Staff management, especially the training of caddies is extremely poor.
Caddies swings our golf clubs during the waiting for the tee off.
What made me more irritating was that they forgot to buckle up a golf bag to the cart and started off right in front of me, drop the bag off from the cart, which lead to the damaged golf clubs, which I have used only once before.
Even though it is near to the city center, I will never go again.

This place was very impressive. The owner really splashed money to develop this beautiful course. The fairways, the greens, etc were well maintained. It made our group golfing a great experience and all love the course. Caddies were pretty good and they appeared to be quite well trained.

The locker rooms, reception area, restaurants and even the halfway houses were really splendidly done up. Huge too, surely impressive if you had been golfing in other older Vietnamese courses.

Our package came with free lunch and the lunch spread was very generous. There were sashimi, sushi, oyster baked in cheese, kim chi, soups and other delicious food. We must thank the management for offering us a great lunch and a great golfing experience. Surely we would like to re-visit soon.Thank you Long Bien

As the title suggest, there were many similarities in the look of this course compared to its counter part TSN GC in HCM. The course layout, clubhouse and locker room look literally like each other except the one in HCM has 36H while this is 27H. Nice halfway houses with air-con in every 3-4 holes fulfilled all expectations.

Contrary to other reviews earlier, we played in July 2019 and the greens was fast. Not sure if it is because we were playing with slow greens for 3 days and had already adjusted to it and thus putt-ed harder but it seems a small tap or a nice shot onto the green got the ball rolling fast and furious way out of target.

Nevertheless, it has the elevated tee offs, greens and small lakes like what we see in TSN, except it is not as crowded.

A good course to play en route airport, and the best experience we had over the 4 courses we played in Hanoi. The free buffet nothing to shout about but hey, it FOC. Was told by Agent a round here on July weekend is USD 115. Makes this course definitely value for money

Be prepared to spend $4 million unless you have a caddy, your own golf shoes and clubs.
Drinks expensive - but in saying that it's a awesome golf course.
If playing solo that $4m will include your caddys charge and a drink (non alcoholic) for your caddy
Uber from Hanoi approx 50,000 Dong
👏 Awesome experience and adventure

A short drive out of Hanoi, this relatively new course boasts wide fairways which are fairly short and forgiving. The course was immaculately maintained for the most part, apart from a couple of greens.

The caddies were all male and professional, equipped with range finders and a good working knowledge of the greens. You wouldn't go far wrong to listen to their read of the lie or which club to use.

The game came with a free set lunch along with a juice. There were several options available, all of which proved very decent in terms of portions, presentation and taste.

A very pleasant course in which to spend a morning.

This is a nice track & has 27 holes, courses A, B & C. Has some very demanding long par 4's. It has a good range & design of holes. Fairways, bunkers & tee boxes very good, but the greens were a little rough & slow. This is a well kept course & is a rather difficult track considering there is no real WOW factor holes. Caddies were average & spoke little english & demanded 200VND as a tip before they'll give your clubs back when you leave. Finally the clubhouse is the biggest I've ever been inside anywhere in the world, simply amazing.
I would definitely come back for another game.

This golf course is close to the center, but it's too crowded and nothing special. Suitable for people who don't have much time

Long Bien golf course is the golfing equivalent of buying a ‘business class’ seat but without the accompanying service. They happily charge top prices (probably to pay for the ostentatious and soulless Clubhouse). However the course is mediocre with nothing notable or memorable.

My wife and I booked a tee for 12.26pm arriving at 10.30am in order to get in much needed practice beforehand (as on our travels we hadn’t played for 7 weeks).

We handed over 5.6m VD (£180 or $240 USD) ouch! and duly went to the driving range. We then arrived at the putting green 45 minutes before our allotted tee time to get a feel for the pace etc but no sooner had we got on there we were ordered to go to the 2nd tee where a single player was waiting for us!! We pointed out that we were not due to tee off for a further 45 minutes but the starter Marshall said - we have a gap in the tee times and you must go immediately. Despite our protests, clearly annoyed and ill prepared we did as instructed and went to the 2nd tee where a single player was indeed waiting for us! We asked him what his tee time was and he said 11.15am!

As golf is supposed to be played in a relaxed frame of mind it was no surprise that we started poorly and it took a number of holes before we got into our game. Whilst our playing partner was a very pleasant Vietnamese man his golf was erratic - he frequently put his drives OB and had to take a second ball and then spend time looking for either or both. This didn’t bother me until on the 14th hole the course Marshall marched up to me and told me that I was playing slowly and because of that I needed to speed my play up!

The annoying part of that was the time wasted by our playing partner taking 3 off the tee and looking for his ball. I was by now fuming and lost all desire to play golf. We finished at the 18th (having only played 17 holes) and took the matter up with the Course Manager. Despite our protests he just said he was sorry we felt angry and that the Marshall was right to usher us along as we were almost a hole behind the people in front.

The 17 holes had taken 4 hours and 5 minutes. The instructions inside the buggy stated that a full round should take 4 hours 30 minutes so we were not slow despite the time spent looking for our partners ball and the fact that the buggies were not allowed on the fairways which frequently meant walking to the ball.

We then went to complain to the Clubhouse Manager who listened sympathetically but simply shrugged her shoulders. Eventually she said we could have 1/18th of the course fee back because we only played 17 holes and she would also refund the cost of the range balls. We felt insulted and left.

In all the years playing golf we have have never been treated so badly. The clear objective of Long Bien is to take as much money as possible and fill the course at all times irrespective of the paying customer. I would suggest they are reliant on tourists passing through and are therefore ambivalent to the customers’ golfing experience just as long as they have your money. We had extended our stay in Hanoi for a few more days in order to play a couple more times but after our experience that was not going to happen.

If you want a happy golfing experience then definitely look elsewhere to spend your money.

We played 18 holes, 9 on 1 coarse, 8 on another and 1 on another, really? Male caddies were pretty average overall after playing at BaNa Hills.. The greens were very undulating, and very slow, pin positions were very tight, on the side of the slope. And nearly A$40 for a ball marker. Wow.
Don't want your time.

Good and challenging course close to the city center. Impressive clubhouse with HUGE locker rooms. Well organized staff, knowledgeable male caddies.
Relatively expensive (appr. 150 USD incl. lunch).
Korean lunch buffet was substandard in quality and taste.
