Absolutely fantastic going on a trekking tour with Mr Linh's Adventures. All their guides are friendly, extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable about the country and activities. Food and accommodation was also lovely. We did mountain and countryside trekking, boating, kayaking, caving, visited local villages, sightseeing and so much more. Our 2 week itinerary with them was exciting, adventurous and diverse and I'll recommend them to anyone visiting Vietnam!

By far one of the most wonderful excursions ever over decades of travel….two night, three days with both nights at home stays
They were both good but staying at BaBe lake was phenomenal. It allows you to meet and share the experience with other people. Giang (Tour Guide) and Long (Driver) could not have been better
I realize that many tourists don’t tip in Viet Nam but I think this excursion deserved acknowledgement over and above the every day ones offered

My tour was to Ban Gioc waterfall 2 days and one night. The attractions were good, the Guide and the driver were also good. However, considering the price of the tour, we were very upset with the hotel that accommodated us in the city of Cao Ban, the hotel was very old, the bathroom was terrible, there was no shower stall and when we took a shower everything got wet, the bed had dirty sheets and the The mattress is hard as a rock and the breakfast was bad. Likewise, we didn't like the restaurants included for both lunches and dinner. We didn't even stay to eat the dinner one, as it was unpleasant. Imagine that the car journey to the city of Cao bang takes 6 to seven hours, on a beautiful road, but very dangerous and full of curves and we did this one day and came back the next day. We deserved to have slept at least in a hotel that was clean and had a comfortable bed, but this didn't happen. We also deserved to eat in better restaurants, with better food.

Our group of 14 friends spent 3 days in Ninh Binh with Mr Linh’s Adventures and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We stayed at the Tam Coc Garden Homestay in a bungalow which was clean, comfortable and welcoming, and on the second night we stayed in the Bai Dinh Hotel and Pagoda complex. We have never seen anything like it and may not again. The hotel is large and well laid out, with great food and friendly staff. With the corona virus not a great number of people are travelling so we were spoilt for service.
The pagoda complex is unique, interesting, and huge. That in itself was worth the trip, and without Mr Linh’s Adventures we would never have known it was there!
We visited ancient monuments relating to the dynasties of Dinh and Le prior to the 10th century, we went for two boat rides through caves (ever been on a boat rowed by a person using their feet?), hiked to the top of Ngoa Mountain (486 steps and fantastic views) and where the more adventurous went out to the dragon’s tail or stood on the pinnacles to have their photo taken.
We visited the biggest pagoda in Vietnam, we visited the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre, the cave ‘of the early man’ (over 7,000 ago), and had a short hike to the 1,000 yo tree.
Great trip with a good driver (Mr Duy) and a friendly, knowledgeable guide (Mr Long). The trip was very well organised and gave more than promised.

Thank you Tonye for your review, we are so glad we helped you make the most of your experience in Ninh Binh province. The area is a treasure, no wonder why it is called 'Halong Bay on land'! It can become quickly crowded but we do our best to avoid the most frequented areas and show you the culture of the place and its beautiful people. Thanks again for traveling with us and praising our team. Mr Linh's Adventures Team

We (family with 6yo and 9yo) stayed magnificently at Ba Be jungle house in the deluxe family room. We chose this place to relax after our adventures in Ha Giang, and loved the pool against the lake.

After resting on our first day (free kayaks and bicycles available but we felt too lazy!) we decided to go on the Tham Phay cave expedition which seems to be quite the hidden gem in Vietnam. We had a great guide who led us through the lush jungles of Ba Be, crossing streams, rice paddies, bamboo forests and valley to a farm where my kids held a teeny baby goat.

The farmer (and our English speaking guide who was full of great info about local flora, fauna and life in Ba Be) then led us down into the cave, lit only by our helmet lights and torches, just us. It was beautiful and very exciting. The guides let us know the safest places to stick to. We were provided with wet bags and offered wet shoes (we brought our own) and we walked and swam through the crystal cool waters of the underground river, observing fish and insects and bats, and hanging cave worm threads. The cave formations were amazing, full of sparkles and pools, stalactites and stalagmites, waterfalls and parts yet unexplored. Pristine ancient corridors curved and arched and widened before us, carved by water. One small opening required rolling into!

After we climbed back out and dried off, we walked back to the car and went to a local home for lunch and shared a pot of tea. This experience was easily amongst the top in our Vietnam trip! I hope this cave remains protected and sustainably accessed without losing its rawness.

Mr Linh's also organised a little boat trip for us on the lake in the morning after (enchanting) as well as our transport back to Hanoi. And 2 weeks of laundry!

Thanks so much for a great experience in Ba Be.

This was a truly special trip. We wanted to avoid the commercial Halong Bay and this trip definitely took you off the beaten track. The trek through Cat Ba Island was challenging and rewarding. We enjoyed the stay in Viet Village at the Whisper Homestay. Mung was our fantastic Cat Ba Island guide. He took us to the top of Navy Peak early the next morning for amazing views over the Bay. We then jumped on bikes down to the harbour for our day and night on a boat sailing around Lan Ha Bay. It was beyond our expectations. We loved the kayaking and the kids enjoyed jumping off the boat! The hospitality from Sing and the crew was so friendly. Thank you so much for the memories.

I was able to join two of the tours offered from Hanoi and back and was completely mesmerized by the landscapes outside of the city. The team was punctual, supportive, communicative and the facilities offered were clean and adequate.

The diverse variety of tours offered are incredibly attractive, along with the fantastic activities that are a part of the packages. I look forward to coming back to see parts of the country that I missed, especially with this crew :)

We did 5 days of trekking from Ha Giang to Ba Be with our wonderful guide, Long Tran,, and our excellent driver, Mr. Duy, from Mr. Linh's Adventures. We absolutely loved all the trekking, Long took us on hikes we never would have found ourselves. Hiking in the Ha Giang area, and our Sky Trek hike from Ma Pi Leng Pass were 2 of the highlights. We also loved the homestays and hotels they arranged for us. All of the food was fabulous too, such variety and so generous, every meal was a feast! Long was such a kind and friendly young man, we really enjoyed his company, and Long knew the region so well. We always felt safe with Mr. Duy driving! We highly recommend trekking with Long Tran and Mr. Duy of Mr. Linh's Adventures!

Did the 3 day Pu Luong trekking with Long. Cost was 390USD per pax and it was worth every bit of it.

We chose Pu Luong as we didn't want a touristy location. What we got was an experience like no other.

1. The accommodations were fantastic. Kinda makes you feel like you got a superb discount for them. We had 2 nights at 2 different home stays and both were amazing. But do bring some insect repellants as there's quite a bit of mozzies.

2. Food was awesome! We were fed to the brim daily with fresh local meals. The stuff the locals eat and from farm to table.

3. The views were breathtaking. We went through so many places and saw such amazing sights. Worth every cent we paid.
