We just returned from a great cruise at tour 2 days 1 night on ha long bay with Zambaka Travel. The boat was excellent, clean and had balconies, very comfortable. The crew cared us well and the food was sublime.

I cannot fault Zambaka Travel, this was our 2nd holiday with them. Everything went as planned and no complaints from my husband and I. Would definitely travel with them again. It was a full on whirlwind tour with the bonus of Angkor Wat for free. If I had to pick one place which I felt really relaxed in it was Hoi An. We had an excellent experience at a cookery class, very enjoyable. The meals on tour were of good quality, you could not want for anything. The guide was knowledgeable and looked after us very well nothing was too much trouble for him. Overall, if you wish to see Hanoi, Hoi An and Saigon then with tour 8-12 days filled the brief.

We booked the 2 day 1 night cruise through Zambaka having found them online. We travelled from Singapore to Hanoi, spent time there and then on to Halong Bay.
The booking process was well run. Our first choice Royal Palce was not available but Silverstream boat was perfectly good replacement. The minibus is a little cramped but works OK and a chance to see more of the country.
The organisation to get us and off the boat was spot on, the crew were great, and the food magnificent. It really is tremendous value. We didn't get the best of weather but it didn't soil the experience unduly. It is a shame that so many boats do the same thing as the consequent pollution is obvious in places but the scenery is wonderful and the activities well organised and safe.

Related to the shuttle bus, here is the general regulations of the old town management about the vehicles are allowed to move in the old town and narrow roads. However we will try to improve this issue.

My friend had a fun time at Halong Bay. Tour leader speaks pretty good English. Transportation is comfortable and clean. Our only criticism is the lunch to have more Vietnamese local dishes to try- not so much fried food but local fresh vegetable and such.

If you want to experience Vietnam and Cambodia as a local, while helping their economies in a socially responsible way then Zambaka Travel is your tour company. Zambaka's guides are highly intelligent, knowledgeable people who care about their countries. The schedule listed on the website is the true schedule. I would recommend Zambaka to anyone and have told my friends and family to take a trip with them.

It was one my memorable birthday on Royal Place Cruise for tour 2 days 1 nights to Halong Bay with my lover. The rooms were very spacious and a beautiful balcony. I want to thank to the Royal Place crew with their great things for us, with good food, meals provided was meet our preferences. A comfortable atmosphere that we received in the entire journey. Activities are well organized, we're very interested, as: bamboo trip, kayaking, Tai Chi morning, or cooking class. We would highly recommend this boat for anyone visiting Vietnam

The service they gave was first class on every level. the tour guide was so passionate about his country, he was so helpful. The restaurants that we were booked into were very good and a great service. we stayed in great hotels in great locations. I am already looking to book another tour with zambaka and will recommend to other travellers.

The guide was great, really knowledgeable and looked after us very well. Even in his free time when the day was finished he was willing to take us to places and constantly making sure we was ok and felt safe at any time.
Amazing, got to see so much a true once in a lifetime trip. Loved the cruise boat for halong bay so modern and luxury to a surprise when we researched junk boats. All hotels were spot on and the trips were out of this world. Early early starts around 5.30am was a bit of a off put as its such a long day but you understand why to try beat all the other tour groups. Would recommend this trip so highly, gutted its all over.

Phnom Penh Palace, Killing fields, Tonle Sap lake were the highlight of the tour in Phnom Penh. I loved that we could contribute to a clean water well for the rural villages. But the most interesting was 5 days in Seam Reap. Although there are many visitors, you can breathe an air of peace and the power that there was in the time it was built. A truly awe inspiring and spiritual experience.

we actually did the 18 day Indochina tour which included Vietnam.
This was the first time we had travelled with Zambaka and found the whole experince amazing. We traveled with a great team of of people as well which was important. We are both in our late 60's and found nothing too overwhelming and the guides were extremely helpful, kind and considerate. Would definatley go with them again.
