son enjoyed well especially lot of in-house games for kids.
I may plan to visit the place again with my friends.

My wife and I booked a private cruise on HaLong by through Rosanta Travel and Mr. Ha. The trip did not disappoint. Mr. Ha was on time picking us up from our hotel and getting us to the water right on time. The cruise was awesome and Mr Ha was pretty knowledgeable about the landscape and history of the Bay. Part of the cruise included a meal which was basically a 4 course meal full of fresh seafood. There was so much food and it was seriously delicious. I would highly recommend Rosanta. Our full day was everything promised, the price was very good and the scenery and attention to detail were awesome.

Everything was well taken care off perhaps with their collaboration with another tour agency and its wonderful tour guide, Mr Tuan Anh Dao, which ahas made the day trip extremely memorable and interesting.

I've used Mr Ha in the past to organise a day trip to Halong bay and that was a great experience.
This time round, we had him organise a 10 day itinerary and he went beyond our expectations.
We did 3.5 days in Sapa -> 2 days Halong Bay -> 2 days in Cat Ba -> rest of the trip in Hanoi.
When we arrived at Hanoi Airport, he organised a car to pick us up and made a reservation at a restaurant that he recommended, before we hopped on our 8hr Sleeper train to Sapa. From the restaurant to the Hanoi Train station, Mr Ha escorted us all the way to our train cabin and provided us with beer, soft drinks, bananas and snacks to enjoy on our train ride.. that was a super nice touch!
Sapa: Mr Ha chose a beautiful hotel very close to the starting point of our two day trek.
We arrived at 6am after our overnight VIP sleeper train from Hanoi -> Sapa.
Even though we were not staying that night at the hotel, we could leave our luggage, freshen up with a shower and had breakfast before we started our overnight trek at 9am. The trek was great! And i'm super glad i invested in waterproof hiking shoes and pants from Decathalon! It was wet, muddy but adventurous!
He organised a beautiful homestay in Ta Van Village. When you hear 'homestay' you think a hall and hammocks.. which some of the travellers had. Mr Ha organised a BEAUTIFUL home stay with private hot showers and a view of the rice fields and river. We definitely appreciated that, after our day long, wet & muddy hike!
Halong Bay: As we wanted to continue to Cat Ba after our Halong Bay tour, the only option was a 2star boat.. and that's exactly what it was. Mr Ha made it clear that it was 2 star to us though. If we knew better, we would have started at Cat Ba and ended in Halong bay, just to experience a nicer and fancier boat.
We did two whole days on Halong bay (including an overnight stay on the boat) and i felt it was one day too long. One day on Halong is plenty!
But, do note that a one day tour versus an overnight tour takes you to different parts of Halong Bay. I've done both.. and i did enjoy the overnight much more, due to it not being so rushed!
Cat Ba: Now this was wow! We arrived in the late afternoon and Mr Ha organised a romantic dinner for us at the hotel restaurant..This way we could just enjoy the rest of the night at the resort.. this was perfect! We had an ocean view room and it was soo nice to enjoy the night and the morning chilling on the balcony watching and hearing the lapping waves.
The trip was amazing and Mr Ha called or WhatsApp me in every town to ensure that we got on the train/bus ok, that we checked into the hotel.
At one point when we were lost at Sapa, he even sent a representative to find us and take us to the right place.
He met us in every point in Hanoi to ensure that we got the service we requested.
I would definitely recommend Rosanta Travels and Mr Ha for your future Vietnam travels.
He was able to accomodate all our needs - whether it was a luxurious or budget travel request.

Yes, ThaiZebra the Halong bay tours will take you to different parts of Halong Bay:
1 tour: Halong bay tour with 4 hours of cruise (a half day from Halong City or one day from Hanoi City).
2 tour: Halong bay tour with 6 hours of cruise (a half day from Halong City or one day from Hanoi City).
3 tour: Halong bay tour with Overnight (sleep) on the cruise (two days from Hanoi City).
The itinerary of 6 hours cruise and the itinerary of overnight cruise is the same in Halong bay.
The Tonkin Gulf has different 3 parts: 1, Halong Bay 2, Bai Tu Long Bay 3, Lan Ha Bay. Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay are the most beautiful and belongs to Quang Ninh province.
If starting at Cat Ba you can only visit Lan Ha Bay, not Halong Bay (Only has islands in Lan Ha Bay; no caves; no panorama from on the top of Ti-Top Island...).
Lan Ha Bay belongs to Hai Phong province (different provinces; different state management). All the cruises can not go to Halong Bay if starting at Hai Phong or Cat Ba.
Perhaps, next time you can explore different parts of Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay to experience a nicer and fancier boat. We will ensure you fascinating trip.

I booked this several months in advance, but the communication was good from the beginning. I paid 30% upfront via a secure payment transfer site and the remainder when the guide picked me up. Everything was as described. Tour guide was very friendly and accommodating. Halong Bay was beautiful but it took 4 hours to get there and 4 hours to get back to Hanoi so it makes for a very long day. Lunch on the boat was included (except for drinks). In hindsight I would have spent a night in Halong Bay because of the distance between Hanoi. Overall, I'd recommend this agency for a tour. They are reputable and had great communication.

Our trip lasted three days from Hoi An Old Quarter to Hue Royal Citadel. We highly appreciate the services of Rosanta Travel. The tour was well- organized without mistake, variation in the planning. Mr. Ha was very friendly, helpful and reliable source to manage everything in that trip.
We felt very comfortable and contented with hotel service and the food was very delicious. And above the price was really reasonable. I vote Rosanta Travel with five stars. You have brought us wonderful feelings about that trip.
First destination was Hoi An Old Quarter where we had new experiences. In modern life, there was a peaceful and ancient place. Hoi An at night, it put on the new look with plenty of colorful lanterns. The poetic and beautiful Hue Royal Citadel was chosen as the second destination. Rosanta Travel gave us ideal place that attracted for tourists visiting a hidden charm of Viet Nam. Especially, I enjoyed the Hue cuisine at Royal restaurant. The food was great with characteristic of Hue city. I really liked the service in that place.
