Unique store in Hanoi

Just happened to come across Nami's store as I was walking around the Old Quarter. The unique products out the front drew me in - very different to any of the other stores in the area. Pretty handmade necklaces and lovely stationery. Will be back to buy gifts before I leave Vietnam

Some great stuff at this shop and the manager is lovely. My friend and I got great prices on the souvenirs/gifts that we bought after we stumbled upon the shop by chance. Would definitely recommend checking it out.

We visited this little store in the Old Quarter primarily because of the beautiful handmade and lacquered coconut bowls on display out the front. It's a nice, tidy, well displayed store front which makes a refreshing change in comparison to most of the other gift stores selling the same tired old stuff.
We purchased 5 of the Matt colour coconut bowls and would have bought a few more had they had the colours we wanted. We haggled the assistant down from 55.000 Dong to 47,000 Dong a piece (£1.33 / $2.21) however this was our second visit, the first one being a fail. The first assistant wound not budge much on the prince so we walked ..persevere!
I checked prices in the UK before buying, eBay and the like...they are extortionate in comparison so worth buying if your into your home furnishings!! Happy shopping x
