The Original War Tour Of Hanoi

No matter your age, you’ve probably heard about the Vietnam War, one of the most famous wars in world history and appeared frequently on every major newspaper back in the 1960s. There is so much information about this historical event, so we want to design The Original War Tour which is the best choice to explore and learn more about the real Vietnam War from the perspective of the local who was involved or the victims of the war. We take you out of the old quarter to bring you to the far off places for you to get the chance to experience and learn about the Vietnam war and also the French Indochina war that has affected Hanoi for many years.

We get the opportunity to visit some very unique locations in and around Hanoi city. In each place we visit, we share special stories about what happened here over 44 years ago. Most of them are far away from tourist eyes.

With physical travel not happening right now, I thought it would be fun to take a virtual coffee tour of Hanoi. I took the 10pm (East Coast time) tour and it was a great Friday night of exploring! My tour guide, Cong, was super personable and even though we were all Zooming in remotely, he made it an interactive experience as if we were on the ground with him. Cong took us to four coffee shops and showed us different local coffee styles and gave a bit of history of coffee and architecture in Hanoi. It was super interesting and I'd highly recommend this virtual tour! Hopefully my next experience can be in person!

I recently did the Hanoi Secret Coffee VIRTUAL tour and to be honest I was really very pleasantly surprised. The tour was a gift actually and my expectations of an online 'virtual' coffee tour of Hanoi weren't high, to be honest. How wrong was I? The tour was really good and a very welcome escape from the current lockdown problems. Our guide Nikkita was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and she happily answered all our dumb touristy questions with a smile. As well as being funny and easy-going, she was also incredibly knowledgable. Thanks to her, our virtual tour was not only fun but surprisingly informative especially for a coffee lover like myself. Nikkita didn't only show us how coffee is made in Hanoi, she fully explained and demonstrated each step of how we can make our own Vietnamese coffee here in our own homes which was an unexpected bonus. Our tour was a morning tour (Vietnam time), so nice and convenient for me given the time difference and took us through the back streets of Hanoi to places that we would never have found ourselves even if we were really there in Hanoi. Top tip - the last stop is great! Highly recommended, especially for the low price and we can't wait to get out to Vietnam in the real world to enjoy an actual tour with Nikkita and compare the real Vietnamese coffee against my own efforts made at home.

A very fun virtual tour that we took from her on living room. Lauren some really interesting stuff about coffee in Vietnam. The tour guide made it fun and exciting and had one scariest scooter rides I've ever been on when I wasn't even there. The only thing I regret is that we did not have smell-a-vision for this tour.

Cong was an awesome tour guide. Really enjoyed the 5 coffee shop tour and details of each visit. The virtual trip by motor scooter with Cong talking you through each stop makes you feel Like you are there. The types of coffee’s and the back and forth questions and answers from the folks in zoom was great. It was a nice way to end my day here in the US and gave me hope for traveling again one day soon.

I just took a virtual tour of Hanoi's Secret coffee spots this last Friday. It was so much fun. Brilliant idea for all of us who are trapped in our houses during this pandemic. The Guide "Tony" was delightful and engaging. I really wish there was smell-o-vision, because I am sure the coffee smelled great. This was a really nice diversion and it just made me want to visit Vietnam even more.
