Anna organised most of our trips, but Ms Lyn and Mr Bie were great too. Trekking in Sapa, Halong Bay cruise, train to Hue and flights from Danang back to Hanoi. They even threw in a complementary car to the airport when we flew home. They are well organised, helpful, reactive and available for questions, problem solving and everything ran very smoothly. Always with a smile ... we highly recommend them!

I found this travel office right the conner of the street, on the way to Hoan Kiem lake
I visited Hanoi after a week in Laos. I brought Kip from Laos, I can't do money change at Noi Bai Airport. I asked some counters there and they informed that I can change in the city. Luckily, I found Vietnam Cultural Tours and they help me to change to Dong. Excellent rate and I feel very happy.
I also bought a data sim card with them, very good price to compare with the price we checked at the airport. I paid 150,000 dong (around $6) for 4G internet access.
They also provide many tours packages but I already reserved before I come to Hanoi. I think that, with the tour package they also give very good price.

We booked a 2 day Halong Bay Trip and Tickets for the overnight train going south.
Anna arranged everything so perfect for us. We had a wonderful trip on the boat , picking up and bringing back to the hotel. 2 hours after we returned from the boat trip in Halong we had to go to the train station . She booked the tickets for us and picked us up by taxi, which we even did not have to pay. We felt in good hands with them.

Been on the Busstation in Hanoi Old Quarter 45min earlier during a heavy rain, but it did'nt came at 9 p.m. like announced. 15min later i called the number of the confirmation mail and the guy sad only that the bus has already been gone and hang up. I felt pretty much messed around by this company.

It’s time for me to say thank you to all the staff at Vietnam Cultural Tours for your hospitality. Our family had a very great vacation, all thanks to your help, advice and kindness.
When I returned Bangkok from Vietnam, my parents kept talking about the trip, about you. You guys are awesome, you work with all your heart. Fortunately, we found you to get the right advice. As you know, this is a very meaningful trip for my family, the most important thing is that my parents really like it. We didn't return to the office in time to thank you because of the time limited, but as I promised, I will recommend you to my friends and will write a review on tripadvior.com. I hope that you always keep that spirit of work, always maintain the quality of service as we enjoy. Thank you for upgrading the cabin on cruise for my parents, they enjoyed it because the room has a big balcony, nice view, clean and deserves 5 star service. If our parents' health still good, we will return to Vietnam and make sure we continue to contact you to book services. Once again, thank you so much!

Firstly, i want to share with you my situation in my trip to Ha Giang, Vietnam
I am solo traveler so i can't pay for own transportation to Ha giang. It is far from Hanoi so I booked a package and join group sharing with Vietnam Cultural Tours office. The trip was excellent in Ha giang, very beautiful place to visit but the transportation is horrible. As i told, i have to share sleeping bus, the passengers are most Vietnamese. I hv been to Ha giang city in early morning (4am), so i need a place for sleeping then get pick up by 6.30am. but unfortunately they drove me to 3 places but they can't find my name on booking, I finally slept in very tiny room and very poor amenity. I called Ms Lynh (travel agent) about that problem. Till 6:30 tour guide come to pick me up. Luckily, from pick up the trip turned in to excellent, local guide speak English so I can communicate easily. I have a good mood to joy the trip because of the scenery is so beautiful, weather was great and the hotel in Dong Van town is much better. There is nothing to say if the return day they can drop me off at the hotel in Hanoi. I have to catch taxi from station to hotel just because of driver, assistant can't speak English. Once again I called Lynh to help me. At 4am I can not do anything in a local bus station. I don't know which taxi is good. I heard many stories about scam taxi in Hanoi and I am worry about that. Lynh advised me wait for someone from the transportation company can speak English come to help me but I can not wait for longer. She gave me reliable taxi company name and I just pay for the meter. But I asked Lynh that I want to meet the manager at the office to complaint. then 2pm I came to the office, i told them my problems on tour. The manager listened to me carefully. He felt very sorry for me and asked his college why didn't mention clearly for share bus and temporary stay while wait for pick up. He explained me the difficulty of the trip to the new destination and sharing bus with many local people. He wish me understand and accept his apologies.
For the taxi fare I paid, he asked to give me back, for bad transportation with local and accommodation as I mentioned, he offered me free airport transfer on my last day.
I understand if i visit a new and remote area, i must accept lower standard. I found them very kind, listen, try to solve the problem so I accept.
I continued book the trip to Sapa, this trip was excellent as they promised. they discounted 15% for the trip because the problems happened to me in Ha Giang.
On the departure day, they arranged transportation for me to airport
Finally i must say, once problem happened, the most important is how you solve out. They do it well so that i will continue to use their tour service when i come back.
I recommend to you because i think i trust them and they pick up phone at anytime i call.

I booked 3 tours at Vietnam Cultural Tours office in Hanoi, all run well, and I love the Pu Luong 2 days trip the best. As they said that, Pu luong is a new place to visit, less touristy and still very natural. I have been to Halong bay, Trang An are beautiful but a bit crowded. Pu luong is different and that is the reason I love the most.
Staff at the travel agency is friendly, helpful and always listen to your need. They answer all your questions and also ready to make a plan for you. I am free and easy traveler, I did not make any plan yet, but only an hour, I booked 3 tours with them. The price I think it is not cheapest I guess but I am happy with the quality and services they provided me. Thank you girls at the office. You are the best!!
