Our family came to Hanoi in the first trip to South East Asia. I myself have been to Vietnam several times for business so this time I had to look for something more different and personal guided tours. Tony and his team was absolutely great choice - prompt email replies, flexible itinerary - exactly what we looked for (our family members are very different in tastes, yet he found no difficulty at all satisfying all of us!!). Some hidden streets in the city can't be found by ourselves; especially the local restaurant that he took us was awesome. He organized Halong bay boat tour that was amazing; definitely a must-to-to in Vietnam.
Overall, we give Tony and his team our highest recommendation for a trip-of-a-lifetime We shared food, laughter, ideas and above all, friendship.

Tony is professional and knowledgeable. His English is great and really helped with getting around town. Most taxi drivers do not speak English so getting to each attractions would have been a nightmare. He knows a lot of information about important landmarks and the culture here! If I come back I know who I'm going to call. Thanks Tony!

I travelled solo in Hanoi ,hoi am and ho Chios city with tony and he made timely arrangements everywhere . He is not pushy and quite knowledgeable . He also put an extra effort to locate vegetarian restaurants for me.

After investigating private tour guides for Hanoi and Halong Bay we chose Tony. We made the right choice. Tony was responsive to our emails immediately, customized an itinerary that met our schedule and was professional, on time, fun and very informed.
We arrived at Halong City on the Silversea Silver Wind at 8 am. Tony and our driver were right there to meet us in a large, new, clean SUV. On the long 3 hour drive to Hanoi, Tony was very outgoing and interested in discussing Hanoi, Vietnam and history with us.
When we arrived in Hanoi we did the tour we had requested, with no unnecessary stops. Our driver was always ready near by each site with the air conditioning on and cold fresh water. We had a,fantastic day seeing all our hoped for sites, a superb lunch at a restaurant Tony recommended and more sites and shopping in the afternoon. We opted to stay overnight at the Sofitel Metropole which was beautiful and peaceful.
Tony was waiting at 5 am the next morning for our drive back for a cruise he arranged for us on Halong Bay. It was a,cruise just for the two of us and absolutely wonderful with lunch included. He even remembered that we wanted some flowers to take back to the ship. So, before we left Hanoi, Tony took us to the wholesale flower market to make our flower purchases.
We had an excellent time, great memories and good stories to tell about our time with Tony.,We highly recommend him.

What an incredible day. Thank you so much Tony. From the moment I spoke with you on the phone I knew I wanted to book you. You are warm, friendly and knowledgeable about your hometown. The tour of Ha Long Bay you organised for us was exactly what we were looking for. We felt like we had the whole islands to ourselves. Tony was a friendly and professional guide who gave us a good tour of the rural Vietnam near to Hanoi. He was always wanting to help and shielding us from the dodgy Vietnamese toilets! a guide in Vietnam does not seem to be there to provide detailed historical information but rather to organise events and make sure that you have a good visiting experience. I observed the activity of many guides while in Vietnam and Tony was the most impressive of them.

We traveled as a family of 8 (6 adults and 2 young kids) to Hanoi and Halong Bay. Tony was our guide for the whole time we were there. Tony was fun, accommodating, knowledgeable and went above and beyond his duty to take us to some of the local areas (we took long walks at Hanoi back alleys and markets), Overall it was a very enjoyable experience.
