I came across Golden Holiday Travel by searching Google. From my initial contact to the end of our Sa Pa sojurn, we could not have been more pleased.
Mr Ban arranged transportation and guide (Mau - she was perfect) to Sa Pa and return to Hanoi.
The car was a late model SUV ,and our driver Mr. Hai was very polite and curteous.
Mr Ban was as good as his word.
A great experience at an affordable price point.

Found the cab services I used to be very good. I had taken up a multi day multi destination package from Hanoi and the overall experience was really nice. Their cars are good and the drivers have excellent driving skills. Although the driver wasn't fluent in English (which most drivers won't be in Vietnam), they had an excellent backend support via phone/whatsapp/viber which works seamlessly and have on time response to any query. Recommended to anyone visiting Vietnam.

Normally, our clients booked our tour package with tourguide along, so our tourguide can support you at sight better.In case of your travelling with us by private car transfer & driver can not speak English, we always told our clients have our hotline on whatsapp, so in case of misunderstanding with driver, they could contact us by whatsapp easily & efficiently!

My family and I just finished an incredible 14 day tour of the beautiful rice terraced farmlands and mountainous regions of Northern Vietnam with Golden Holiday Travel. They were very easy to communicate with via E-mail. I told them what I was interested in seeing and they helped me plan an unforgettable off the beaten tour. We had a great private guide Vu who took us on beautiful treks and gave us information on the areas we visited and a super safe driver Nam who expertly maneuvered his way through the crazy winding narrow roads. We could have never done this on our own and it was good to have an English speaking guide to help with the day to day activities as no one spoke English in the areas we visited.
Golden Holiday Travel and Vu also helped with the homestay and hotel arrangements towards the second half of the trip where I could not find descent places to stay on my own via the internet and all the places they chose were spectacular. Next time I would just have them make all our homestay arrangements as they are experts in the area. We stayed at a different location every night as we wanted to cover a lot of ground and boy did we. There is sooooo much more to see in the North other than Sapa and with few to no tourists around. I would absolutely recommend them again.

Thank you very much for your excellent reviews about the trip experiences you had with Golden Holiday Travel to explore the Northeast & Northwest Mountains of Vietnam a few days ago ! Really we are all lucky with the good weather during your trip so it could do a great part for your ground exploration : nice views & convenient travelling between the regions. We expected that you could have had the best captivation of stunning rice fields & geogous mountainscapes the region have offered!
Thank you very much for your nice words to Mr Nam ( driver) & Mr Vu ( tourguide) that could be a big motivation to them and us to bring more travel insights to other clients who would love to explore those non-touristic attractions in the time to come ! Those northern mountains are new to tourists & far to reach with many winding roads & high passes so it will be safe to do with experienced driver & tourguide who will make your trips more incredable with off-beaten-tracked trekking routes & stopping places for sightseeing.
Also we highly appreciated that you put your trust on Golden Holiday Travel and did arrange the service with us a year ago, thus you can well-plan your journey and arrange the good personels ready for your trip in advance.
We do hope that you can drum up more about Vietnam's beautiful landscapes out there in United States so the American could know more about Vietnam & Vietnamese in your stories !

Like most of the reviews here, I came across this agency online (just from Google results) since we needed a private car to bring and tour us around Ninh Binh area.
We availed a private car service with a driver for 1 day for our trip from Hanoi to Ninh Binh and the tourist spots around it. As compared with the 2 other travel agencies that I was able to search for online prior to our trip to Vietnam this December 2016, Golden Holiday Travel offered the most affordable rate. Mr. Ban Vu DInh, the one who arranges the reservations responds quickly via emails. They accommodated the tourist spots we wanted to see, and also responded to our request to which available vehicle model could we use (we had a choice of Ford or Toyota).
They require a 30% deposit, which I sent through Western Union, then they gave me additional details for the private car service.
We paid to the driver after the tour for the remaining payment. Mr. Huy, our driver was very nice and excellent! He fetched us from our hotel in Hanoi then drove us to the different tourist spots in Ninh Binh, Tam Coc wharf, Hoa Lu temples, Hang Mua viewpoint, and lastly to our hotel in Tam Coc. Mr. Huy also drove us at a restaurant specializing in goat meat, as we requested.
They provided us with a Ford minibus, we were just 4 but it could sit around 10 or more passengers. My mom and travel companions were very satisfied as everyone can sit comfortably. Will definitely recommend this travel agency :)

We used Golden Holiday Travel just for transportation from Hanoi to Pu Luong Nature Reserve and then from Pu Luong to Ninh Binh. This was soo convenient as there is really no public transportation to get to these areas. Our driver Mr. Hai was very kind and always on time. He drove us in the teeming rain and at night to Pu Luong Nature Reserve on a Friday. He then stayed there for the weekend and drove us to Ninh Binh on Sunday. I would definitely use this service again!

I traveled back to Vietnam on a book research trip in 2009. Traveling from the USA, I left Denver and flew into Saigon on Easter Day to authenticate my writings of Vietnam. I met the kindest people along my route and they became more interested once I told them I was a veteran of the war that ended for America in 1973.
I flew from Danang to Hanoi and was a little worried as to how I would be treated but once meeting Mr. Ban at my hotel, I felt safe. Mr. Ban gave me a tour of the city finishing at the tomb of Ho Chi Minh. I was very impressed at Mr. Ban's mastering of the English language as well as the history of his country. He is a very knowledgeable person and loves his country. I would recommend Mr. Ban highly.

Golden Holiday Travel was very easy to deal with. I was travelling with my husband and we arranged a car and driver to take us to Sapa from Hanoi. Communication before and during our trip was easy and very responsive. The driver was also available during our stay to take us to see some of the local attractions. Mr Hung, our driver, looked after us very well. We didn’t speak Vietnamese and Mr Hung spoke a little English but we communicated very well using google translate. Would highly recommend using GHT for your trip to Sapa.

We came across Golden Holiday Travel online and we are extremely impressed with their efficient service and professionalism. We were amazed by the organization of the whole trip. Mr. Ban gave us advises from the very beginning and he provided such high quality service from planning our trip all the way until the day we arrived back home.
We spend 13 days in Vietnam starting in Hanoi and made up to Sapa, Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta. We stayed in 3 star hotels and they all offered such friendly and professional service and very clean. It was extremely well organised and everything went according plan.

Although speaks just very little English but he did a good job for us in this two days driving from Viet Tri to Sapa and back to Hanoi airport. He is always on time with smile on his face.
We feel comfortable with him in this trip.
We are planning to come back Sapa sone time in September 2020 for Terrace field photo and for sure will be arranged by Golden Holidays.
