Best part was the exit

This place should be shut down with the way the animals are treated! Elephants left chained up no water or food near them! To use the phrase Run down is an understatement. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Even though the park is very old and not interesting at all, there are many area under construction. But I went with my girlfriend so it doesn't matter, I had good time ^^

Obviously not paradise

The park is poor, ugly and not well-maintained. Many machines are broken. They have only one dolphin for the show.

Small kids can be entertained with the small zoo and aquarium.

Definitely not a “Paradise” Park

I am a teacher of English in Vietnam and went here with a school trip on 23/07/2015. The Vietnamese head teacher arranged everything, so it was a compulsory trip. The park is located on the outskirts of Hanoi.

Upon arrival it was very quiet, which I thought was normal and as it was a weekday. Our lunch at the restaurant had been pre-ordered as there were many of us going. The restaurant was the best thing. The architecture was good and the inside was "okay". The food was basic though.

Now the part that killed me a little inside... the zoo. It was an utter disgrace. Elephants chained to the concrete ground. These chains were less than 2m long. I wanted have included photos. I also took a video of the movements of one elephant walking forward, getting tugged by the chain, walking backwards, getting tugged by the chain.. etc. It was heart breaking. I couldn't see any access to water or food in reach either.

4 rhinos kept in 2 small paddocks, the only enclosure that I somewhat approved of was the giraffe and zebra enclosure. It was slightly larger but they had a good supply of food and water.

All the tigers (5) and the lions (4) showed some sort of mental problems, almost catatonic. They paced back and for, back and for at the window or in a circle around their enclosure. The enclosures had small limiting pools too.

They have many other creature in this part of the zoo also, all with small cages that do not suit the animals within.

They have a rundown "fun" fair. Definitely a lack of maintenance, walkways were overgrown, rides were rusty and everything just seemed like it was on its last legs.

The parks pride and joy is obviously there aquarium, swimming pool and aquatic show amphitheater. The aquarium was not too bad until I reached the sea lion enclosure. I almost cried. It was so small for 3 sea lion, one of which was a pup. they swam in a circuit around and around and around in this small pool. They were required to perform also in the amphitheater.

The dolphins were kept in tiny holding tanks next to the performance pool. This was surrounded by a massive swimming pool for the public to enjoy. The public had a bigger pool that the dolphins.

I did not witness the dolphin show as it was everything that I am against. The sea lions were made to perform for food and entertain the crowd. It was sickening.

Many people will say "but they're doing their best" when it comes to maintenance and animal care, but their best is nowhere near good enough. They shouldn't have animals at the "Paradise Park"

As I was on a school trip, the kids were completely oblivious to the animal care issues and enjoyed it. I dont ever intend to visit again and do not recommend anybody ever going there and wish for these animals to be supported and cared for elsewhere.

left to rot and crumble from lack of Maintence

Heard this was a good place to see only to discover after a VND$200,000 taxi trip out of Hanoi about half an hour .When we arrived,we paid the entrance fee with all smiles and Xin Chao as i find everywhere in Vietnam, then we walked in to find a ghost town ,a huge theme park with little or no one around,it was school holidays,it was a hot day but this place was crumbling from a sheer lack of care and it looked like no one was even doing any gardening or cleaning at all.The craft village was interesting but sadly lacking soul ,The ancient village had a bunch of whisky drinking cleaners sitting around ,I could of sworn that i missed the sign that said closed due to lack of interest as that is how it felt,
Went to the waterpark and only after purchasing another ricket could i swim ,then i discover that the big slides were broken and only the little ones worked ,UNBELIEVABLE...... The Aquarium was rundown and a little sad, especially the sea lions enclousre,....
We wandered around to see rustin ferris wheels and a rollercoaster that had not seen any grease in along time, weeds grew everywhere and all in all very depressing ,I'm sure in it's day it was great, built in 2008 at a cost of $50,000,000,00 it is a shame ,but i feel it is too far out for the tourist visitors to Hanoi,DO NOT BOTHER !!!!
