I was part of a small group of travelers from Australia and New Zealand (NZ) with the Twos A Crowd travel agent. Our tour of Viet Nam was arranged with Viet Expert Travel.
This was my first travel from NZ outside Australia and the Pacific. I was both excited and nervous. My nerves soothed when our guide, Minh came aboard the bus. Minh has a sense of calm capability which was reassuring. I felt safe. He has an incredible knowledge of places, history and was happy to answer our questions. We went on amazing adventures which left me hungry to explore more of Viet Nam.
The accommodation was great, the street food tours were great. Everything was lovely and I recommend the tour company and our tour guide Minh to other travelers.
I was intrigued at the similarities of cultural values and ways of doing things with NZ Maori culture. The languages are both relational. Viet Nam language has different greetings for men, women, older ma, older women, younger person, children - NZ Maori language is the same. As more NZ Maori visit Viet Nam the ties will strengthen.

Viet Expert Travel was a fantastic agent to work with. Trang is very accommodating and resolved our visa issue with 30.mins so that we board our plane. Amazing service!. The tour was great and their guide jn HCH - Chee, he took care of our family very well and he is very knowledgeable.

I cannot praise Trang and her team highly enough. We looked at a set travel agenda with a leading UK based travel company, then with Viet Expert Travel. Both gave great advice but we liked the detail and the extra local knowledge that Trang's team provided. They also have the advantage of being based in Vietnam ( great for last minute emergencies...which we needed when the service of a local budget airline from the Mekong Delta was suspended at short notice!). They ensured everything went smoothly, every day. Their guides were superb and gave us such an insight into the culture of Vietnam, over and beyond usual tourist things. Our trip included Hanoi, Halong Bay, Nimh Binh, Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong Delta and Phu Quoc island. We missed out Hue and Hoi An as November is rainy season in Central Vietnam ( lucky we did as it turns out, big floods )

Trang was a super lovely travel agent who made sure that every need was met. If we wanted to change 1 thing to another. Not a single issue at all.
Could go as a group or individual. We decided to go individually instead of a group and it worked out perfectly!
Our tour guides were lovely! Highly recommend them for both Vietnam and Cambodia.

Where to start......
I chose Vietnam for our honeymoon just after the wedding. A simple Google search led me to Trang and Viet Expert Travel and I am just so happy it did. From the first moment, replying on Whatsapp within minutes, Trang has been a dream to work with on customizing our once in a lifetime experience. Being a travel agent myself, the level of attention and service is something I also aspire to achieve myself. Trang was very helpful with finding the right details - the food tour with our excellent private guide Tuan, cruise in Ha Long Bay which turned out to be just a dream - and a beautiful resort hotel down in Hoi An. Always online, willing to help, asking sincerely if we were enjoying ourselves, always eager to help out will all the changes we wanted to undergo during the trip. I was thrilled, not only by Vietnam itself with the delicious food and humble and welcoming people, but especially the service and feeling of being welcome that made the whole trip just amazing. We booked a customised tour through VietExpert Travel, with the expert help of Jessica. Her communication and flexibility with our requests was outstanding. She was so helpful with our changes and helping us plan our itinerary and the trip ended up being everything we hoped for and more. The guides who took us here, there and everywhere were friendly, helpful and fun. Our trip was a full and authentic Vietnam experience with the perfect balance of some relaxation time included. I highly recommend Jessica and will book with her again for our next trip.

Era un viaje muy esperado y especial por lo que queríamos que todo saliera genial. Confiamos en Expert Travel agency y todo fue fui fácil desde el principio. Thuan nos ayudó a diseñar un viaje para disfrutar en familia. Trang ha estado también en contacto con nosotros todo el viaje asegurado se de que todo nos fuera bien incluso acompañándonos en persona al tren de Sapa. Una experiencia maravillosa para que mi hija se lleve el mejor recuerdo posible del país que la vio nacer.
It was a long awaited and special trip so we wanted everything to go great. We trusted Expert Travel agency and everything went so easy from the beginning.
Thuan helped us design a trip to enjoy as a family. Trang has also been in contact with us during the whole trip and made sure that everything was good, even coming with us to the train to Sapa. A wonderful experience for my daughter to take with her the best possible memories of the country where she was born.
