About Vietnam by Vespa
We are big fans of slow cook. We smoke chickens, beef briskets, ribs and sausages. We ride scooter to take you to our favorite eateries in Hanoi: Pho, Xoi, Banh Cuon, BunCha, BanhMi. We love Pho Bo Beef Noodles from Diem and Nam families, West and South of Hanoi, run by women, offer finely crafted noodles for generations. Our favorite breakfast is Bun Cha from Huong Dung family, a village North West of city. Our popular dinner is Xoi sticky rice with pickles and sausages from North. Our friend's union Saturday meal is Fish Hot Pot from family of Lady Bang. My family's weekend union is pastrami banhmi.

This was such an amazing tour. You definitely have to do it and if it’s possible with Thao and Ha. They are very passionate about what they do and it was pleasure to learn some curiosities about the city. Thao and Ha and their team made possible an unforgettable experience. They took us to different restaurants to explore the culinary delights and enjoy the best authentic specialties of Hanoi. We highly recommend this tour!

We had a blast with Thao. He asked a lot of questions to make sure the food tour was catered to our liking, and he far exceeded expectations. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Hanoi, especially those who want an authentic tour & tasting.

My family went on this tour on second last day in Hanoi and was fantastic. Ha was a lovely host and spending time in his home with his wife and getting to know Vietnamese people and their way of life was truly a honour. Thank you. Highly recommend this tour.

We had such a fantastic tour with Ha. I’ll be honest in saying I was a little intimidated about being on a moped in the mayhem of Hanoi at night. But upon first meeting our guide, Ha, I felt at ease. Ha was a super professional in hospitality and amazingly intuitive on how to engage each guest. He tailored our tour to my food preferences (no meat, just fish) and was very tuned into teaching us the customary greetings and thank you’s in Vietnamese so we could respectfully interact with our chefs/vendors. The trip was two part fantastic in both experiencing the city by bike and getting an inside taste of the streets of Hanoi. I tried things I would not have tried on my own (dime size rice paddy crabs) and got an understanding of how each commodity had a place in the markets, farm-life and economy. I could not more highly recommend this tour. We did it on our second night- which was a great way to kick off our experience and get to know the lay of the land. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🛵🇻🇳

We had the absolute pleasure of doing this Vietnam by Vespa food tour in September 2019. Ha and his coworkers were fabulous. They were entertaining, engaging and knew all the great places to go and try wonderful street food in Vietnam. If you visit Hanoi, you have to include this on your itinerary. Ha is a friend for life.
