Modern aesthetic bridge, nice concrete structure, not worth a special visit but it is en route from the airport.

Interesting looking bridge
Dec 2019
The Nhat Tan Bridge is a modern cable and concrete bridge that crosses the Red River in Hanoi and was first opened in January 2015. I travelled over the Nhat Tan Bridge on my first day when arriving from the airport to my hotel and could not stop looking at it as the taxi drove over the bridge. The bridge does light up at night, making it picturesque.

Modern concrete bridge
Jul 2019
This is a fairly typical modern concrete bridge. Aesthetically pleasing because of its design, but unless bridges are really your thing it's not really worth a special visit. You'll most likely pass over it on the way to or from the airport.

On Way to Airport
Jul 2019 • Friends
After six short months travelling South East Asia, I was with a mate in a Grab on the way to Hanoi Airport to fly back home to England.

The Nhat Tan Bridge is a large suspension bridge which crosses the red river which, at our time of crossing, was misty and enticing.

Last few reviews of South East Asia :(.

Wonderful lightly colorful bridge

Any color you like ~ When leaving great city Hanoi for this time and heading to the airport late evening, and passing over this bridge it was an amazing surprise. it felt like taking part in the futuristic movie "Blade runner" or "2001" when crossing through the spacey lit of Nhat Than bridge.

Modern Bridge
Nov 2018 • Solo
We passed by this bridge from the airport going to the Old Quarters. You wont miss noticing this bridge because it has a modern design and quite unexpectedly it is quite attractive .

At night when lit up it adds up to the unusual design element of this bridge.

Lights! Lights! And more lights!!
Feb 2019 • Friends
It is hard to imagine not crossing this bridge as it connects the airport to the city. We have crossed this bridge a few times while here and it is fascinating to see all the lights changing colours regularly! The Vietnamese sure do love their LED lights!

Major transport link
Dec 2018 • Couples
If you are flying in and out of Noi Bai International Airport then you are more than likely to travel across Nhat Tan Bridge. Opened in 2015 the bridge links Hanoi to Noi Bai International Airport, I can only imagine that its position has improved travel time and comfort significantly. The six lane bridge with its striking five towers crosses over the Red River, there are limited views of the river and landscape. The combined length of the bridge and approaching roads totals 8.3 kilometres.

Truly Impressive Landmark - and Convenient Way to Airport
Dec 2018 • Couples
Apparently, this is Vietnam's longest bridge. Frankly, with its five concrete towers representing the five ancient gates of Hanoi, it's probably longer than the longest bridges in many countries. I've now been across it a number of times both in cars and on my bike. Technically, pedestrians are not allowed but people on their scooters and bikes often stop and take pictures of the barges going underneath. It's really quite dramatic. Yes, the bridge is lit up spectacularly at night. It's certainly a spectacle when viewed from across West Lake.
