I booked a free walking tour again after a first good experience in Hanoi for on my last day one in Hanoi. Alissa WhatsApped me in advance saying she will meet me and take me through Hanoi. Alissa is a University student came on time and picked me up from homestay in Hanoi. I had a lovely tour with her, she was so kind and she let me know interesting historical details. She changed a bit of her plan, as per my requirements. She even changed the tour from morning to afternoon as I had some of the sites earlier and wanted to explore food places which you get more options in the evening. I'm glad she did coz it was pleasant to walk in the evening. We spent five hours together and it was such a great time exploring food, ancient house, Cathedral, train station, market, . She showed me some important places and took me to good food joints and nice local coffee shop to have coconut coffee- which honestly I would never find on my own. Best way to end my trip thank you for your time and kindness. All the best for your life. Fu, Lu, and Shou (prosperity, status and long life)

We booked a free city tour through an operator of Hanoi free local tour and Vikki was assigned to us. Vikki is very pleasant and spoke very good English. She gave good instructions to the driver of the vehicle we rented, so that we didn't have to walk much. She's very knowledgeable in the history of the few places we visited. She also shared many local culture things like burning of paper horses when we saw some at 1 of the temple. Thank you Vikki!

What a great afternoon I had with my ebuddie, Tony! I've asked for the French Quarter tour, but then we adjusted it slightly as I've already been to some of the places on the list. Through Tony's extensive knowledge, I learned a lot about Vietnamese culture and history. We ended our tour with me trying some egg coffee...a definite must! Thanks, Tony, for being so accommodating and for being such a wonderful guide!

30 Friday 2018 I did not know about Free tour offered in Hà Nội until i personally see HaNoi Ebuddies in the recognisable White T shirt. The booking was efficient and easy to navigate when made through a smartphone with App. Even though is a short 2.5 hours tour, the walking tour has provided at least an insight of what is Hoàn kiếm District for a 1st time foreigner in Hà Nội Vietnam. My guide was a young lady in her 20 speak rather fluent and understandable /conversational English with her explanations on this walking tour. The tour finished at Cộng Cafe with a Caphe cột dừa ( coconut coffe with ice smoothie VND 45 000) If you want a tourguide who can speak some Mandrin Chinese, can look for Nguyen Cui Lin 垂琳

We took 2 walking tours with ebuddies, and both were top notch! Our guides Emily and Phuc were outstanding! Phuc asked us what we wanted to see in Hanoi, and then proceeded to deliver us to each spot. With a comprehensive knowledge of the city, her ability to navigate traffic, and a superb grasp on the english language, it was a very satisfying tour. Emily took us to the BEST pho spot in all of Hanoi, and we really enjoyed the "lesson" on the correct way to eat pho. No pho pas for us!! I definitely got the nod of approval when I returned home and ate pho at our local vietnamese restaurant. Emily's english was so good, and it was really nice to have the local view on the history, food, and traffic! I would highly recommend Emily and ebuddies to anyone visiting Hanoi.
