My sister and I had private tour with this company, and we had the best trip experience. The guide girl Trang Tuy gave us the best tour in Da nang/Bana hill/Ho shi. We will never forget our trip. Thank you.

We would highly recommend Amega Travel and Catherine. We worked with Catherine for a 2 weeks trip in SE Asia. She was extremely responsive, answering quickly, suggesting places to stay and comparing them for us, setting up tour guides, etc. One of became ill during the trip and we had to change 5 days of our trip because the person was too sick to travel on. Catherine worked very hard, over a weekend, to change our plane and hotel reservations and cancel reservations. She also worked hard to get us refunds when possible. We thought she was great.

If you find a better tour company than Go Indochina Tours, email me and let me know. I know that I will never get that email from you. This company is just great. I toured Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Da Nang, Hue, Hoi An and Saigon with this tour company and the service, the quality of the guides, the vessels that were used, the hotels, and the restaurants were all unbeatable. Everything that this company did for me was top shelf. They do not know the word no. For the customer, they will bend over backwards to accomplish your travel dream. My trip with Go Indochina Tours was my third visit to Vietnam. And it was the best of my visits. There is nothing that this company will not do for you. I highly recommend them.

We had a truly wonderful experience with Amega Travel/Go Indochina Tours. We worked with Thao (Americanized name "Catherine"), who simply could not have been more helpful, efficient, and delightful to work with. We used the company for "private" tours (consisting of our own group of 4 friends) in Hanoi, Saigon, the Mekong Delta, and Cambodia (Siem Reap) -- but Thao's help went way beyond those four places: booking a hotel for us in Phuket for a better rate than we could get ourselves, filling us in on touring and logistical options in Burma and Thailand, giving us feedback about her own and others' experiences in different places we were traveling -- you name it, she helped. In Hanoi, even though she herself was not the "tour guide," she came to the hotel in the evening to see us, and then took us first to a pharmacy to get a wrist bandage for an injured traveler, and then to the phone store to translate for us while we tried to get our phone communications set up. She was even prepared to take us to the hospital if necessary (fortunately, it wasn't). During the preparation period, she gave us contact information for travelers who had used her company before, and then bent over backwards to connect us with the tour guides we requested based on those recommendations. When we didn't know who to ask for, and expressed concern about making sure each guide's English was clear enough to be helpful to us (we used different guides in different locations), she actually gave us the contact information for several recommended guides in Siem Reap and invited us to call them and chat with them to judge for ourselves.

Interestingly, because of the way our trip was set up and the plans of the people we were traveling with, we had the opportunity to use two other well-known and highly respected companies during our 5-week trip -- one in the North and middle of Vietnam, and another in Burma. Thus we were able to compare, and still felt that Thao and the guides provided everything we could ask for. One guide, in Hanoi, was below the level of the others, but we set that up at the last minute and our preferred guide wasn't available; and if you ask Thao, she'll know who we were a little disappointed with and can connect you with someone else instead. Our guides in Saigon and Siem Reap were excellent (we missed out on the Mekong Delta trip because of illness) -- the guide in Saigon (Mr. Minh, recommended by a prior traveler) even took two of us to the medical clinic to take care of an injury, and then ran back and forth between the other couple (whom he was taking to various other sites) and back to the two of us, to make sure we were well taken care of until we were able to rejoin the others. And Thao kept in touch with us while we were traveling through Vietnam (including when we were with the other companies) and in Siem Reap, and even after that to help us with our plans in Burma and Thailand. In sum, you couldn't ask for more dedication and efficiency, or for a more enjoyable or helpful coordinator to communicate with. We felt like someone "had our backs" and would protect and guide us through any difficulties we encountered during the whole time we were there.

Overall we had a great time visiting Vietnam for the first time. Hanoi was a bit cold (due to an unexpected cold front) and kind of quite. Ha Long Bay was very nice but we would have preferred to visit when it was about 10 degrees warmer.
Ho Chi Minh City was exciting, crowded and full of things to do....we loved it the best.

I was referred to Go Indochina Tours by my cousin who recently toured with them and I was not disappointed. Thao (Catherine) was very responsive and helpful. She followed up and was very patient as we figured out our plans. She helped me book the best options for our short trip in Da Nang and the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. There was a flight cancel but Thao was very diligent to be in touch and worked with the airline to get us a better option than what we originally had planned.

I would totally recommend the company to any travelers!

My friends and I went to Vietnam in January,2016. We were amazed by the beautiful places where our guide Denis invited us. We were at Hanoi and Halong Bay, Nha Trang, Saigon. Denis told us interesting facts about these places, suggesting new points to stay and visit. He also was very helpful, he knew a lot about the places we had been to, followed us to local restaurants. By the way, Denis speaks both Russian and English, so that it' ll be very important for russian tourists. We want to say big thanks to the company and especially to Denis for making our first visit to Asia unforgettable and impressive!

Our daughter had visited Viet Nam about 6 years ago and raved about her experience there....the scenery is beautiful, the food is outstanding,,,,everything is cheap...and everybody loves Americans, she said! Based on that review, we attended the New York Times Travel Show, held annually every January in NYC...and we made a Bee Line to the Viet Nam booth. There we met Catherine Hoang. We were advised what times of the year to travel...what cities to visit.....what level of hotels to stay in, and we gave Catherine the assignment to prepare an itinerary. Ours was a private tour...we had a professional guide and a driver in every city we visited...Hanoi, Hoi An, Hue, Saigon...and then over to Seam Reap in Cambodia to see Angkor Wat. We were on the road for 16 days and by our last stop, we had literally checked off every every single site on the itinerary, without one mis-step along the way. Catherine and her team executed every detail beautifully and our four guides were all amazing. I would very highly recommend Catherine Hoang if you are thinking of taking this wonderful trip. Sapa is a beautiful landscape. As we reached the place, the one caught our eyes is gorgeous mountains with ladder rice fields as you can image. We love the natural of these mountains and valleys, the hospitality and nice of the local people, and also the tour manager who made it more memorable. It is recommended for those love the natural view and the cool weather of the mountain.
