The museum is wonderful. The museum's display and story telling are very special, leaving a deep impression on visitors. In particular, the documents in the museum are very rare and profound. Uncle Nguyen Van Huy shares his enthusiasm and enthusiasm, everyone should come

A museum worth visiting to learn about. We have learned many things about Mr. Nguyen Van Huyen and his wife. I like his mindset of learning through practice, experience, and traveling more to understand more.

It is a beautiful little museum about several generations of the family of one of Vietnam's eminent scholars, who was also the first minister of education. Because of this clearly defined frame, one can see illustrated the ideas and values that make Vietnamese society so strong. As an exhibition designer, I appreciate the clarity and subdued energy and intelligence of the museum exhibitions.

This is a hidden gem, a wonderful, beautifully laid out museum – four floors of family history, focusing on Nguyễn Văn Huyên, Ph. D., Vietnam’s first and longest-serving Minister of Education – a remarkable scholar, ethnologist and patriot, the first Vietnamese doctoral graduate of the Sorbonne, whose life intertwines with, and illustrates, Vietnam’s changing history through the twentieth century. The Museum is in the outlying village of Lai Xa, accessible by taxi (about thirty minutes from central Hanoi) or by No. 20 or 29 (or 70 or 73) bus from Cau Giay. Highly recommended, especially for history buffs, and those wanting something outside the standard tourist trail.

Of all of Hanoi's museums, this one is special. The history of Vietnam's longest-serving Minister of Education might not inspire everyone. But, this is more than just that. This is a home that has become a shrine to a family and ultimately a man whose life spanned so much of modern Vietnam history. Heck, he was friendly with Ho Chi Minh! And, the tour was provided by the granddaughter in law of the man himself. The visit started with some tea (or cool water) and then a tour of the garden. After that, we went through the four floors of photos and documents. It was actually incredibly interesting.

The museum is well worth the visit. Visitors can learn about the culture and history of Viet Nam through the exhibits on the life of the former Minister of Education for VN, and prominent intellectual, Dr. Nguyễn Văn Huyen. Nearby is also the Lai Ca Photography Museum, which also gives a lot of information about Viet Nam in the 20th century. Lastly, visitors can see the rural culture, by wandering around Lai Xa village. Go on a weekend, and if you go early, you can visit the VN Ethnology Museum on your way back to town. Highly recommended!

Family memories, the love of parents for children and the love of childrens for parents are good lessons for all. The story of schooling, study of a young man are the useful experiences for students. The country's history are shown over the life of a family.

A private museum displays family memorabilia and artifacts but contains stories that spread to many generations. This place not only stores personal and family artifacts, but it also contains stories, which are valuable assets for each individual.
